Foreign Land Reclamation By a Vegetable-growing Skeleton
Chapter 1321 - Chapter 1321 Chapter 882 Someone Chanted Its Divine Name

Chapter 1321: Chapter 882: Someone Chanted Its Divine Name Chapter 1321: Chapter 882: Someone Chanted Its Divine Name Not only had Little Bone not seen an Elf, but for tens of thousands of years, it hadn’t encountered any intelligent creatures, nor even large animals.

Negris knew all too well how this desert had formed – it was created by Ange using Chaos Mist, an isolated and barren world cut off from the outside.

Then Ange used various fertilizers, bird droppings, peat, and the like for local improvements, planted some trees, and used their life force to stimulate the growth of a World Tree, continually refining the entire desert.

But after all, with such limited time, Ange couldn’t manage to establish a complete food chain, so he had Little Bone plant trees. Hence, apart from trees, there were only some small animals and insects here, no large creatures or intelligent beings.

Tens of thousands of years weren’t enough for small animals to evolve into large ones, much less to develop intelligence. The World Tree hadn’t become sentient and couldn’t create Elves, so this Elf must have come from outside.

Realizing this, Little Bone whooshed down from the tree and drifted obliquely towards where the Elf was. Its skeletal frame was as light as a feather, floating forward elegantly in the breeze.

Negris exclaimed, “Pollination magic? Pfft, is this pollination magic? Did Ange teach you this? Can pollination magic even be used like that?”

The pollination magic created a giant hand of wind, carrying Little Bone as it floated over.

The sight of a flying skeleton caused the Elf’s shock and panic to double. It screamed, “It can… it can fly, it can fly! That skeleton can fly; that brick can fly. They’re coming this way, be on guard, ah–”

While screaming, the Elf slid down from the tree, and probably due to panic, it lost its grip and fell halfway through.

By the time Little Bone and Negris flew above that tree, they saw a fully alert adventure team. Why an adventure team? Because the badge on their chests said so.

“Why would the ‘True Research Group’ be discussing this… Land Forbidden to Gods adventure team? So, you really were using a simulated magic formation to create a world, huh?” Negris muttered to himself.

Ange wasn’t the kind who could create new worlds–just look at the desert he made; it couldn’t sustain itself.

A normal forest would continually expand as long as the climate was suitable and there was enough water. Yet, this forest had been arduously planted by Little Bone over thirty-six thousand years.

And it was only possible with a great deal of attention from Ange. If Little Bone were just an ordinary Silver Skeleton, it would have decayed long ago.

A desert where Ange could project power, but what about the entire world? If it couldn’t reach a state of balance and self-sustenance, it would quickly collapse, unable to form a proper world.

Before, Negris didn’t know how Ange managed to achieve balance, but now it did – by moving things from the outside world into this one, just like a simulated magic formation.

The crops inside the simulated magic formation were all successfully planted in the outside world; by entering their data into the formation, they could be simulated to grow normally within it.

This True Research Group was obviously something Ange had moved in, and there were probably many more familiar things from the outside world that Ange had brought in to enrich the entire world.

“This Dead Skull is indeed clever,” Negris couldn’t help but exclaim.

This Land Forbidden to Gods adventure team consisted of seven people: an Elf Archer who had been climbing the tree earlier, now drawing a bow aimed at Little Bone.

The other six members were the leading human female Swordsman, a human male Mage, a human female Mage, a Minotaur Shield Knight, a Goblin Mechanic, and a Dwarven Axeman–a nearly standard adventure team setup.

“Why ‘almost’?” you ask. It’s because they lack a priest but gained a mage, and the roles of the shield knight and the ax-wielding warrior are redundant since there’s a class known as the shield-and-axe wielder.

Now this standard adventuring party was watchfully eyeing Little Bone, occasionally glancing at Negris. Perhaps in their eyes, a ‘brick’ posed no real threat.

Little Bone tilted its head and made a lifting gesture with both hands as a powerful Magic Wave surged from its body.

“Wait a second!” Negris was alarmed and hurriedly called out, “Aren’t you going to ask what they’re here for before attacking?”

Little Bone cocked its head, saying, “Hostility, protection, tree.”

Negris had experience with such straightforward skeletons and countered, “Did they step on any trees?”

Little Bone looked left and right, shaking its head.

“Well, let me ask them what they want first,” proposed Negris ‘gently’. “If they’re here to cut trees, we can intervene, okay?”

Little Bone nodded.

Negris sighed. In front of Ange, it had been forced to be a translator, and it seemed Little Bone would not be an exception. They all shared the nature of a creature that would roar if it could, and if it couldn’t roar, it would fight–a true family trait.

However, Negris was also relieved that it had shouted in time. This Little Bone had been Planting Trees for thirty thousand years and had a Magic Power reaction even more terrifying than Ange, who had only planted vegetables for a thousand years. Without comparing Divine Power and Origin Power, and looking purely at Magic Power, it’s at least on the level of Ange in his Muscle Dragon God form–truly abnormal.

Could planting really refine one’s Magic Power? Maybe it should give it a try?

While thinking such random thoughts, Negris called out, “Are you from the True Research Group? What are you doing here? Elf Archer, be careful not to let go of that arrow. Hit me and it’s fine, but harm the flowers and plants, and you’re dead meat.”

The Elf Archer hesitated, looking at the female swordsman beside him. But before the swordsman could say anything, the male and female mages behind them said tremblingly, “Put it down quickly… Don’t provoke them, or we’re all dead.”

The female swordsman frowned slightly in discomfort. How could they become so cowardly before a fight? What was there to fear from a pile of bones and a flying brick?

But soon, the female mage spoke out tremulously as well, “Don’t mess around. In that instant earlier, I felt the tide of Magic Power. If we act recklessly, we’re done for. Quickly, put down your weapons.”

Those of the melee classes might not sense it, but the intensity of the Magic Power that Little Bone unleashed in that moment had terrified the two mages. With such frightening Magic Power, taking away their control over the elements would be a piece of cake.

That’s when the female swordsman felt concerned. She could disregard what the male mage said, but the female mage was her most trusted companion. If even she was saying this, the enemy must be very powerful. But what did she mean by a tide of Magic Power?

“Hello, we are an adventure team from the True Research Group. Do you know the True Research Group? I’m the team leader, Ninova. May I ask who you are?” The female swordsman lowered her weapons and called out.

“The True Research Group, of course, I know it. It’s the conference that researches why truth behaves as it does,” mocked Negris as it conjured an illusory image of a Bronze Dragon. It was clearly still irked at being referred to as a ‘flying brick’.

But the moment its illusory image appeared, it set the other party screaming in surprise, “The God of Knowledge?! Are you the God of Knowledge?! Lord Negris, the God of Knowledge?!”

In this unfamiliar Other World, someone had recognized its divine name.
