Ghost Exorciser: Is Loved By All
Chapter 314: Jia Song

Chapter 314: Chapter 314: Jia Song

Wang Zhengsu wasn’t able to understand why they took such serious action.

She just made a mistake...why did they punish her so harshly?

So what if she took someone else’s work’s credit? Didn’t when she was an intern others took credit for her work, right?

At that time even when she was vocal about it, others warned her to keep her mouth shut.

So why? Why when she took others advantage, everyone started pointing fingers at her?

Wang Zhengsu only felt that the authorities were being too harsh on her.

Since then Wang Zhengsu harbored hatred towards 3 people.

Lu Murong, Yu Holea and Luo Bin.

Luo Bin because she didn’t help her hide her(Wang Zhengsu’s) misdeed.

Lu Murong because he didn’t try to lessen her punishment, even though she dedicated so many years of her life to the Special Forces Department.

And Yu Holea because if she was so good, she should have sensibly stepped up and said that it’s alright.

She wanted revenge and wanted to destroy them hence she endured the humiliation and remained in the special forces.

Now knowing that her enemy was getting such a good offer and that Luo Murong desperately wanted Yu Holea to be admitted to the Special Force Department, Wang Zhengsu sensed that something might be off about the situation.

Why was he being so desperate?

Other than the fact that Yu Holea’s talent was much better than another student in Jackson High School, there was nothing special about her.

It wasn’t like, geniuses like Yu Holea don’t appear.

In every batch, there is a genius like Yu Holea, but even then they would have to take tests before getting admitted to the Special Force Department.

Not to mention they aren’t given as many benefits as promised to Yu Holea.

Maybe...maybe Yu Holea seduced Luo Murong?

The moment that notion appeared in Wang Zhengsu’s mind, she shook her head.

It was impossible.

Luo Murong might be cold and controlling, but he is very loyal.

If Yu Holea had seduced Luo Murong, then Luo Bin might have opposed getting Yu Holea admitted to the Special Force.

"Miss Wang it’s better if you don’t talk unnecessarily." Luo Bin taunted her.

Luo Bin didn’t like Wang Zheng because of her nature.

Before knowing Luo Bin’s true identity, Wang Zhengsu always tried to take credit for Luo Bin’s work, which irked Luo Bin.

However, after knowing Luo Bin’s true identity, Wang Zhengsu first begged her not to reveal her misdeed, and when Wang Zhengsu knew that she wouldn’t be able to get away, she calmly accepted her punishment and started flattering Luo Bin.

From Wang Zhengsu’s eyes, Luo Bin sensed that she resented her, but because of Luo Bin’s new post as the manager, Wang Zhengsu didn’t dare to pick a fight.

Luo Murong had already told Luo Bin about Yu Holea being a skilled practitioner.

Hence like Luo Murong, Luo Bin was excited too.

Wang Zhengsu glared at Luo Bin and just when she was about to retort, a young girl with beautiful green hair, red eyes, and pale skin, sitting across from Luo Bin said,

"Even if you want to admit her, there should be a reason. Officer Luo, I expect a reason why you want to spend so many resources on a girl whose capabilities we still don’t know."

Luo Bin glared at the girl and replied in a neutral tone,

"Jia Song, there are certain matters that you are not privy to, and it’s not your place to question them. Our decisions are based on the information and assessments available to us. I suggest you focus on your assigned tasks and leave the strategic decisions to those in charge."

Jia Song the girl with beautiful green hair, narrowed her eyes and said in a cold voice,

"Luo Bin, even though you are a manager appointed by Leader Murong, I am an assistant manager too, appointed by Vice-Leader Sima."

From a normal person’s perspective, these words may have been a simple argument, however, all the officers there knew that those words weren’t as simple as they seem.

Jia Song was Vice-Leader Jia Sima’s niece. She was also the heir that the Vice-Leader was nurturing to take his place.

Jia Song was 4 years younger than Luo Bin and her talent was on par with Luo Bin.

The relationship between Leader and Vice-leader may seem cordial however beneath the surface, there were subtle power struggles and competitions.

Each leader wanted their appointed individuals in influential positions, and this dynamic extended even to their relatives.

Hence whenever Luo Bin proposed something, Jia Song would be the first one to oppose.

Luo Bin was used to Jia Song’s intervention and was even expecting her to intercept.

Luo Bin, maintaining her composure, responded,

"I acknowledge your position, Assistant Manager Jia. However, Miss Yu’s case is a bit different.

She has already proved her capabilities, and her talent is something that we lack. Once she agrees, we can declare her advantage but till then I can’t reveal details about her."

This was a reasonable request, since exposing someone’s superpower to others, even before they agree could lead to severe consequences.

All the other officers present nodded their heads.

To them, it was an acceptable decision.

Usually, Jia Song would have stopped arguing but today she seemed quite agitated about something as she said,

"Is that so? I find her very arrogant. To make us, who are senior and more powerful than her, wait...I feel as if she was looking down on the Special Force Department."

Some of the officers felt that Jia Song was right and started raising their voices,

"Indeed, why are we bending backward for someone who hasn’t even officially joined us? This is unprecedented!"

"Why should we make an exception for her? There are protocols and procedures for a reason."

Wang Zhengsu, seeing an opportunity to vent her frustrations, joined the conversation.

"Exactly! I’ve been here for years, and they never treated me this way. Why does she get special treatment?"

Luo Murong finally raised his hand to quell the rising discontent among the officers.

"Calm down, everyone."

All the raging officers calmed down instantly and even Wang Zhengsu had to purse her lips.

Luo Bin narrowed her eyes and said,

"Miss Jia, you are amazing you are expecting a person who is not even a member of Special Force to reveal her superpower."

"But if she wants to..." Jia Song was about to argue when Luo Bin again interrupted her and said,

"That’s the problem here, Miss Jia. She isn’t interested in joining the Special Force Department at all."

Jia Song, still displeased, crossed her arms.

"I just don’t trust her. And why is Leader Murong so insistent on recruiting her? There must be more to this than meets the eye."

Luo Bin raised an eyebrow.

"It’s not our place to question Leader Murong’s decisions. He has his reasons, and I’m sure he will enlighten us when the time is right.

Our duty is to follow orders and ensure the success of the Special Force Department."

Jia Song’s lips twitched but at last, she decided to stay silent.

Luo Murong looked at all the members and said,

"I want you all to trust my decision."

Just 8 words from Luo Murong was enough to make everyone calm down.

Jia Song on the other hand looked at Luo Murong’s phone and gritted her teeth.

Luo Bin who was observing Jia Song raised an eyebrow.

........

Yu Holea was lazying watching some web series when her phone rang again.

Irritated Yu Holea looked at the name and picked up the phone with reluctance.

"Hello."

"Hello boss, it’s me, Cui Wang."

"I know." Yu Holea said with a sigh.

Cui Wang heard the lazy tone of Yu Holea and instantly knew that he might have disturbed his boss’s leisure time.

Hence he said in an apologetic voice,

"I am sorry boss, but the matter which I want to report is very urgent."

"It’s alright." Yu Holea said.

She understood that the matter might really be important otherwise Cui Wang wouldn’t have called her.

"Boss, it’s like this, recently the business of horror houses has been going very well and 1/5th of the money invested to build the horror house has been recovered."

Yu Holea was surprised and happy at the same time.

She had invested a total of 120 million, and to be able to recover 1/5th of it within just 3 weeks a very amazing.

"So Boss I propose that once we have recovered all the money, we can try our luck in other cities."

Yu Holea asked,

"Will it not be risky?"

"It will be. But I have realized that the idea of a horror house with a theme is very rare. There is almost no horror house with such an idea. So it is better to monopolize before other businesses try to use our idea."

Yu Holea agreed with his idea.
