“Dad!”

Gu Kai called out in a drawn-out tone.

Seeing Gu Yan’s expression unchanged, he rolled his eyes and stood up from the couch, “Dad, I’m going to look for Bai Yiyi first.”

Gu Kai left the couch without looking back, dismissively saying a word before striding out of the office.

On the way, he called Bai Yiyi. She told him she was at Wen Ran’s Home.

Just as Gu Kai was about to speak, his phone’s ringtone rang out.

Bai Yiyi didn’t show any surprise; she had overheard Gu Kai talking on the phone while she was in the bathroom.

“You should remember the favor Fang Zhiwei is doing for you, she’s helping you.”

“Helping me?”

Bai Yiyi pointed to her nose and a smile bloomed across her eyes, “Gu Kai, aren’t you always smart? Could it be that your IQ is high but your EQ is low?”

Gu Kai raised an eyebrow, “Isn’t Fang Zhiwei helping you? Shouldn’t you remember her favor?”
