Yu Sicong started running behind them and said loudly,

"Goodbye, brother!"

However Yu Holea just shook her head, while the black figure answered him instead,

"Cancel all tomorrow’s meetings."

Yu Sicong thought about Xia Tao’s behavior and was about instructing his assistant to deal with her but he suddenly remembered that it was just a dream and hence hung up the call.

Suddenly he remembered the severance letter and Yu Sicong’s eyes flashed.

He stood up and went to his locker, after opening it, he took out the letter and burned it.

He also called his assistant and asked him to retrieve the real custody papers.

The paper which they gave Yu Holea at that time was fake.

After every arrangement was made Yu Siocng sat in his seat and muttered to himself,

"Holea, I am sorry...I am sorry that brother disappointed you so much!"

Yu Holea who has crossed half of the distance, suddenly felt a pain in her heart.

Liu Yiling sighed and shook her head, "You really shouldn’t play pranks in a place like this. The atmosphere is already eerie enough."

Zhou Meilin tried to defend her prank,

"But it did add to the spooky atmosphere, right?"

Xia Meng groaned,

"Spooky atmosphere, my foot! It was a stupid prank, and we shouldn’t be wasting time here."

Zhou Susu ignored them and checked her camera to see whether their reaction was recorded or not.

But since there was too much fog she wasn’t able to see anything and said loudly,

"Hey! Stop the fog machine!"

However, no one answered her.

Seeing this, Xia Meng mocked her,

"Oh! You hired the person to do all of this but now he is not listening to your orders. How pitiful."

Zhang Meilin didn’t dare to say anything.

On the other hand, when Xia Meng saw that Zhang Meilin didn’t say anything in return he just snorted.

Jiang Lei looked at the dense fog and said,

"Meilin, if you have some other prank, do it later. First, ask the guy to stop releasing fog."

Zhang Meilin frowned and said,

"There is no more prank but that guy isn’t listening to me! HEY! Turn off the fog machine."

But the fog didn’t stop and there was a point at which no one was able to see anything.

Xia Meng said with a dissatisfied expression,

"Stop it, it’s not funny anymore."

Liu Yiling looked around and said in a concerned voice,

"I think this is not a part of the plan."

"Exactly!" Zhang Meilin said.

Suddenly someone’s scream sounded.

But since there was fog everywhere, it was difficult to see who exactly was screaming.

Everyone started panicking but Xia Meng’s voice sounded,

"Don’t move, don’t run away. Try to hold the hand of the person nearest to you."

Feeling that this plan was feasible, everyone started waving their hands and soon all of them formed a circle.

As time passed, the fog slowly vanished.

When they saw each other everyone was happy.

Zhang Meilin however noticed that Ling Na was missing and asked,

"Where Ling Na?"

"Yeah! Where is she!"

"And what about Zhou Kun? Where is he?"

The group immediately started looking around, calling out for Ling Na and Zhou Kun, but there was no response.

Anxiety gripped their hearts as they realized that Ling Na and Zhou Kun were nowhere to be found.

"Stay calm, everyone," Liu Yiling said, trying to steady her voice.

"Ling Na and Zhou Kun might have just gotten separated from us in the fog. We need to retrace our steps and find her. Please don’t panic."

Xia Meng added,

"Splitting up is not a good idea in this situation. Let’s stay together and search for her methodically."
