Lastly and most importantly, Sun Family only sent fifteen people for such a massive project’s handover, which was absolutely illogical.

After receiving the feedback from his people, Lu Yanchuan immediately had Yan Xiyu send a team to scout the area, and he was very glad he did.

"Are you sure?"

"Absolutely certain, our people almost got caught. That supposed-to-be-abandoned harbor is now filled with ships. Sun Family is officially saying they’re using maritime transport for construction materials, but actually, they are smuggling using this old harbor!"

Yan Xiyu not only relayed the results to Lu Yanchuan but also provided evidence with photos, videos, and even some of the smuggled products.

"These items were hidden in containers that were supposed to carry building materials; if it weren’t for overhearing their conversation, our people wouldn’t have discovered it."

Luck is also a form of capability, Lu Yanchuan thought, looking at the tightly wrapped small cube in his hand. Without opening it, he knew what was inside.

"These pieces of evidence aren’t sufficient to prove Sun Family’s involvement in smuggling; we need to gather more concrete evidence."

Qiao Yi also felt that this evidence alone wouldn’t be enough to take down Sun Group, even she would have numerous ways to exonerate herself facing such evidence.

"I’ve got it!"

Qiao Yi slapped her thigh and hurriedly ran to the study to grab a file, then rushed back to the living room and stuffed the document into Lu Yanchuan’s hands.

"Andy just got a new project, and she asked if I was interested in joining her. If I collaborate with her on this, wouldn’t it give me a chance to look for evidence at Sun Group?"

"No, it’s too risky."

Lu Yanchuan rejected the idea immediately, even if it meant giving up on taking down Sun Group; he could not let Qiao Yi take that risk.
