Chapter 1556: Chapter 1117: But There Are No Stars in the Daytime

"Oh, it seems the Spark of Wisdom has some level, actually able to guess the reason?" Negriss said in surprise.

Xisluo said with confusion, "Our Spark of Wisdom certainly has merit, but what do you mean by guessing the reason? Were things really thrown into the Sun to cause the Light Disaster? Are you sure? Have you verified it?"

Negriss shook his head, "Haven’t verified it, but Ange said it’s possible."

"Haha, just because Ange said it? How can you prove it without verification? This is a very serious academic issue." Xisluo scoffed.

"Haha." Negriss also chuckled, "You don’t know what the Seven Forces Unification is... Forget it, you wouldn’t understand even if I told you."

What is Ange? The Great Unity of Seven Forces, Origin of the Void. Even if he doesn’t speak, but anything he has uttered is the ultimate truth of the Void.

Although at the time, Ange said ’I don’t know,’ but the fact that he could mention a way to cause a Light Disaster greatly suggests that’s how others are doing it.

A loud voice retorted from the Teleportation Array: "Marino, because your argument is too absurd and ignores the efforts and diligence of all of us astrologers, we astrologers are distributed across all major planes, even in the Friel Empire, constantly monitoring the Sun. If someone could throw something in there, we would have discovered it long ago, do we need you to say this?"

At that moment, a timid voice that didn’t belong to either party spoke up, "Uh, aren’t you astrologers? But there are no stars during the day."

There was a period of indescribable silence in the Teleportation Array, and after a long pause, the voice of an astrologer finally spoke up, "Whose kid is this? Can the adults please watch over him and not let him disrupt the meeting?"

The previously timid voice suddenly became loud and fierce, "You old geezer, who are you calling a kid? I’m asking because I don’t understand, why the snarky tone? If you’re so competent, open the teleport and I’ll come over and pummel you, um... um... um..."

It sounded like someone’s mouth was covered and they were pulled away, replaced by a man’s voice saying, "Sorry, sorry."

Anthony and Negriss exchanged a bewildered glance, "How could they be here?"

"Yeah, shouldn’t they be protecting their home? And that astrologer had the nerve to call them a child, if their true identity was revealed, it’d scare him to death."

Xisluo said astonished, "You know them? What is their identity?"

"The Friel Queen and the Godslayer," Anthony said. He had interacted with those two voices before and instantly recognized who they were.

"How could that be possible? Did they dare come into the Alliance’s territory?" Xisluo was similarly shocked.

The Teleportation Array has distance limitations. To travel from the main plane of the Friel Empire to the Court of Rio, it requires five or six transits, but while people can transit, the teleportation of a meeting can’t.

This means that for the Friel Queen and the Godslayer to access the meeting, they must be in the Divine Light Alliance, or even near the Court of Rio.

Oh dear, the monarch of an enemy country and a Godslayer infiltrating near the Court of Rio, if this gets out, it would terrify everyone. The astrologer who called them a child might not even know who he’s offended, and he could be slaughtered as a divine being.

The astrologer, oblivious to whom he had offended, snorted proudly and continued to speak, "We, the Astrologers’ Alliance, have been continuously observing the Sun and have never seen anything thrown in. If something could cause a solar phenomenon, it must be a large object, so it’s absolutely impossible for it to be your suggested cause."

The member referred to as Marino said, "Do you dare to use the reputation of the Astrologers’ Alliance to guarantee that?"

"Of course I can. I, Roger Musjislav, guarantee with the reputation of the Astrologers’ Alliance that everything I said is true, with no lies or falsehoods," Astrologer Roger proclaimed loudly.

"Very well, then I, Marino, am also willing to use my own reputation to guarantee that what I say is true, with no lies or falsehoods. Then, removing all factors, the truth can be only one!" Marino declared loudly, "What is thrown in is something you can’t see."

Negriss blinked, contemplating something, looked at Anthony in shock, and Anthony, also having realized something, frowned.

"Marino, you’ve gone mad, tempted by demons, you’re too eager for success. Face reality, no one’s throwing things into the Sun; your argument is as absurd as someone drying the ocean with a spoon," Roger angrily said.

"Hahaha, all I know is that, after excluding the most unlikely clues, the remaining must be the truth, no matter how absurd. Since you can’t detect something being thrown into the Sun, then what is thrown is something you can’t detect, like Faith Elemental Force!"

"Now, I’ll prove it to you. I’ve already collected a large amount of Faith Elemental Force, ready to throw into the Sun so that you can verify if the Light Disaster changes." Marino declared loudly.

Negriss immediately panicked and said urgently, "We can’t let him do this, stop him. If the Light Disaster intensifies again, the World Tree may not be able to contain it."

Others might not know the cause of the Light Disaster, but Negriss dared to assert that someone indeed threw something inside because Ange had said so, and her faith in Ange was greater than even in herself.

And Faith Elemental Force was precisely what they had just guessed. Of course, it might not be Faith Elemental Force, it could be Soul Flame or Chaos Mist, or something like that. It was a force of a mental level, which is why it couldn’t be detected.

If Marino throws Faith Elemental Force inside, it will certainly cause optical anomalies. The solar spectrum is very complex; whether it intensifies or dims, it would be a disaster.

Anthony nodded, "The teleportation markers are hidden, not to mention coordinates, so we can’t locate him."

"What should we do?" Negriss asked.

"We’ll need to lure him out. You should speak using the title of Lord of Omniscience. Say this and that to him," Anthony quickly instructed.

Negriss immediately tuned in and, with a slightly excited tone, said, "Marino, I am the Lord of Omniscience. I support you, and I believe the same. Someone threw something into the Sun, but we can’t verify it. I am glad you’re planning this. How much Faith Elemental Force do you plan to throw?"

"I have some broken God Status fragments. Several rogue gods wandered into my territory, and I killed them. I’ll send you their Divine Fragments and Faith Elemental Force to throw into the Sun as well," Negriss said.

Unexpectedly, the first response came not from Marino but from the Friel Queen, who exclaimed in shock, "What? The rogue gods were killed by you? Is one of them a God of Farming and a rabbit?"

Anthony’s eyes lit up, immediately nodding at Negriss.

Negriss replied, "That’s correct, there is a God of Farming and a rabbit. Do you know them?"

"I... you... I... um um um..." The Friel Queen shouted frantically twice before being silenced and dragged away again.

The Friel Queen’s shout inadvertently aided the cause. Originally, Marino was puzzled about where the rogue gods came from. Now, no longer in doubt, he quickly asked, "Alright, how do I get them?"

Negriss tentatively said, "Will you send someone to the Sea of Omniscience to get them?"

This method further eased Marino’s last bit of concern, "Alright, I’ll immediately send someone to pick them up."

The silver coin swiftly teleported back to the Sea of Omniscience, and shortly after, Marino’s emissary arrived. After identity verification, the silver coin, through Coasney, handed over a box containing a pile of Divine Fragments and Holy Crystals.

After verifying that the fragments were irreparably broken, the emissary left two attendants behind while he took the box into the Teleportation Array, teleporting away first, then the two attendants followed.

The entire process was professional, efficient, and safe, almost eliminating the possibility of being tracked.

Nonetheless, some methods were beyond their experience. When the Divine Fragments and Holy Crystals arrived in front of Marino, they shattered instantly, merging into a mass, from which a hand emerged.

Marino immediately activated a prohibition, but by then, scales were already rippling, causing the entire space to slow down, making it all too late.

The God Status gradually emerged a creature covered in scales who slowly approached Marino and lifted him up by the neck.
