Chen Afu flushed and turned her face away.

While he was hesitating and about to lower his head, a bird song suddenly awakened him. Looking up, a little swallow was staring at him from a tree branch. In the bird’s eyes was a mixture of disdain and urgency. It was Yanzi, Jin Bao, the one that his daughter liked.

Chu Lingxuan looked at the bird’s expression, and his previous poetic mood was shattered, so he stared back at it, dumbfounded.

Jin Yanzi seemed even more displeased. It glared and began scolding loudly, "Chirp, chirp, chirp..."

Chen Afu understood what was meant and laughed out loud. It said, "Aren’t you a man? I’ve been backing you so much, but you turned out to be all talk. Seeing that Chen Afu immediately stopped laughing and held back her laughter, Chu Lingxuan became restless again. Just as he was about to lean down to kiss her cheek, Chu Hanyan’s voice came from behind, "Daddy, auntie, what are you doing? Are you playing hide-and-seek?"

Chu Lingxuan quickly let go of Chen Afu’s hand and calmly stood upright. As he looked back, Chu Hanyan, Dabao, and Chu Lingzhi were standing under the banana trees watching them.

Chen Afu glanced at the crestfallen Chu Lingxuan. Poor guy, always interrupted when trying to make a little move.

She walked over with a smile, holding Ms. Chu’s hand, and said, "Yes, we were planning to hide quietly and see if sister could find us. But sister found us before we could hide well."

Hearing this, Chu Hanyan was overjoyed and said, "Brother is very capable. He told sister to come here to find you." She immediately sold out Dabao.
