Chapter 44:Prepare For Another Wedding

Chapter 44: 44:Prepare For Another Wedding

Freya accompanied a new team. This was a personal request task and they needed someone as strong as Freya from Purple hyacinth.

After a round of catching up and exchanging pleasantries,"Lord Roland, do you want to join us on a mission?"

"This time we’ve taken on a five-star mission near this region, with a reward of over 10,000 gold coins..."

The talkative muscle haired mummy Ada rambled on.

Looking into Roland’ eyes, there was a glimmer of anticipation.

"Is it true? You dare to take on a five-star mission!"Rolan muttered in shock.Since it was a 5-Star mission it might be a bit dangerous.

Even the mission of hunting Saber Tooth tiger was designated as 4 Star by Adventure Guild. However, you have to note that both them and Roland were unaware of the true might of the beast.

Upon hearing this, Roland turned to look at Freya surprised..

He had also heard about the difficulty rating system for missions from the Adventurer’s Association.

A five-star mission was rated as a task that could only be completed by more than three seventh-tier advanced extraordinaries.

And it was clear that the strength of the Purple Hyacinth Adventure Team did not meet this standard.Rushing to complete this mission could very well result in a total wipeout.

He didn’t want them to die like that after all they had a good relationship.

Faced with Roland’ worried gaze, Freya’s heart warmed, and she nodded, "It’s true! However, Ada and I have already broken through to the seventh tier."

"And this mission is an investigation mission. Although we need to go to the middle of the Warcraft Mountains, as long as we are careful, there shouldn’t be much of a problem."

"That’s good!"

After thinking for a moment, Roland still had some concerns and spoke seriously, "How about I go with you?"

"No need!"

Without hesitation, Freya immediately refused.

Although she knew that Roland joining the team would greatly enhance their strength and greatly increase the chances of completing the mission, she couldn’t be so selfish.

Roland was a nobleman with his own territory and a wife and children to protect.

"..."

Understanding Freya Meaning, Roland no longer brought up the matter.

He hadn’t considered this before.

After chatting for a while,Freya prepared to say goodbye to Roland and set off with the team to carry out the mission.

Before leaving,Freya left a exotic herbs for Roland.

"I haven’t been able to visit quite often so take this as a gift for being a father and congratulations for giving birth to few healthy young ones."

"Thank You!I appreciate it,"Roland chucked and took the grass with an admiring gaze to have a feel.

This is a rather rare wind attribute extraordinary plant.

After consuming it, not only can it greatly enhance physical agility, but it can also greatly increase the wind energy affinity within the body.

Such a precious thing, Roland naturally cannot accept it and for a moment immediately wanted to return it.

However,Freya had obviously anticipated Roland’ reaction.

After putting down the item, she directly ran away with her teammates.

Watching Freya and the others quickly disappear, Roland also felt very helpless.

There’s no way.

He could only accept this reward hoping to plant and cultivate such exotic herbs.

.....

Three months later.

Roland’ several wives have all improved their physical qualities to the level comparable to a 2nd rank Knight and have reached Beginner Master rank.

Of course.

This did not come without a cost.

For this, Roland spent tens of thousands of gold coins on body-strengthening potions. He sold rights and had to do many things to get those merchants and finally managed to establish a connection.

The negotiations fail however,Roan manages to find a backdoor to black market that sells stolen goods at less than 10% of cost.

After ensuring that nothing was wrong,he brought it out.

And to reach a stronger level, the required potions are even more expensive. Each one costs tens of thousands of gold coins.

Even with Roland’s money-making machine, the brewery, he can’t afford such luxury items.

There’s no way to further enhance the physical qualities of his wives.

"I should look for an alchemist. Instead of buying, it’s to find one."

Feeling the weight over his shoulder, he finally began the thing he had long awaited for, which was marrying Murphy.

It’s not that he wasn’t willing, rather as someone who was reaching 30,marrying someone at 18 felt a bit odd as an 18 year old is considered a baby herself and taking care of children didn’t bore well with him but now that she was reaching 21,and has matured a lot.

Murphy had already lost hope of marrying Roland and was dedicating herself to look at the barony and helping in demonstration.

.......

Murphy woke up to the soft light filtering through her window, the clock striking 6 AM. She stretched, feeling the warmth of the blankets before reluctantly pushing them aside. Today was just another day or so she thought.

She quickly washed her face, splashing cold water to invigorate herself. As she looked in the mirror, she took a moment to appreciate her reflection. Her long, dark hair framed her face, contrasting with her warm, sun-kissed skin.

She was proud of her resilience, having navigated the complexities of life in the manor with grace.

Stepping out into the corridor, she joined the flow of the house. The air was fresh, filled with the aroma of breakfast wafting from the dining room. Murphy relish these moments of routine, even if they were filled with the challenges of living among so many women vying for Roland’s attention.

As she walked, she spotted Nora, Roland’s first daughter, her arms cradling the tiny newborn, Hela. Accompanied by Priya, they moved with a soft grace that made Murphy smile.

"Auntie, good morning!" Nora chirped, her eyes sparkling with joy.

"Good morning, Nora. You look lovely as usual," Murphy replied, her heart warming at the sight of the young girl’s enthusiasm.

"What about my tiny sister?" Nora asked, excitement bubbling in her voice as she held a small girl in her arms.

"She too looks as blessed as you," Murphy smiled, giving Priya a respectful nod. They exchanged warm greetings, and together they entered the dining room.

Inside she saw handsome individuals gathered around the table, laughter and chatter filling the air.

At the end of the table sat Roland, his long white hair catching the light, a gentle smile on his face. He was more handsome than ever, a fact that stirred a mix of admiration and jealousy among the wives.

Every time Roland’s wives sneaked into the village they would hear girls talking about Roland making them jealous after which they would get back to Roland.

Still, they have to agree...Their husband was really splending, good and a gentleman.

But this gentleman was a wolf in sheep’s clothing at night.A fact, you could tell on seeing his wives who soon entered with pale expressions, dark circles, and red spots on his neck.

Leila’s condition was worse as she limped a bit that made Janet glare at Roland who just averted his gaze.

As she took her seat, she noted the weary eyes of Roland’s other wives. They looked tired, clearly having faced another demanding night with him

Murphy felt a familiar unease settle in her stomach; she was not the only one sharing his affections.

Just then, Roland turned his attention to the entrance, spotting Murphy. " Murphy, come take your seat. Priya, you don’t have to work so hard. You’re not a maid anymore. "

"Husband, if I don’t oversee things, the house might get out of order," Priya replied, puffing her cheeks adorably.

Murphy nodded, settling into her place as the other wives filtered in, some still bleary-eyed. It was evident to her that many of them had been tormented by Roland’s relentless energy the night before.

As the banter continued, Janet, Jess, and Leila greeted her warmly, their expressions brightening the table.

" Murphy! Good to see you up so early, " Jess said, her voice laced with warmth.

"Must be nice to have a calm morning," Leila added, a teasing smile on her lips.

Just as laughter filled the room, Roland cleared his throat, drawing everyone’s attention. A mischievous glint in his eyes hinted at something important.

"I’m going to marry again within a month. "

Murphy’s hands froze, her fork hovering mid-air. The room fell silent, eyes wide with shock.
