Chapter 174: 123 Suture_2

Fang Zhixing fell silent, sighing, "When a person willingly degenerates into a demon, not even the gods or Buddhas can save them."

"Gods or Buddhas?"

Sun Gongchang burst into raucous laughter, tearing off his clothes, shaking his snow-white, graceful body, and proudly declared, "What do you understand? Let me tell you, I don’t see myself as a demon. Take a good look at me, what’s the difference between me, now capable of anything, and gods or Buddhas?"

Fang Zhixing gripped his bow and arrows, sneering, "If you’re a god or Buddha, then today I shall meet gods and slay gods, meet Buddhas and slay Buddhas."

Whoosh!

Before his words fell, an arrow had already been shot out violently, passing through the main gate and hitting the third aunt’s brow precisely.

The third aunt fell backward, and as her back was mere inches from the ground, she suddenly stopped.

The third aunt’s body writhed, and rapid cracking sounds emerged from within her. Her beautiful figure swiftly transformed into a young man with a chest full of thick hair, slowly standing up.

Seeing this, Fang Zhixing raised an eyebrow and asked, "Since last night until now, how many people have you eaten?"

Sun Gongchang sneered hideously and said, "Haven’t you noticed how quiet your neighbors are?"

Understanding dawned on Fang Zhixing, who immediately drew his bow and released more arrows.

Whoosh whoosh whoosh!

Three arrows fired in quick succession!

Almost at the same time, thick grey fog billowed out from Sun Gongchang’s body, surging and spreading out rapidly.

In the blink of an eye, he was engulfed by the grey mist, vanishing from sight.

The three arrows flashed into the fog, sinking without trace or response.

Witnessing this, Fang Zhixing retraced his steps rapidly.

Suddenly, he noticed Huang Dashun still foolishly standing at the doorway and immediately yelled, "Hurry and notify Luo Kezhao, Ding Zhigang, and Lv Peipei. Tell them that a demon lurks among the infantry and to be cautious."

"...Oh, right!"

Huang Dashun was jolted to his senses from the immense shock, turned around, and bolted.

The grey fog filled the air, expanding quickly to cover a hundred-meter radius before slowly coming to a stop.

Fang Zhixing tapped the tip of his foot and leaped atop the courtyard wall, bow drawn and ready.

Soon enough, the grey mist began to dissipate slowly, and visibility cleared once more.

At this moment, Fang Zhixing’s pupils drastically constricted.

He saw, in the courtyard, the silhouette of a ferocious pieced-together monster.

It stood on two legs, nearly nine meters tall.

Its right arm was a huge iron-colored wing, each feather seemingly made of steel. Spread out, they looked like a vast flag waving in the wind.

The left arm consisted of three intertwined tentacles, thick and long, hanging from the shoulder to the ground and constantly moving.

The pieced-together monster also had a swollen head, with small eyes squinting to slits and two protruding canines dripping with saliva.

Its face and scalp were covered in bumps, similar to those found on toads—utterly hideous and disgusting.

The scene was enough to send chills down one’s spine.

"Damn, a tentacle monster!"

Xigou leaped out, his face full of morbid curiosity.

He had a special fondness for tentacles.

He once had a girlfriend who often praised his nimble fingers for making her feel very comfortable, like a tentacle monster.

Whoosh!

An arrow burst forth with cold precision.

Fang Zhixing showed no hesitation in his attack.

Sun Gongchang stood still, his right iron wing flapping swiftly, circularly shielding his front.

Clang!

The arrow struck the iron wing, emitting a piercing clang and getting stuck.

Fang Zhixing took a closer look and saw that where the arrow hit, not a single drop of blood seeped out.

"Hehehe, Fang Zhixing, it seems my wing has the upper hand," Sun Gongchang suddenly flapped his wing, shaking off the arrow while kicking up a gust of wind that sent dust flying.

Unperturbed, Fang Zhixing continued to shoot arrows, releasing three per second with a rapid, uninterrupted flow, like a machine gun firing incessantly.

Seeing this, Sun Gongchang lifted his iron wing to protect himself from the incoming arrows.

After all, there was a limited number of arrows, and they would soon run out.

The next moment, Sun Gongchang’s head suddenly jolted forward!

An arrow had lodged into the back of his head, penetrating below the skull with blood gushing out.

"Eh?!"

Surprised by the arrow coming from behind, Sun Gongchang turned his head, only to see two more arrows, one from the left and one from the right, targeting him.

A bolt hit his temple, and another even more ruthless one buried itself in his ear.

"The arrow, it turned?!"

Sun Gongchang finally realized there was no one else around, only Fang Zhixing shooting arrows.

But Fang Zhixing’s archery was indeed unbelievable.

"I cannot just wait here to die."

Sun Gongchang stepped forward with a boom, his robust right leg smashing through the door.

He had calculated the distance and raised his left arm, three tentacles whipping out like lashes.

Fang Zhixing was prepared. With a stomp of his foot, he somersaulted into the air and landed on a nearby tree.

His feet pressed against the trunk, he shot out three arrows in succession and, without a pause, stomped again to leave his original spot.

Almost in the next instant, a tentacle struck down, naturally to no avail.

Fang Zhixing moved swiftly between the surrounding buildings and trees, continually changing his position.

"Jumping up and down, are you a monkey?"

Sun Gongchang raged furiously. In just this short while, several more arrows had found their way into his body.

His iron-colored wings, though exceptionally hard, could only protect half his body.

And Fang Zhixing shot arrows from all angles without any dead zone, his archery sharp to the extreme—truly impossible to defend against.

"You think you’re the only one who can shoot arrows?"

Sun Gongchang suddenly retreated three steps, pulling back a bit of distance, and fiercely swung his iron-colored wings.

Fang Zhixing’s gaze flickered and he immediately jumped into an alley.

Midair, three cold lights broke the sky and struck the wall with the rumble of cannon fire.

Then, the wall crumbled with a roar.

Fang Zhixing looked carefully and saw three rigid iron-colored feathers, over a meter long, embedded diagonally in the ground like arrows amidst the rubble.

He turned his head to look up.

Just in time to see Sun Gongchang swing his wings for the second time.

[Burst Skill: Dynamic Vision]

In a flash, the whole world seemed to slow down by several times.

Fang Zhixing could then clearly see three iron-colored feathers detach from Sun Gongchang’s wings and hurtle towards him at incredible speed.

Understanding dawned in Fang Zhixing’s mind; he activated Blood Shadow Step and his body turned into a crimson streak, dashing out of the alley.

Boom, boom, boom!

The alley turned into ruins amidst the barrage, with dust and smoke rising everywhere.

Fang Zhixing flipped over a wall and before he could even catch his breath, a shadow loomed over his head.

Three tentacles slammed down on him with a thunderous roar, shaking the earth violently and causing walls to collapse and houses to crumble.

Whoosh!

Fang Zhixing burst from the dust and smoke, hoisting his body onto the rooftop.

He leaned to the side, ducked his head, and let loose two arrows!

With that, his Arrow Bag was completely empty.

Fang Zhixing discarded the Black Rosewood Bow and looked coldly at the towering Sun Gongchang.

At this moment, Sun Gongchang had six arrows stuck in his head, eleven in his back, and many more in his legs, his body dripping with blood.

"Heh heh, out of arrows?"

Sun Gongchang laughed madly, flapped his wings, and shot out four iron-colored feathers.

Fang Zhixing’s form flickered, turning into a blood line as he suddenly charged straight at Sun Gongchang.

In the next moment, three iron-colored feathers landed behind him, exploding into clouds of dust.

Fang Zhixing rushed forward swiftly, grasping the Wind Listening Blade, angled towards the ground as he rapidly closed in on Sun Gongchang.

"Come on, let me devour you, and we will merge into one."

Sun Gongchang raised his iron-colored wings and stabbed furiously towards the ground, conjuring a series of afterimages in mid-air that looked like countless swords descending from the heavens.

Yet, Fang Zhixing’s expression was utterly calm as he continued his straight trajectory forward.

"Xigou, attack!"

A voice transmitted, signaling Xigou who was lying in wait at a corner, crouched and ready to spring.

Two Shadow Clones emerged, followed by the activation of the Bloodline Burst Skill, their bodies surging in size dramatically.

In an instant, two Maned Wolves over one and a half meters tall appeared.

Just like that, Xigou had sacrificed two lives!

The Maned Wolves dashed swiftly under Sun Gongchang, one from the left and one from the right, leaping towards his ankles to bite and tear.
