Chapter 1289 - Chapter 1289 Chapter 852 Why Didnt You Say It Earlier
Chapter 1289: Chapter 852: Why Didn’t You Say It Earlier? Chapter 1289: Chapter 852: Why Didn’t You Say It Earlier? The entire Void seemed to have only five Primordial Gods, and although Void Will was regarded as a Primordial God, its existence was too mysterious. It was uncertain whether it was truly a Primordial.
Now that the Hole Bug had stayed, it meant that all of the confirmed five Primordial Gods of the Void were here with Ange.
“What do we do now?” Anthony asked, a situation that even the Old God Stick found bewildering.
“Of course we have to flip Void Will out first, who knows where its lair is? We’ll go over there and chop it down,” Monarch said with an itching hand.
Monarch had always said to let Ange anchor the location, and he would go out and turn the Chaos Plane upside down, but after all that effort, not a single Origin god had been chopped down. Instead, they had all inexplicably become Ange’s people. How was he supposed to chop now?
Not just these Primordial Gods, but all the ordinary Void Ancient Gods and Domain Ancient Gods were also under Ange’s protection in the sanctuary. How was he supposed to chop them? Charging into the battlefield with a scythe, only to find all allies? It was completely off the mark.
No, there had to be one to chop, at least one. The only one left was Void Will; it couldn’t be allowed to escape.
Abyssal Big Mouth said, “No one knows where Void Will is. Every time it appears, it’s either in a state of spatial superposition or using an avatar, never revealing its true location.”
Negris said, “Showing a little but hiding most, could it be a trick? Just like we pretend to be Ascetic monks.”
“Lord Nage, that’s not right of you to say. How could Lord be pretending? Is Lord’s Holy Light not pure? Has Lord not suffered enough? Who else has a Holy Light that’s purer and has suffered more than Lord?” Anthony immediately retorted.
Negris opened his mouth but couldn’t speak, because by human standards, wasn’t Ange the most suffering Ascetic monk? He neither ate nor drank, kept away from women, thought of nothing else but planting, and would get discontent if not allowed to do it himself; he was naturally ascetic without any need to pretend.
“Okay okay, no pretending, but could Void Will be pretending? Maybe it isn’t as powerful as it claims, not the will of the Void, and has nothing to do with the Ancient Godlight, but it deliberately misleads you into believing it is? Otherwise, why would it be so mysterious?” Negris said.
Abyssal Big Mouth wasn’t having it: “How is it not powerful? Just using spatial superposition it made me this embarrassed? Not powerful? With that kind of strength, if it says it’s the will, then it is, unless you can defeat it.”
Negris sneered, “Couldn’t it just be that you’re too weak? Ange has already killed it twice, so could we say it’s not the will?”
“You… I…” Abyssal Big Mouth was suddenly speechless, unable to respond.
“Who cares if it is or isn’t, just chop it down, you’ve known it longer, think about where it’s most likely hiding,” Monarch said.
Indeed, who cares if it is or isn’t, just chop it down. Everyone put aside their other thoughts and pondered the most likely hiding places of Void Will. Monarch even said, “Ange, ask the bug.”
Ange shook his head, “It says, it doesn’t know.”
“Even the Hole Bug doesn’t know, it’s hiding well. Where could it be? If it’s hiding in the Chaos Mist, finding it won’t be easy, it might not even be in this layer of space,” Negris said.
Monarch suddenly said, “It’s not within the range of the Chaos Mist.”
“How do you know?” Negris asked, puzzled.
Monarch smiled, “Secret, but it’s not within the range of the Chaos Mist.”
Ange nodded.
Negris glanced at the Monarch, then at Ange, and said irritably, “All this secrecy, is this the secret that eludes my grasp?”
Although he didn’t know why the Monarch and Ange were certain the Void Will wasn’t within the range of the Chaos Mist, he knew the Old Immortal could be deceiving, but Ange wouldn’t.
But if it wasn’t in the Chaos Mist, that would be even more troubling. No matter how vast the Chaos Fog Region might be, it still had a limit. Outside, however, the Void was boundlessly massive.
After a discussion that led nowhere, Ange finally said, “Find someone.”
“Huh? Find who? Aren’t we all here?” With all five Primordial Gods present, who else to look for? Was there anyone with a deeper understanding of the Void than the origin itself?
Ange mounted the Super Speed Snail, and everyone hurriedly followed suit, swiftly heading towards the Blood-colored Abyss, where they saw the God of Life grafted onto the Tree of Ten Thousand Realms.
“This… this… has this become the God of Tree?” Abyssal Big Mouth and Dark Origin muttered, unsure what to say.
Many had focused solely on the shelter, completely disregarding several nearby Demon Abysses, oblivious to their great transformation.
But it was no surprise, to conceal their activities, Anthony had debris dragged over in large amounts, scattering it around the Demon Abysses, completely encasing them. Only Ancient Gods who had established Soul Contact could approach.
Passing through the floating debris, they arrived at the center, where three large and one small Abyss Dimensions, along with a Shattered Plane, were now interconnected by massive vines and tendrils.
The three large Abyss Dimensions were positioned at three corners with the small Shattered Plane perpendicular at their center point, and at that center was a huge tree burl. Extending from this burl, four massive vines supported the four Planes.
These four Planes, almost as large as the Abyss Dimensions themselves along with the burl, and adding a small Shattered Plane, were linked by vines into a single entity, with trails on the vines wide enough for traffic of wagons, boats, and riders.
Numerous humans, elves, demons, and more, some on beasts, others piloting airships, or simply flying slowly, used these vines to travel to other Planes.
These massive tree vines connecting different Planes, each with a diameter spanning hundreds of kilometers, had surfaces capable of retaining air, allowing ordinary people to breathe freely without Holy Armor, feeling as though they walked on a vast plain rather than a vine.
Even the Monarch couldn’t help but marvel, “A road in the Void? I think I once created one with lava, even set up several farms to generate air.”
“Yes, the Eternity Road, we took it apart,” Negris said.
Dark Origin hesitated before asking, “That tree burl, is there something inside it?”
Abyssal Big Mouth added, “There’s an energy response, faint but it fills me with dread. What is inside?”
Ange pulled out a piece of Ancient Black Stone the size of a watermelon and hurled it towards the tree burl. As it neared the burl, a small crack appeared and a blast of intense light shone out.
“Ancient… Ancient Godlight!” Both Dark Origin and Abyssal Big Mouth’s eyes bulged.
Ange cocked his head to one side and opened a space, and the Hole Bug peeked out eagerly, “God of Tree!?”
The burl opened only a slit just enough for the Ancient Black Stone to slip in, then closed up again.
The Monarch asked, “Didn’t you already grow the Tree of Ten Thousand Realms? Why didn’t you tell us earlier?”
