Chapter 44: Power up!

Andrea’s moans were helplessly suppressed as Reo, relentless and focused, finally pushed himself deep inside her. The night stretched endlessly, filled with whispered names, clashing breath, and raw intensity. Neither of them wasted a second like two starving souls indulging in ecstasy.

Andrea, a radiant goddess of passion, was reduced to a trembling, breathless mess beneath him. Her body writhed with each movement, each caress, each kiss that burned hotter than the last. Her nails clawed into his back, her voice stifled by his lips, yet her desire only grew. Reo, on the other hand, moved like a man possessed...

And so the night passed, slow and relentless When the first rays of morning broke through the balcony curtains, the room smelled faintly of sweat, heat, and something far more divine.

Reo sat up on the edge of the bed, body covered in faint scratches and marks, but his mind clear.

He opened the system interface in silence

Andrea lay nearby, dazed and completely drained, her entire body sore and aching in places she didn’t know could ache. She groaned softly as she tried to stretch, wincing at every slight movement.

"...You beast..." she muttered, voice raspy but teasing, reaching out and giving Reo a pinch on the cheek. "Can’t you slow down when I ask you to?"

She turned her head away quickly, her flushed face hidden beneath a curtain of golden hair. The memories from last night made her cheeks burn.

Reo only gave her a sideways glance and shrugged, too focused on what came next. He leaned back, letting the system interface fade as he poured all 350 points straight into Agility without hesitation.

In an instant, a surge of power coursed through him. His muscles tensed, and the air around him felt lighter, clearer. Moving from F+ to E- was a leap far greater than numbers could describe. His whole body felt feather-light, like he could vanish with a breath.

He closed his eyes and sat cross-legged on the floor, drawing out the skill scroll he had obtained the day before. While Andrea hobbled off to the bathroom, he activated the scroll silently. The parchment disintegrated into glowing light and rushed into his forehead, embedding its knowledge directly into his mind.

Bone Armor.

A defensive skill that summoned a skeletal shell to shield his body from harm. The downside It amplified one’s emotional response and could be easily Provoked instability in focus. But Reo had enough mental discipline to manage.

"Good," he muttered. "My biggest weakness is defense... this should cover it."

He wasn’t satisfied with just knowing it. He wanted to test it.

He summoned a clone beside him—identical in every way, yet slightly translucent, like a faded mirror. Reo nodded toward it, giving it a silent command.

"Use Bone Armor."

The clone’s eyes flickered with system light. Slowly, bone-like structures began forming over its body white plates, almost like exoskeleton armor. It wasn’t thick, and the plates looked brittle, but this was just the Bad stage.

Reo stepped forward and struck it with a punch—around 60% of his full force. The bones cracked visibly, absorbing most of the impact. The clone remained unharmed.

"Not bad," Reo muttered. "If I can strengthen the mastery... this will be solid."

He dismissed the clone and stood up, testing his new agility.

Vanishing from one corner of the room to the next in a blink, Reo moved so quickly that his own body couldn’t keep up with the momentum. A single punch launched him across the room like a blur, and he reappeared on the balcony with a boom, the railing creaking from the force.

The punch he released toward the open air left a shockwave in its wake. A normal F rank wouldn’t even see it coming. Based on his calculations, it could easily injure someone at E- level now.

"Speed really is power," he whispered.

Just then, the door burst open.

Three women entered the room one after the other—Clara, Althea, and Andrea, freshly bathed and wrapped in a towel that hugged her curves like it was tailored by the heavens.

Andrea blinked in confusion, seeing Clara march inside. Her long Silver hair was tied behind her, and her gaze immediately narrowed at Reo.

Althea followed with a cold expression, arms crossed, her icy-blue eyes scanning the room.

Clara Expressionless, placing a hand on her hip. "Reo Can we have a Spar?" She said expressionless.
