Chapter 371:Yu Sicong’s Accident

Chapter 371: Chapter 371:Yu Sicong’s Accident

Hm? Was the banquet Qiao Family and Yu Sicong talking about is same? Otherwise, why would there be such a coincidence?

"I will think about it." Yu Holea said.

Yu Sicong nodded understandingly. "Of course, take your time to consider. It would be wonderful to have you accompany me, but I understand if you have other commitments."

Now that he has his sister back, he doesn’t want to force her to do anything that she doesn’t want to.

He just wanted to bring her along so that she could have some fun.

Yu Holea suddenly looked at Yu Sicong’s destiny ring which turned from Yellow to black.

"Stop!" Yu Holea said.

Yu Sicong who was about to drive away stopped instantly and asked,

"What happened?"

"Brother, I can read your future if you want to." Yu Holea said.

"Huh?" Yu Sicong was confused by Yu Holea’s words.

Why does she want to read his future?

"Holea are you alright?" Yu Sicong asked with a concerned expression and said,

"Brother, just for 500 yuan I can read your future." Yu Holea repeated.

Yu Sicong thought that Yu Holea wanted to play with him. She is his sister anyway, he should accompany her, right?

"Okay. Please read my future." Yu Sicong said and gave a 500 yuan note.

Yu Holea took the 500 yuan and held Yu Siocng’s hand.

Closing her eyes, Yu Holea muttered some incantations and suddenly said,

"Brother avoid taking the highway today, or you will most likely get caught in an accident."

Yu Sicong’s eyes widened in surprise at Yu Holea’s words. He hadn’t expected her to say something so serious.

Despite his initial skepticism, he couldn’t help but feel a sense of unease creeping over him.

"Are you sure, Holea?" he asked, his voice tinged with concern.

Yu Holea nodded solemnly.

Yu Sicong hesitated for a moment, torn between trusting his sister’s intuition and dismissing her words as mere superstition.

But seeing the earnest look in her eyes, he knew he couldn’t ignore her warning.

At the same time, he remembered that person’s words,

’Destiny is a very strange thing. Who knows what miracle you will see in the future.’

"Brother ask someone to check that route. Someone has placed a trap for you there." Yu Holea reminded.

Hearing Yu Holea’s words, Yu Sicong nodded and said,

"Thank you, little sister."

Yu Holea looked at the black destiny ring and continued,

"Keep this talisman near your heart I have already activated it, once you encounter a danger, it will automatically protect you."

Yu Holea flicked 2 to 4 talismans and to Yu Sicong’s surprise the talismans levitated in the air and made their way straight to his pocket.

Was this some magic trick?

Suddenly Yu Sicong laughed,

"Holea are you performing some magic tricks or are you shooting some prank video?"

Yu Sicong peeked out of the window to see if there was a camera nearby.

Yu Holea: "..."

Seeing the speechless expression on Yu Holea’s face, Yu Sicong sighed and decided to not break his little sister’s heart,

"Alright! Alright, I won’t take the highway route, and ask someone to investigate. Since you are so insistent, I won’t go to the office anymore, alright?"

How could Yu Sicong believe Yu Holea, a 16-year-old girl? But since she was his sister, he would spoil her.

Yu Holea watched helplessly as Yu Sicong left and shook her head,

"I just hope you remain safe."

As Yu Sicong drove along the familiar streets towards his office, Yu Sicong couldn’t help but replay Yu Holea’s words in his mind.

However, just as he was about to turn onto the highway, his phone rang, interrupting his thoughts.

It was his secretary calling, her voice urgent and filled with concern.

"Mr. Yu, there’s been an emergency at the office," she said hurriedly. "We need you to come in right away. It’s a matter of utmost importance."

"Didn’t I already inform you that I won’t be coming today?" Yu Sicong asked he couldn’t believe that his staff was so incompetent.

Can’t they manage the company on their own for one day?

"Sir, someone has almost hacked the confidential data of the company and is threatening to release it if you don’t come to the company in person."

Yu Sicong felt irritated.

He knew he couldn’t afford to ignore this call, not when the company’s welfare was at stake.

As he drove towards the company, Yu Sicong couldn’t shake off the sense of foreboding that hung over him like a dark cloud.

Every instinct in his body screamed at him to turn back, to heed his sister’s warning and avoid the highway at all costs.

But duty called, and Yu Sicong couldn’t afford to let his personal fears get in the way of his responsibilities as the head of the company.

As he approached the intersection, his heart pounding in his chest, Yu Sicong suddenly felt a chill run down his spine.

Something wasn’t right.

The air seemed to crackle with tension, and a sense of impending doom hung heavy in the air.

And then, without warning, disaster struck.

From his left and right, two trucks came hurtling towards him, their headlights blazing in the darkness.

Yu Sicong’s eyes widened in horror as he realized what was happening – he was trapped, with no way out.

In a split-second decision fueled by panic and adrenaline, Yu Sicong slammed his foot down on the accelerator, desperately trying to escape the oncoming trucks.

But it was too late. From the front, another truck came barreling towards him at breakneck speed, its headlights blinding him in the darkness.

With nowhere left to turn, Yu Sicong’s mind raced as he frantically tried to come up with a plan.

He reached for the door handle, his fingers trembling with fear, but it was no use – the door wouldn’t budge.

In a last-ditch effort to save himself, he slammed on the brakes, but it was too late – the brakes failed, and the car continued hurtling towards its inevitable doom.

In that moment of sheer terror, as the world seemed to slow to a crawl around him, Yu Sicong’s mind flashed back to his sister’s warning.

"Avoid taking the highway," she had said. "Or you will most likely get caught in an accident."

As the trucks closed in on him from all sides, Yu Sicong felt a sense of regret wash over him. Regret for not listening to his sister, for ignoring her warning.

If only he had listened to her words...

If only he had said a proper goodbye to her...

He regretted not spending more time with his sister and wanted to go back in time and last time hug her.

He should have also said goodbye to his mom, dad, and two brothers...

Yu Sicong could his death nearing and he knew that he had no hope.

As the trucks closed in on him from all sides, Yu Sicong’s heart pounded in his chest, his breath coming in ragged gasps as he braced himself for the inevitable impact.

In that split second before disaster struck, time seemed to slow to a crawl, every heartbeat echoing in his ears like a drumbeat of impending doom.

Then, with a deafening crash that seemed to reverberate through his very bones, the world exploded into chaos.

Metal screeched against metal as the force of the impact sent Yu Sicong’s car careening off course, spinning wildly out of control as it collided with the surrounding wreckage.

In the blink of an eye, his entire world turned upside down, the world outside his windows a blur of twisted metal and shattered glass.

And then, just as suddenly as it had begun, everything went eerily silent.

Yu Sicong’s ears rang with the deafening silence as he struggled to regain his bearings, his mind reeling from the shock of the impact.

For a moment, he lay there in stunned silence, unable to comprehend the magnitude of what had just happened.

But then, slowly, awareness began to seep back into his consciousness, and he realized with a sudden jolt that he was still alive.

Against all odds, he had survived.

With trembling hands, he reached out to touch his body, expecting to feel the searing pain of broken bones and shattered flesh.

But to his astonishment, there was nothing.

No pain, no injuries, not even a scratch.

It was as if he had been enveloped in a protective bubble, shielded from harm by some unseen force.

"Hey, what happened?"

"Three trucks collided into a car."

"God! The person in the car will be dead right?"

"Hey catch the truck driver too!"

"Go and check!"

"Did you see that?" one of them exclaimed, his voice trembling with awe.

"There’s no way anyone could have survived that crash!"

"I know," another replied, shaking his head in disbelief.

"It’s like something out of a movie. But look – there’s someone inside the car!"

Yu Sicong gingerly pushed open the door of his car and stepped out into the wreckage-strewn street.
