"Can’t you say lines like, ’She only needs to be happy and rest will be done by me’ or something"

Qiao Jun: "..." I should stop my sister from seeing those dramas.

"Li world is not a flowery place. I am not a superman. Think about it, after I die protecting her, who will protect her? My subordinates? And what if they abandon her or die too? What then?"

Qiao Li was speechless.

Qiao Jun smiled as he said,

"When I sorted out Little Jun’s memory, I realized that the knight who was trying to take away Little Jun had perfectly grasped Yu Holea’s weakness. Her weakness is her loved ones.

Qiao Li gritted her teeth and said,

Qiao Jun laughed. Suddenly he understood why Qiao Li and Yu Holea were friends. Both of them are innocent and naive.

He walked in front of her and flicked a finger on Qiao Li’s head.

"Ouch!" Qiao Li shouted in pain.

"My cute sister, I will not punish you for the words you said now because of Holea. But if you tried to make such a joke again, the result won’t be good."

"I am not joking!" Qiao Li shouted.

"You are. And you are going to tell her to take the box with her everywhere and not to be startled when ’Little Jun’ in between hugs her during the night. Make any bullsh*t reason, I don’t care, just say make her believe that it is perfectly alright to be hugged by me during the night."

Qiao Li wanted to resist but she nodded her head, even though her eyes widened.

Her shameless second brother used his superpower to make her agree. And he is even using her to make Yu Holea agree to such a shameless condition.

How did she never know that her second brother was so shameless?

Qiao Li remembered how he had convinced her that he liked Yu Holea because of her(Qiao Li’s) sake.

Qiao Li felt like her brain was going to explode,

"Wait a minute! She hasn’t agreed to be your girlfriend yet! How can you start thinking about marriage?"

Qiao Jun narrowed his eyes,

"So I should let that chicken, Han Fei? Or that Mu guy? Or that Jiang guy take away Holea? Li you do realize that if Holea started liking either of them, she would leave the Qiao Mansion?"

Qiao Li closed her mouth, she wanted to argue but she wasn’t able to find any valid point.

"Li if I was in your place, I would have supported my second brother. After all, even if I can’t monopolize Holea I can at least see her and interact with her, and if lucky I could even get the chance to spend time with her."

Qiao Li felt that Qiao Jun was wrong but she wasn’t able to pinpoint it.

Qiao Jun continued with a serious face,

"Li when the situation is not in our favor, we should try to minimize the loss, understood?"

"Yes, brother." Qiao Li said unconsciously.

"Good. Now go downstairs, hand the box to Holea, and say whatever I asked you to say."

Qiao Li gritted her teeth, she felt it was better if she had pretended to not know about Qiao Jun’s plan.

See! Now her best friend will not only be taken away from her, but she will also be eaten till no bones will be left.

Remembering Yu Holea’s confession, Qiao Li snorted and said,

"I don’t understand why your attitude has changed so much suddenly. You are acting as if you weren’t the one who rejected my bestie’s confession! You are nothing but a two-faced jerk."

Qiao Li expected Qiao Jun to look guilty or explain how he had also started to like Yu Holea, after her confession, but the blank look on Qiao Jun’s face told her that something was amiss.

"First of all I don’t know about whatever confession you are talking about and second of all, you are going to find the person behind this misunderstanding. And convince Holea that I love her."

Qiao Li was stunned,

"You mean to say..."

"Yes I never received any confession, and I didn’t reject her either." Qiao Jun informed.

Qiao Li was taken aback. When she remembered how much her bestie had cried and was sad that day, she vowed to find the guy and take revenge on whoever was behind that misunderstanding.

But for now...

"Second Brother, give up she doesn’t like you anymore." Qiao Li said blowing her nails.

Qiao Jun snapped his finger and Qiao Li was levitated in the air.

Qiao Li hugged Yu Holea and said in a weak voice,

"Holea I used a forbidden art to communicate with my brother’s soul fragment, which took a toll on my body."

"Li how can you be so careless?" Yu Holea scolded her but she instantly took out 5 to 6 healing talismans, energy replenishing talismans, and calming talismans and pasted them on Qiao Li.
