When one of the servants opened the door, Luo Murong showed his identity card and asked him to call Jiang Ming.

Even though both doctors and police officers were respectable professions he still didn’t want them to visit his house especially when it was so late at night.

"I don’t know." The servant replied.

Jiang Ming could only walk to the living room at the fastest pace.

Kang Xin was also awake by now and followed behind him.

When Jiang Ming reached the living room, Luo Murong who was sitting on one of the sofas stood up and said,

"Mr. Jiang it’s nice to meet you."

Jiang Ming muttered in his heart,

"I wish I could say the same."

Then he said with a smile,

"Yes me too, Mr..."

"Luo Murong."

"Mr. Luo." Jiang Ming said.

Luo Murong sensed Jiang Ming’s discomfort and said,

"Then I won’t beat around the bush, the reason why I am here is because my car broke down and I don’t have a place to stay so if you don’t mind, could you please let me stay here with you."

He emphasized the last 2 words,’ with you’ indicating that he wanted to share a room with Jiang Ming.

His reasons were clearly a lie, since the residential area in which Jiang Mansion was, was so vast that it was better to drive to the nearby police station than to go to Jiang Mansion which was even further away.

Also, his request to share a room with Jiang Ming was very unreasonable.

Yet everyone present there didn’t feel that Luo Murong’s request was too much and agreed easily.

"Okay, no problem. I will go and sleep in the guest room." Kang Xi said.

"I will arrange an extra pillow and blanket." Jiang Ming said.

Saying so he left.

Luo Murong was satisfied by the outcome and nodded.

"Are you going to come out on your own or do I need to invite you first?"
