He wasn’t able to understand why the earth in which they lived attracted so many negative entities.

Dark Lord, AS organization...and now this Skeleton King.

The moment he landed on the death plane and fought with some demons, he saw a huge amount of skeleton army practicing.

He was surprised by their intelligence and coordination.

Was this still considered low-level monsters?

It was then that he understood why even the most powerful people were defeated...

However, the most surprising thing was Middle-level skeleton monster was able to talk, and by mistake, he heard their plan to attack the Earth.

The Middle-Level Skeleton Monster was conversing with a Huge Skeleton King about how they would find the spatial portals the next time and attack the Earth.

Qiao Jun’s first guess was that the Huge Skelton King seated on the throne was the dark lord.

However the sentence ’I will finally be able to meet my estimated Dark Lord’, blocked his suspicion.

So both the Skeleton King(Demon King) and Dark Lord were unrelated.

At first, Qiao Jun wanted to go on his way, but the mere thought of how his family and Yu Holea might die because of the Death Plane’s plan made him anxious.

So he started to devise a plan.

He was all alone, even if he had the power of god, he would at least require a few months to defeat everyone in the death plane.

Hence he decided to destroy them group by group.

Yet he got caught by one of the main forces and he was surrounded by thousands of skeleton army and demons.

The demons here weren’t like those on the earth.

The demons here were like monsters.

Even after using up all of his trump cards and machines, as well as medicine, only a few amount of the skeleton army was wiped out.

Qiao Jun looked at the monsters and a thought appeared in his mind,

"I will most likely die..."

Yet the faces of his family and Yu Holea flashed past his eyes.

Suddenly he felt unwilling.

During his entire life, to protect his family he stayed away from them, and now...he will have to die without even getting a chance to confess to his love...

No. No. I can’t die here. He thought.

A few more monsters walked in his direction and started attacking him, while other monsters surrounded him in a circle and watched the show.

Qiao Jun stood up with a trembling body and threw a punch at the incoming pink reptile-like monster.

The pink reptile-like monster crashed into a nearby rock and died.

One by one, by merely using the physical power in his body, Qiao Jun fought with them.

Gradually he lost the count and his body was covered in bruises and wounds.

With each strike, he felt a surge of adrenaline coursing through his veins, driving him forward with unwavering resolve.

As the dust settled and the bodies of defeated monsters littered the ground, Qiao Jun took a moment to catch his breath.

Beads of sweat trickled down his brow, mingling with the grime and blood that adorned his face. Despite his exhaustion, his eyes burned with an unyielding fire.

Time passed and when he finally defeated the one-third of the skeleton army and was near to victory, the atmosphere turned chilly...

A figure emerged from the shadows, towering over Qiao Jun with an aura of malevolence that sent shivers down his spine.

It was the General of the Skeleton Army, a fearsome creature clad in armor forged from the bones of fallen warriors.

His eyes gleamed with a cold, merciless light, reflecting the darkness that lurked within his soul.

"Human, I must say...you are quite powerful and persistent. Your only mistake was to enter the death plane and try to intercept our plan.

You may be powerful but not more than me. Now I shall complete you with my own hands."

Qiao Jun gritted his teeth.

In his heart, he was cursing his bad luck.

If in another situation he had met the General of Skeleton Army, he would have easily defeated him.

However now that his condition was so bad, with drained superpower, and physical power, let alone a General, he doubts that he could even defeat that f*cking white tiger from his school.

Qiao Jun looked at the General of Skeleton Amry with a cold expression and said,

"If you are so great then let me recharge myself, and then we can compare notes. What say?"

The General who was nothing but a huge skeleton with a cloak and hollow eyes yet eerie eyes, made a chuckling sound,

"You still can think so much even after getting drained of your powers, I must say you are worthy to be my opponent."

Qiao Jun stared at the General and secretly tried to recover his inner energy.

Suddenly the General stopped laughing and threw an axe at Qiao Jun.

Qiao Jun was already prepared for the sudden attack, but due to his attempt to recover his inner energy, even after dodging the attack, the axe glazed past his hand, leaving a deep cut on his hand.

"Boy, don’t you dare to play tricks on me, did I give you permission to recover your inner energy ?" The General hissed in a cold voice.

Qiao Jun clutched his hand in pain yet he didn’t show any hint of cowardice.

"We will see who will need the permission if I recover my inner energy."

The General amused started attacking Qiao Jun with a sword, aiming at the vital points of Qiao Jun.

Qiao Jun dodged but due to the excessive draining of the power, Qiao Jun failed many times.

Now he was hardly able to move.

"The game ends here." The General said and with a whoosh sound, he threw a dark purple color ball which forced Qiao Jun to crash into one of the rocks.

With no energy left, Qiao Jun fell and his breathing slowed down, and it was clear that he was on the verge of death.

Yue who was sleeping in Qiao Jun’s contracted space after getting heavily injured, sensed the danger and forcibly came out of the contracted space.

His condition was not any better than Qiao Jun.

"Master!" Yue worriedly touched Qiao Jun’s head which was burning.

Qiao Jun was half unconscious,

"Yu...Yue...b..brea...break...t...th..e...contr...a..ct..."

He didn’t want Yue to die with him. Once Yue breaks the contract, he could use his soul energy to force Yue to return to Earth.

It was important to break the contract. Otherwise, when he uses his soul power to open a portal, not only he but Yue will die too.

At least he should be alive.

Yue shook his head.

His eyes turned watery.

How could he leave his master in such a state?

"Pr...o..t...ec...t...he..r.."

Yue understood that Qiao Jun was talking about Yu Holea and his eyes turned even more teary.

"No master! Please! Please don’t talk like this! Nothing will happen to you. I won’t leave you!"

"Y...ue!" Qiao Jun used the last bit of his power to make Yue obey him.

Yue didn’t look at Qiao Jun and instead said to the General,

"Don’t you want to enter the Earth? I can open a spatial portal for you!"

"Y...ue!" Qiao Jun shouted.

"In return, leave my master." Yue continued.

The General’s interest peaked and he asked,

"Are you sure that with your small body, you can open a path for us?"

Yue nodded.

The General was silent for a while before shaking his head with an uninterested expression,

"Not worth it. We can anyways enter the earth in 3 years. And if we leave this brat, he will tell our plans to other people, so change the condition I can’t let him live."

Yue suddenly said,

"That’s easy, just erase his memory, heal him, drop him back to earth and I will open a spatial portal for you."

The General felt that the little guy’s words made sense and he started weighing the pros and cons.

"No! I...I...di..s...a..ag...reee" Qiao Jun shouted. His already slowed breathing turned even more shallow.

Yue kept on looking in the general’s direction.

"Fine. But to ensure that you don’t betray me, you will have to sign a contract with me."

Yue nodded his head.

In his mind, a plan was already forming.

He will promise to open a spatial portal, but won’t mention which place’s spatial portal.

He will send them to a disastrous place, one that will filled with monsters, so that this Skeleton Army would be destroyed completely.

In a way, it will be revenge, for how many injuries they had inflicted on his master.

As for Qiao Jun?

He would first break off the contract between them so that when he opens a spatial portal using his soul power, his master won’t get affected.
