Chapter 1102 - Chapter 1102 Chapter 666 Stuffing Something into That Tree

Chapter 1102: Chapter 666: Stuffing Something into That Tree Chapter 1102: Chapter 666: Stuffing Something into That Tree The God of Life extended his thick roots, plunging deep into the void, which appeared to have connected to the World Tree within the Plane inside the Life Sacred Pool, drawing enormous nutrients and growing wildly until it reached the height of seven or eight hundred meters and hurled towards the War Giant Tree.

Boom boom boom! The God of Life was knocked back, slowly crying out, “I can’t beat it, help.”

Little Sapling swung the True Leaf forcefully: grow–forcefully–grow–

The seven or eight hundred meter tall God of Life shot up a few hundred meters more and charged again.

Boom boom boom! It was knocked back again, a large chunk of its trunk missing, as if shattered by something.

“It’s really powerful…” the God of Life said slowly.

Negris was furious, “At this point, can you speak faster and not so sluggishly?”

“Oh, then I’ll speed up. It hit my core, it hurts, I might be dying soon,” the God of Life said slowly.

“…” Everyone was somewhat speechless; given the God of Life’s tone, they really couldn’t feel the urgency of his impending death.

Negris even tested further, “How fast is ‘soon’ for you? It’s not going to take another few thousand years, is it?”

“Not that long, let’s say tomorrow.” He replied as he swiped his hand over the gaping hole in his trunk, wiping off a lot of green juice; even someone as insensitive as a Bronze Dragon could sense the strong life force in the green liquid.

“Pfft! Tomorrow? Is the injury that severe? What do we do, what do we do? How come you are so weak? You couldn’t even defeat what your parent tree left behind?” Negris almost panicked, asking urgently.

Ange tilted his head, “How so, save you?”

“Don’t you still have another Undead Godhood? Let’s share our lives,” the God of Life said slowly.

Ange nodded, summoning his Undead Godhood; his current body being a clone and its Undead Godhood was empty as the original had already merged with Little Sapling.

The God of Life sent out a flicker of green light that collided with the Undead Godhood, merging into one.

Negris didn’t know what to say, you’re the God of Life, the World Tree… no, it has now taken root in two worlds, you might as well call it the Void Tree.

The Void Tree, are you merging with someone else so easily? Do you think you’re Little Sapling?

Little Sapling claimed it was young and naive and needed someone to look after it, but you’re just an old retired tree here taking care of children, why merge so easily with someone else just because you’re about to die?

But recently, the God of Life had been following Ange, each sitting on a shoulder with Little Sapling, which was almost like sharing lives, except they couldn’t share power.

Now that they had merged, the God of Life immediately surged with stronger energy, stretching yet another two hundred meters taller, now towering over the War Giant Tree across from it.

Then the God of Life slowly waved his hand: “Go ahead…”

The bystanders who couldn’t intervene almost toppled over, and Negris was further infuriated, “After merging you want Ange to go up? You really know how to order people around!”

The God of Life said slowly, “I’m not good at fighting…”

In fact, Ange didn’t need it to speak, he had already engaged from the moment of symbiosis, feeling a continuous surge of power flowing from the God of Life.

This was nearly a super life close to a hundred thousand years old. In the Master Plane, even the Undead King didn’t want to provoke it when he had already transformed into the Black Crystal Body.

But the God of Life wasn’t adept at war, especially poor at battling the War Giant Tree. Normally, it was the War Giant Tree that guarded it. Plus, this wasn’t the Master Plane, and its main body wasn’t here, so the power it transmitted couldn’t achieve its greatest effect.

However, what it couldn’t unleash, once transferred to Ange via symbiosis, the effects were different.

Ange’s scales rippled, transforming into a robust version of the Dragon God, his back muscles bulging as he sprouted two wings of flesh, which, with a light flap, turned Ange into a sharp arrow shooting toward the War Giant Tree.

The War Giant Tree gathered stones from around it and hurled them with effort.

Ange’s wings flapped, his entire body fluidly dodging left and right, easily avoiding the simple stones.

Occasionally, he would abruptly stop, accelerate, and change direction. At each turn, a bunch of roots would suddenly spike out in front of the original trajectory, tightly twisting together yet not a single one could touch Ange.

Seeing that Ange had dodged all of its attacks, the War Giant Tree sensed danger, a fruit suddenly grew on its trunk, and then it grabbed it and tossed it.

Ange caught the Lightning Spear and hurled it. The fruit was struck from afar and exploded, dispersing a large cloud of green liquid.

“Eh, it’s Gaur’s jelly fruit, but there’s so much more jelly.” Negris exclaimed.

“Yes, it’s much bigger than Gaur. It’s thousands of kilometers tall while Gaur is only about a hundred meters. I really wonder if it could grow this tall within the Plane,” Durken curiously said, then flew towards the God of Life.

He took out a container, shook it, and gestured at the green liquid on the palm of the God of Life.

The God of Life handed over his palm, and Durken immediately lit up, diving in to scrape all the liquid into the bottle.

The sap of the Tree of Life, something unheard of, would definitely have special effects when used as an alchemical material.

Inside the Plane, gravity existed making it difficult for trees to grow tall; if they grew this tall, then their density and hardness must be very high. The higher the density, the more mass and the more weight the body had to bear, ultimately resulting in an exponential increase in strength.

A War Giant Tree one kilometer tall and five hundred meters in diameter, nearly matching the God of Life’s own body. Could a War Giant Tree truly grow bigger than the God of Life?

During these few conversations, Ange had already gotten within a certain distance and cast a glow–Guardian Barrier.

The War Giant Tree was momentarily dazzled. Ange had already disappeared, a strange force landing on it, enveloping it like a membrane.

If within a few meters, the Guardian Barrier was very solid, but the War Giant Tree’s size was too large, straining the Guardian Barrier until it distorted and with a light movement, the vastly enlarged Guardian Barrier burst like a bubble.

Having broken through this harmless membrane, the War Giant Tree strangely searched for Ange’s whereabouts, finally finding that little bug on its body, and without a word, swiped at it.

Ange had to fly up, circling around the War Giant Tree, as if looking for an opportunity.

Negris frowned and said, “Why is he circling around? Can’t he beat it? Is it that formidable? Old tree, go on, stop watching the show.”

“Not yet,” Anthony interjected, “Hold off for now. I saw the lord attach something to that tree.”

PS: Uh, went to watch a game yesterday and didn’t update…
