The cat aka Qiao Jun shuddered and he understood that his plan backfired.

He tried to run away from Yu Holea’s arm by gently struggling but Yu Holea held him and tickled him on his ears, followed by her warm breath on his neck,

"Little cat where are you going? Stop struggling, Mom just wants to hold you."

Qiao Jun could swear that he wanted to move but his entire body refused to listen to him.

He never knew that his ears were his sensitive area.

Mrs. Qiao suddenly smiled and took the cat away from Yu Holea’s arm.

"Holea, you don’t need to worry, I will take care of this cat. Once I am done I will send the cat back to your room."

Yu Holea felt that there was something strange in Mrs. Qiao’s smile but she wasn’t able to pinpoint it at all.

However remembering how much of a gentle person Mrs. Qiao was, Yu Holea nodded obediently,

"Ok, Aunty then I will take my leave."

The cat looked at Yu Holea and waved his hand as if he was asking Yu Holea to take him away with her.

Yu Holea felt pity and couldn’t help but kiss on his forehead and said,

"Be a good kitty and don’t trouble Aunty."

The cat aka Qiao Jun froze and Yu Holea left.

It is only when the door closed that Qiao Jun heard Mrs. Qiao’s cold voice that he came out of the daze,

"How strange. Such a human-like cat us suddenly visiting our Qiao Mansion just before Yu Holea’s arrival and acting all cute."

Mrs. Qiao patted the cat’s head and said,

"What is even more strange is that the cat resembles so much my second son. Not only the eyes but also the way it is sticking with Holea."

Qiao Jun shuddered, however, he tried to gamble and made a small meow voice.

Mrs. Qiao froze and her smile slowly faded,

"My dear second son, if you don’t stop this facade right away I will tell Yu Holea the truth."

The cat transformed into a human aka Qiao Jun looked at his mother with a helpless expression and said,

"How did you know?"

Mrs. Qiao shook her head and said,

"How could I not? You can transform all you want but did you forget that I share a resonance bond with those whom I have lived with for 10 years or so?"

Qiao Jun held his forehead and said,

Mrs. Qiao walked toward one of the sofas and asked with a knowing smile,

"Holea doesn’t know that you are the cat she is going to such a long extent for?"

Qiao Jun didn’t answer and instead looked at Mrs. Qiao,

"Mom!"

Mrs. Qiao smiled and asked,

"How far you guys have come? Have you confessed your feelings for her yet? Are you two dating? Oh! My bad, if you two were dating then why would you will have to become a cat just to be around Yu Holea."

Qiao Jun: "..." Why does my mother have such a poisonous tongue?

In order to change the subject Qiao Jun asked,

"Well, how do you know that I like her."

It was only an instinct but Qiao Jun kept on feeling as if his mother knew everything...

"Does it matter?"

"Yes." Qiao Jun nodded.

"Um...I don’t know...maybe when my cute Holea was being held by you and you were busy biting her fingertips...I must say you succeed in making Holea blush." Mrs. Qiao said with a chuckle and Qiao Jun froze.

Mrs. Qiao continued as if she didn’t see Qiao Jun’s embarrassment,

"Imagine my surprise when I saw how my second son who hates to be touched by any girl, bit someone’s fingertips and even tricked her.

What surprised me the most was how you tricked Holea into calling you Brother Jun and even threatening her before breakfast."

Qiao Jun kept a poker face with no emotion, however, his cheeks which were turning red with each passing moment betrayed him.

Mrs. Qiao smirked,

"Son keep it up! I believe with your skills you will be able to trick her. "

Qiao Jun was surprised and looked at Mrs. Qiao,

"Jun do you know when she first time came to her house, how she looked?"

Honestly, he had only met Yu Holea once before their encounter in the Qiao Mansion.
