"Zack..." Mira whispered, her voice trembling as she took in the shocking sight before her. The disbelief in her eyes was palpable. How could someone she had trusted, someone she hoped to be friends with, be the one behind her kidnapping? The shock was mirrored in Zack’s expression as he stood before her, his calm demeanor only making the situation more unsettling.

"You don’t need to be afraid," Zack said, his voice steady and strangely soothing. "I’m not going to hurt you. I just need to speak with you."

Her movements were frantic as she tried to free herself from the ropes binding her, but Zack’s voice cut through the room, tinged with an edge of concern. "Careful there. The more you struggle, the tighter it gets."

Mira’s breath came in ragged gasps as she looked at him, her eyes wide with desperation. She couldn’t think clearly, overwhelmed by the situation. Zack took a deep breath, his gaze never leaving hers. "I would like you to divorce Zemian. I don’t want to see you with him ever again."

Mira’s heart pounded in her chest, her breath trembling as the weight of his demand sank in. "I’ll let you go if you agree to my terms," Zack added, his tone firm.

Just then, a man entered the room, carrying a file. Zack signed it briskly, his movements precise and indifferent. Handing the file back to the man, he instructed, "Untie her hands."

The man nodded, muttering, "Yes, boss," as he began to untie Mira’s wrists. Tears welled up in Mira’s eyes, her breath coming in short, uneven bursts. The tears were warm against her cold cheeks, the chill of her skin adding to her confusion. Her head spun with dizziness, but she managed to catch a glimpse of the man’s face as he worked. She was too stunned to speak, her mind reeling from the shock of her situation.

After the man finished untying her hands, he placed the file on the ground near her and exited the room. Mira’s heart raced as Zack’s voice cut through the silence again. "Either you divorce him, or you choose to die. I don’t want you with him."

His words seemed surreal to Mira. Why was he so insistent that she leave Zemian? Did he have any right to make such demands? Mira struggled to comprehend the gravity of the situation. Her hands shook as she absorbed the cruel ultimatum. As Zack approached her, his expression was unreadable. He reached out and began to caress her cheek, his touch making her skin crawl.

The disgust that washed over Mira was visceral. Zack’s touch was cold, sending an icy wave of nausea through her. Every fiber of her being recoiled. She had never experienced such revulsion before, not even when Zamian had held her hand back in the mansion . Zack’s touch was so repulsive that it sent waves of nausea through her, and she felt goosebumps crawl across her skin. Shivers ran down her spine from a deep, unsettling mixture of fear and disgust. She closed her eyes tightly, fighting to hold back the tears that continued to stream down her face,Her body shivered .

The sudden sound from the door jolted her.

BOOM

Zamian burst into the room, his white shirt sleeves rolled up, revealing the tense muscles underneath as if preparing for what was to come. Zack’s eyes widened in shock as he turned to face Zamian .He hadn’t expected Zamian to find them, despite his careful precautions. Zack had taken Mira to a secluded location, far from any network coverage, and ensured the security was tight to prevent anyone from tracking him.

Zamian stood in the doorway, his presence radiating a fierce determination. Zack, still stunned, spoke, "I see you didn’t bring any of your men." His voice was laced with both surprise and a hint of defensiveness.

Before Zack could say anything more, Zamian’s fist connected with his face, sending him sprawling to the ground. The force of the punch was intense, fueled by Zamian’s raw anger. Mira watched in shock and horror as Zamian’s rage turned into a relentless assault. Each punch was delivered with brutal intensity, blood streaming down Zack’s face. Mira’s body shook with fear at the sight, her heart pounding as she witnessed the violence.

Mira’s voice, barely a whisper, broke through the chaos. "Zamian, stop." Her plea was trembling, filled with both fear and a desperate hope that he would cease the onslaught.

Zack crumpled to the floor, unable to rise from the beating he had endured. Zamian, breathing heavily, quickly gathered Mira into his arms. He moved with urgency, carrying her out of the room as the distant wail of sirens grew louder. Police officers were closing in, their arrival imminent.

Zamian placed Mira gently in the front seat of his car and quickly untied her legs. He then slid into the driver’s seat, his grip on the steering wheel tight, knuckles white. As he sped away, his anger and frustration were evident in the harsh grip of his hands and the strain in his jaw.

"That bastard..." Zamian muttered through clenched teeth, his voice filled with barely contained rage. His eyes burned with an intense desire to confront Zack further, to release his fury, but he was restrained by Mira’s earlier plea to stop.

Before Zamian could voice his thoughts, Mira’s trembling hand reached out to touch his cheek. Her eyes, filled with a mix of fear and gratitude, met his. "It’s okay," she whispered, her voice barely audible through her tears. "It really is okay." She offered him a faint, reassuring smile, her dry tears streaking her cheeks. Despite the chaos and pain, her gaze conveyed a deep appreciation.

Before Zamian could fully process her words or the intensity of the situation, Mira’s strength gave out,as she collapsed.
