Chapter 1215 - Chapter 1215 Chapter 779 Get in the Car Were in a Hurry

Chapter 1215: Chapter 779: Get in the Car, We’re in a Hurry Chapter 1215: Chapter 779: Get in the Car, We’re in a Hurry Shaking dimensional spaces was not difficult for Ange, but Amelia had to be forgiven for not being world-wise, for she had never seen anyone knock twice and cause a dimension to tremble.

Ange squeezed past her and entered the spatial bubble, arriving in front of the Illumination Magic Array.

When he was in the Lich Underground City, he had helped Aisike inscribe an Illumination Magic Array, a very “simple” Magic Array whose sole purpose was to emit light to illuminate and enhance the growth of crops. Its only drawback was it consumed magic power and Demon Crystals, something ordinary farmers simply couldn’t afford.

Ange knocked on it to modify it, causing the puppet to panic and want to shout but dare not to. The Illumination Magic Array was the only source of supplemental light in the spatial bubble; without it, the crops in the space would hardly grow.

Amelia didn’t dare say anything either, only shrinking to the side and watching Ange fiddle with the array, firmly resolving in her mind: if it broke, so be it, she would just inscribe another one later, just don’t disturb the Lord.

Ange adjusted it a bit, rebuilt an energy core, and then pulled out a dark feather and inserted it on top of the Array’s focal point.

The Illumination Magic Array slowly flickered–flickered–flickered several times, then lit up with a strong red and blue glow.

Only then did Ange walk to the center of the field, stepping down a footprint, and a miraculous scene unfolded before Amelia and the puppet as countless crops sprouted tender shoots and then grew wildly under the light.

Grain-filling, booting, flowering, pollinating, bearing fruit, and finally, a field of golden rice ears, heavily bending the stalks with their weight.

Amelia and the puppet were both stunned by the scene before them, looking at each other, unable to speak for a good while.

To save time, Ange maximized the effect of the Instant Death Halo, and in less than ten minutes, the rice completed a full growth cycle, bringing the most intense shock.

Ange pulled out the feather, and the Illumination Magic Array dimmed down.

A strong sense of loss surged in Amelia’s heart, and she couldn’t help mumbling: I knew it wasn’t for us, how could such a miraculous thing be for me? But it’s really amazing, just emitting red and blue light, it can make crops fill grain and bear fruit, why only emit red and blue light? Is it more magic-power-saving?

Ange handed her the black feather, saying, “Compensation.”

Amelia snapped back to reality, saw the feather before her, and incredulously said, “For, for me? Really for me?”

Ange nodded, stuffed the black feather into her hand, and then called out to the Big Cat who followed in: “Aow.”

The Big Cat quickly opened a space rift, and everyone crawled out.

Amelia stared at the closing space rift, looked at the feather in her hand, and then at the puppet beside her, scarcely believing it.

She really couldn’t think of, even couldn’t comprehend, why a being of Ange’s level, would knock on the dimensional door and come in just because of a casual remark, compensate, and then leave without any demands. Is this the Chaos Plane? Are there such friendly Ancient Gods?

Still dazed for quite a while, Amelia finally said to the puppet, “I think we’ve encountered a kind god.”

The puppet nodded, “Yes, a faithful and kind god who does not bully the weak. You can try to ask for his help, whether it’s the kind of glowing thing from earlier or this Illumination Magic Array, both can solve the tribe’s major problems.”

Amelia’s eyes lit up, but then she became troubled, “But what can we offer to exchange for his help?”

“Of course the spatial bubble, what else do you think would be of interest to the Lord?” the puppet replied.

Suddenly, Amelia thought of something, her eyes brightened, and she rushed out the door.

Ange and the others had already boarded the Super Speed Snail, and would be leaving in a few more seconds, so Amelia hurriedly shouted, “Lord, Lord, I would like to exchange a spatial bubble for that thing that glows like the Ancient Godlight.”

While shouting, she took out something the size of a fingertip, a black crystal with tiny stars forming a vortex inside.

“What spatial bubble?” Negriss leaned in to take a look, “Isn’t this a Black Crystal? There are specks inside, a Chaos Black Crystal, how do you have something like this?”

“Oh, Chaos Black Crystal? No, we call it a Spatial Bubble. It’s anchored a huge spatial bubble, and it’s a very mature space. I was hoping to use it to exchange with you for an Ancient Godlight, the one you just took out from the Illumination Magic Wand,” Amelia said.

Anthony leaned in: “Spatial Bubble? Anchored? How big is the space? What do you mean mature?”

It was just like Anthony to distill several key points from a single sentence of conversation.

“It’s tens of thousands times larger than my home. Mature means…” Amelia pondered a bit and then said, “Like my home, which is a very mature space. It has air, soil, water. I can grow things in it. This is considered the most mature space, one that can sustain life.”

“As for those immature spaces, they might not have air, water, soil, or any matter at all–utter chaos.”

Anthony asked, “Your Space Bubble Black Crystal then?”

Amelia hesitated for a moment but still pulled out a rice grain-sized black crystal.

Negriss leaned in to take a look, puzzled, and asked, “How come there are no light points?” Then turning to Ange, he said, “Take out the War Tree Man’s and compare.”

Ange took out the War Tree Man’s black crystal, which was a few meters in diameter. Amelia was immediately stunned, looking back and forth from the rice grain in her hand and feeling somewhat embarrassed, tucked it behind her back.

“Why are you putting it away? Take it out and let’s have a look,” said Negriss.

Although the War Tree Man’s black crystal was big and lacked the speckles of stars, Amelia’s small one was the same–without any starry points. So, they were identical in that aspect.

After comparing them, Negriss said, “Yours has no light points, yet it’s anchored your little space. Ours has no light points either; could it be anchoring an even larger space? Does the size of the space they’re anchoring relate to their volume? If that’s the case, then the space anchored by our crystal stone is at least hundreds of millions of times the size of your small space.”

Amelia shook her head with a wry smile: “You really hit the nail on the head with those questions. I’ve only seen two spatial bubbles, and never one as large as this. I have no idea if there’s a space hundreds of millions of times larger.”

Suddenly, Anthony asked, “Wait, what about the place where your people live? You must’ve seen at least three spatial bubbles.”

Amelia shook her head and said, “The place where my people live is not an independent space. It’s a space passage carved by the Hole God, and it doesn’t need a separate spatial bubble to anchor it.”

Anthony nodded in understanding, as if deep in thought, and stepped back.

Negriss continued asking, “Then why does that one have a light point, but yours and ours don’t?”

Amelia smiled bitterly again, “You really are asking the right person. I don’t know.”

“How come you don’t know anything? If you don’t know, then why say I asked the right person? So, your name is ‘Right Person,’ right?” Negriss said irritably.

Since they couldn’t get any more information, Negriss pushed her aside and discussed with Anthony: “What do you think? Shall we exchange?”

“Let’s exchange. We can create light points, and Frozen Space isn’t rare. Another sample gives us another comparison set. We can figure out the difference between black crystals with and without light points. Plus, this anchoring could very well be what His Majesty mentioned,” Anthony said.

“Alright then, let’s exchange. But how are you going to take it back?” Negriss asked Amelia.

Light points are immovable in space and can only be shifted through alternating between two spaces unless Amelia has the ability to collect light points into dimensional space, she won’t be able to move the light point.

After several attempts, Amelia, with a crestfallen face, asked, “Can you do home delivery?”

Anthony and Negriss looked at each other and asked, “Is it far?”

“Not far at all, just up ahead.”

“Then hop in; we’re on a tight schedule,” Negriss said.
