Chapter 1297 - Chapter 1297 Chapter 860 Kill Me
Chapter 1297: Chapter 860 Kill Me Chapter 1297: Chapter 860 Kill Me “Why can the sound of Lightning travel so far? It’s just a Unicorn, it doesn’t know Dark Element,” Negris was perplexed.
“Ah? A Unicorn? I can only vaguely hear a few words. How can you tell it’s a Unicorn?” Tuxi Rikis asked in surprise.
“Ah? You only heard a few words? Which words?” Negris asked.
“Save, lick, electricity, just these few,” Tuxi Rikis replied.
Negris, hands on hips, retorted, “Your hearing isn’t great, eh? We all heard the whole sentence. The tone itself sounded just like Lightning.”
Good hearing wasn’t his forte; it was Ange’s, but when Ange heard it, it was as if he had, feeling proud.
Scanning everyone, Tuxi Rikis finally looked at Ange and said, “Although I don’t know if a Unicorn can vibrate Dark Element, to make a sound that can be heard here doesn’t necessarily require Dark Element, a strong enough vibration would suffice.”
“There’s an invisible passage from the Chaos Plane to here that amplifies certain vibrations and transmits them here. Other vibrations decay and deform, but Dark Element vibrations don’t, so as long as one can perceive the vibrations of Dark Element, many sounds can be heard.”
“Here I’ve heard the abyss’s roar, dark whispers, bugs snoring, and other messed-up stuff,” Tuxi Rikis explained.
Everyone was amazed–it was truly magical. They had spent months traveling, but sound could travel through Dark Element and an invisible passage from so far away–who on the Chaos Plane would have thought that someone at such a distance could hear them?
“Have you ever heard any unspeakable secrets?” Negris curiously asked.
“How could I? Even if I did hear something, I wouldn’t know if it was a secret. Besides, I usually only catch bits and pieces, unlike you who hear everything clearly,” Tuxi Rikis responded.
True, even if he heard someone say “The Cowman Aunt’s underwear is pink,” he wouldn’t know if it was a secret. What if the Cowman Aunt was a stripper?
“Let’s leave then. Lightning was calling for help; we should head back,” Negris suggested.
“Hold on, aren’t you forgetting something?” Tuxi Rikis interjected.
“Ah? Forgetting what?” Negris asked, puzzled.
“Killing me,” Tuxi Rikis pointed to his own chest.
“Pfft–We’re having a good chat, why should we kill you?” Negris stated, baffled.
Tuxi Rikis became frantic: “A good chat because you asked questions and I answered. Isn’t my cooperation in hopes that you’d put an end to me? Seriously, no joke, I’ve lately noticed wrinkles on my skin, I can’t get up straight in the mornings anymore and occasionally leak a bit of urine, and my eyesight isn’t as clear.”
“If things continue like this, I don’t know how long I’ll have to stay here. I’ve been here for sixty thousand years, aged about thirty years, but if I were supposed to live to ninety, then in the next sixty thousand years, I’d have to live as if I’m seventy, eighty, or ninety–I don’t want that. Please, kill me.”
Negris blinked, puzzled, “What do you mean by ‘can’t get up straight in the morning’?”
Anthony pushed him aside, chuckling, “Man’s issue, you wouldn’t understand, young dragon.”
Then he turned to Tuxi Rikis and said, “I understand how you feel, but why should we kill you? Couldn’t you leave this place with us?”
Tuxi Rikis shook his head, “No, I’m bound with the entire Mage Tower and Dimensional Space. I can’t leave beyond where I can see the Mage Tower.”
“There’s such a thing? I thought you just couldn’t fly that far. Do you really only want to die? Wouldn’t you try another way?” Anthony asked.
Tuxi Rikis hesitated, then asked, “What other way could there be?”
Anthony looked towards Ange.
Ange flew to the other end of the Mage Tower and pressed his hand against the wall, pushing hard once and then shaking his head.
Negris seemed to understand and asked, “Do you want to press it into the Dimensional Space?”
Ange nodded, “No, it would be fatal.”
Negris translated, “He says it would be fatal. It seems you really anchored the Mage Tower, and breaking that connection would kill you.”
Ange then landed on the foundation of the Mage Tower and transformed into his Primordial Body, pushing the Mage Tower forward.
The towering Mage Tower and the entire town slowly began to move, picking up speed as they drifted towards the Chaos Plane.
Tuxi Rikis slapped his thigh, “Oh, why didn’t I think of that? I can’t leave the range of the Mage Tower, but I can push the tower forward, I am really… ah…”
Before Tuxi Rikis could finish, he began to scream in pain. His face turned crimson, and his veins bulged before his skin started cracking inch by inch.
Ange stopped the drifting Mage Tower and carefully pulled it back to its original position.
Tuxi Rikis finally caught his breath, feeling like he would have been torn apart if it had continued.
This miraculous change made the Monarch remark, “It looks like he and the Mage Tower along with the space are all anchored together, probably anchored through the Dimensional Space. It’s truly amazing, why would someone go through such great lengths to anchor him with space?”
“No matter who it is, it must be related to the Void Will. It looks like destruction is the only way. Lord Tuxi, would you like to preserve your soul and become an Undead?” Anthony asked.
“Will it hurt? If it’s not painful, do it quickly. Don’t let it be like before, I was almost in agony,” Tuxi Rikis said with lingering fear, the kind of pain that felt like being shredded was too horrifying; he wanted to die, not die in pain.
“Don’t worry, becoming an Undead is the least painful. Even if your body is chopped up, you won’t feel any pain,” Anthony reassured him.
Lord Tuxi said, “How come that sounds even more terrifying? Hurry…”
Before he could finish speaking, the Monarch grabbed his head, pulled hard, and seemed to extract something. Tuxi Rikis’s body immediately collapsed on the ground, and the life force rapidly faded from him.
The Monarch turned his palm, and a Soul Fire sprang up, shifting and finally forming Tuxi Rikis’s face. He seemed a bit slow to react, his mouth opening and closing, and a soul vibration spread, “Quickly, don’t hesitate, let me die swiftly…”
That was indeed a swift death.
“All done, let’s go, Ange move quickly, Lightning is calling for help. Hey, what are you doing?” Negris was about to call, but saw Ange flying towards the Mage Tower again.
Ange pressed both hands on the Mage Tower and pushed hard.
The push failed; the Mage Tower couldn’t be absorbed into the Dimensional Space?
But no matter, Ange reached into the Dimensional Space and knocked, soon a Hole Bug popped its head out, “What’s up?”
“Swallow, don’t chew,” Ange said.
“Oh,” the Hole Bug responded and then stretched out very long before opening its mouth wide.
It only emerged from Ange’s Dimensional Space as thick as an arm, but its mouth was big enough to swallow a Mage Tower. It gulped down the entire Mage Tower and the town below in one go.
Boom! A strange, fractured vibration suggested something in the space had broken, and Tuxi Rikis’s lifeless body directly transformed into wispy black smoke, dissipating into the Void.
Finally, they could leave, but thinking about the months of travel back, Negris couldn’t help but ask Tuxi Rikis’s soul still dazed, “By the way, how do you use your Spatial Slingshot? Teach me, I’ll try if I can slingshot back from here.”
PS: After a long trip last month, I may have experienced an allergic reaction, taken allergy medication, but it makes it hard to concentrate and sit still due to back pain, and overall discomfort.
