Chapter 1229 - Chapter 1229 Chapter 792 Youve Mistaken the Wrong Person
Chapter 1229: Chapter 792 You’ve Mistaken the Wrong Person Chapter 1229: Chapter 792 You’ve Mistaken the Wrong Person “Hiding your head and showing your tail, you finally dare to come out? Die then!” The Monarch let out an angry soul scream, his entire form continuously expanding, transforming into his Primordial Body–the Undead Ruler.
Honestly, in the Chaos Plane, the Monarch hated nothing more than this so-called Void Will. It never confronted you head-on, instead it only commanded the Abyssal Big Mouth to cause trouble, and you never knew where it was, so if you wanted revenge, you couldn’t even find your target.
Sometimes the Monarch really wondered if this so-called Void Will was just a name with no real strength, possessing some special abilities, but actually was a weakling.
There were plenty of such beings, like those demons that took on terrifying names like Lord of Terror, but couldn’t even withstand a punch from Feiti.
If you got frightened by their names and signed some so-called Demon Contract with them, then you’d be in trouble, as they would squeeze you dry of everything.
If this Void Will wasn’t one of those types, then why did it never dare to show its face? Even in the memories of some Ancient Gods there were no fragments concerning the Will of the Void.
It seemed that only after the Ancient Godlight had exploded, records of the Void Will began to appear, but no one had ever laid eyes on it.
Unexpectedly, it had suddenly shown up today. Cut it down!
Ange also stepped forward, as the shadow of the Bone Dragon burst forth from him.
The giant coffin moved back even faster and quickly vanished within the Chaos Mist.
“???” Everyone’s mind raised a big question mark. What’s going on here? An error in judgment?
It felt like when you pushed open the door to a private room in a small tavern, wondering who was causing such a racket, only to see a bunch of intimidating figures and then hurry out again.
Ange and the Monarch immediately gave chase, but just as the Monarch’s Primordial Body flew out of the domain, it was immediately pulled back by taut chains.
His original body was still in a state of anchoring, so he had no choice but to rush out an avatar, and followed Ange forward.
And so, he was a big step slower, and with just an avatar, he couldn’t speed up, only able to watch helplessly as Ange also disappeared into the mist ahead, the distance between them growing ever larger.
“Ange, forget it, don’t chase, watch out for an ambush,” the Monarch shouted. Compared with catching this elusive creature, everyone’s safety was more important.
Who knows if Ange heard him, since his figure was no longer visible.
What else could he do? The Monarch could only chase forward gloomily.
With the giant size of the Bone Dragon and the giant coffin, the traces of their movements were very clear, and the Monarch didn’t lose them. But he soon saw something that made his soul tighten.
It was several golden scales with some bits of flesh at their roots and an intense energy impact residue around them; clearly, Ange had engaged with that giant coffin.
“Not good, Ange’s Primordial Body hasn’t been tempered, how could he be the opponent of the Void Will? You better be okay, you still have a bunch of Soul Contacts,” the Monarch’s avatar’s blurred face twisted his two eyes almost into one.
However, after flying for some distance, he found a bunch of fragments that had obviously fallen from the giant coffin, with remnants of strong Thunder Element fluctuations on them, apparently they had been knocked off by Thunder Element attacks.
“Eh, the Void Will is injured? Did Ange manage to hurt it?” the Monarch muttered in surprise.
Continuing the chase, signs of battle became more common and scattered. There were fallen scales, broken bones, dissipating Soul Energy, and even a struggling Titan, which was in the process of healing.
A Titan? The Monarch stared at this Titan in astonishment, thinking: This looks so familiar, who is this?
Kronos, who had just managed to struggle to his feet, also saw the Monarch, and out of fear, immediately grabbed his head, thinking to himself, “You can’t see me… You can’t see me… Pull me…”
With a whoosh, a force pulled from the front, turning Kronos into a thick bolt of lightning that was drawn forward.
There were not many in the Titan clan, and upon closer contemplation, the Monarch vaguely remembered this Titan, “Isn’t his name Kronos? Wasn’t he a Thunder Titan? How did he become a Gold Titan?”
The reason why Kronos managed to break through to Gold Titan was mainly because he had been struck by lightning too many times…
The fact that Kronos could be pulled indicated that the distance was no longer far. The Monarch pursued for a while longer and arrived at a chaotic area, which was riddled with traces of battle and engulfed in a tattered Chaos Mist.
An ‘army’ was rhythmically launching attacks on the colossal coffin.
Army was the only way to describe it because there were more than forty Ancient Gods in this army, and the Little Demon King, revealing his true form, was over a hundred meters tall, leaving behind bloody trails as he moved.
The Goddess of Starfire was circling and swooping, her hands conjuring World-destroying Starfire of such intensity that even the Monarch felt a shudder.
The other Ancient Gods, led by these two Ancient God Hunters, continuously attacked the coffin, though they mostly employed ranged actions, which seemed more like distractions.
Leading the main assault were two Undead Gods, one a goddess holding sheaves of wheat, another a beautiful goddess, followed by a deity sporting a straw coat and rolled-up trousers, a Goblin dragging a money bag, and a massive Bronze Book.
Six deities… Including the God of Knowledge represented by the Bronze Book, that made seven deities. However, the Monarch knew the power of Negris and felt it odd to have such an entity in a battle of this caliber.
Seven gods, under the leadership of a Bone Dragon, coordinated their attacks on the colossal coffin which was forced to retreat.
Such a scene was completely counter to common understanding, for in the Chaos Plane, Ancient Gods were considered a higher order than deities.
Although deities possessed various odd and ancient Divine Techniques, these techniques were generally ineffective against Ancient Gods, and the deities’ Energy Levels were far lower than Ancient Gods’, often putting them at a disadvantage.
Of course, there were exceptions to everything. For instance, among Ancient Gods, there were creatures like the Honey Elf, and among the deities, there were freaks like Ange, and even more bizarre was him, possessing the powers of six gods, as well as a Primordial Body.
The power of the Primordial Body would project onto the deity at the most appropriate time, raising their Energy Level. This ingenious and seamless coordination was definitely not something a few deities could achieve.
The Monarch muttered to himself in contemplation, “Could what Nage said be true? Does Ange have numerous God Statuses? Are these all his avatars?”
In a situation where Energy Levels were nearly on par, the odd Divine Techniques could become the key to victory.
The Harvest Goddess holding the sheaves of wheat watched over the colossal coffin with maternal eyes, making it dare not stay in one spot.
Yet her attacks were all blocked by the God of Fraudsters, dragging his money bag, and the God of Farming in his straw coat, with cries of ‘discount–‘ echoing throughout the Void.
The discounted attacks were converted by the God of Farming’s Element Conversion into heaps of Elf Beans and straw, with the occasional straw Owl here and there… An Owl?
The two Undead Gods took turns launching attacks, using alternating waves to overwhelm the coffin with successive blows.
The Undead Gods did not require the power of the Primordial Body because in their hands were forty-meter-long scythes given by the Monarch.
Behind the Undead Gods, the Bronze Book followed closely, always ready to open its pages and clamp down on the opponent, preparing to seal them away.
With the relentless attacks of the deities up close, and the predatory gaze of the Ancient Gods from afar, the silent coffin finally spoke, “I am not the Void Will; you’ve mistaken me for someone else.”
