He said with a red face,

Even though she felt pity for Yu Sicong, she couldn’t stop herself from Little Jun’s antics.

She could feel the hope and eagerness and felt as if there was a lump in her throat.

Yu Holea heard Little Jun’s voice which was filled with panic,

It was then that Yu Holea realized that she was crying.

She hurriedly wiped her tears and said,

"Nothing."

Little Jun knew that if he asked again then Yu Holea may cry again.

To change her mood he asked,

"Where are we going?"

Yu Holea too didn’t want to think anything more about Yu Sicong anymore.

He was helpless too but the original host was badly hurt too.

That was the only way left.

"You are serious?" Little Jun asked in a calm voice.

But Yu Holea was able to hear disbelief in his voice.

Little Jun watched as Yu Holea channeled her energy into her legs and started running.

"Hey! Hey wait for me! Stop."

Little Jun ran behind Yu Holea with small baby steps.

At first, Yu Holea thought that he was just trying to trick her but soon she sensed that something was amiss.

Hence she stopped and walked back in his direction,

"Why are you not using your powers to catch up?"

Little Jun panted and said,

"I...I was...I was trying to save my energy."

Yu Holea narrowed her eyes and the thing that she didn’t notice before finally flashed in her mind,

"Did you lose your powers?"

"No!" Little Jun said hurriedly and instantly regretted being so fast in giving the response.

"So you have indeed lost your power." Yu Holea said with certainty but her throat choked.

Not being visible to others, to take revenge tying Yu Sicong’s shoelace, this was all clearly a sign that he lacked powers and hence he was doing something so childish.

Otherwise, if he had power he would have taken the revenge in the worst possible way.

Yet when Yu Holea hugged him, everything felt good.

As if all the sacrifice he did, was worth it.

Everything would have been perfect, just her tears were making him feel sad.

He used his small hand and patted her back,

"Really?" Yu Holea asked still hugging him.

Yu Holea didn’t show him any happy smile or act as if she believed his words, she just hugged him and started walking out of the residential area.

By the time she reached the Qiao Mansion, Little Jun’s energy had lessened a lot.

Worried about his loss of energy, Yu Holea asked,

"Is there anything I could do for you?"

Little Jun whose entire face was pale, shook his head and said,

"No. I need a different kind of energy."

Yu Holea understood and her expression turned grim.

Just as she was wondering what she should do, she saw some wandering ghosts on the streets.

Suddenly an idea appeared in her mind and she asked,

"You want soul energy, right?"

"Hm."

"What if I could purify evil spirits and feed them to you?" Yu Holea asked with an expectant expression.

"You don’t need to purify them." Little Jun explained.

"Huh?"

"I feed on evil spirits, demons, and ghosts. Not on innocent souls. They can’t increase my cultivation or power." Little Jun explained and Yu Holea suddenly felt relieved.

Little Jun teased her by asking,

"Hey, what were you thinking? You didn’t think that I directly suck out the soul and eat them, regardless of their karma, right?"
