FLASH MARRIAGE; CHARMED BY THE RUTHLESS BILLIONAIRE CEO
Chapter 373 - 373: I love you, Henry Gordon.

Sarah's heart thundered like a wild drumbeat in her chest as Henry pulled the car to a stop.

Every breath she took felt sharp and sweet, laced with the scent of adrenaline and open skies.

"Are you ready for this?" Henry tilted his head sideways to look at her, captivated by the spark in her eyes.

She took in a deep breath and exhaled before giving a confident reply.

"Yes."

"Then let's go." Henry winked, stepping out of the car.

"Okay." Sarah blew out forced air through her mouth before climbing out of the car.

She looked up, her eyes wide and alive, as she scanned the endless stretch of blue above her.

She slowly moved forward and stopped at the edge of the runway, her breath catching in her throat as the deafening roar of an aeroplane taking off sliced through the open sky.

The wind whipped through her hair, blowing strands of hair across her face and tugging at her clothes like invisible hands urging her forward. But her feet felt frozen, rooted to the tarmac not by fear, but by the overwhelming surge of emotions crashing over her all at once, and crawling up her spine like fire.

"Here, let me...." Henry came in front of her and softly tucked her hair behind her ear, his gentle caressing touch easing her tensed nerves and igniting exploding fireworks in her heart.

Sarah's breath hitched, and her body froze momentarily as she stared into those magical blue eyes, completely lost in that bottomless abyss.

Henry felt a magnetic pull towards her especially when she unconsciously moistened her lips. He took one step closer, his Adam's apple bobbing up and down as he swallowed the lump that had formed in his throat.

"Do you have something I could use to hold your hair in place so that it doesn't enter your eyes?" Henry managed to say, distracting himself from ruining the adventure by stealing a kiss from the mesmerising beauty before him.

"Yes." Sarah's voice came out as a whisper. She blinked twice and lowered her gaze, slightly embarrassed by her exposed lust. "I...umm...I came with something." Sarah said reaching for her pink hair scrunchies in her handbag.

Her cheeks gave off a deeper crimson red glow as Henry collected the scrunchies from her hand before she could stop him and helped her hold her hair up in a loose ponytail like an elder brother attending to his cute baby sister.

"There... It looks perfect." Henry said beaming. "You look perfect."

"Thank you." Sarah looked sideways, wishing she could run away with Henry right now to a secret place and just profess what she felt for him.

"Mr Gordon..."

The voice of an average, tall-looking man clad in a leather aviator jacket paired with black jeans disrupted the tender moment between Sarah and Henry.

Henry spun around to face the pilot.

"...sorry to break up this union but we are ready to take off if you are." The pilot said tipping his hat in silent respect.

"Thanks, Bennett." Henry shook hands with him. "We will be with you shortly."

"Okay, sir."

As the pilot left them, Sarah pulled Henry's attention back to her.

"I know we're already here, and this might sound weird to say right now. But I think I'm having cold feet about everything."

"Don't worry dear, you will be fine. Once we are out of that plane, you'll see there's nothing to it. Moreover, I'll be beside you every step of the way." Henry reassured her with a gentle massage on the shoulder before guiding her towards the plane.

It didn't take long for the plane to take off, immediately all the passengers and safety guides were on board.

Laughter bubbled within the plane cabin as Henry, Sarah, the skydiving coach, a paramedic and the parachute expert shared hilarious jokes.

Afterwards, Henry helped Sarah into her safety skydiving attire, while the coach gave a summarised reminder of the safety tips in skydiving.

As the plane climbed higher into the sky, reaching an altitude of twelve thousand feet, Henry prepared for the jump. He strapped himself firmly behind Sarah like a protective father, while ensuring all her straps were secured.

Their body moulded as one, and for a moment, Sarah forgot to breathe.

The deafening roar of the wind filled the cabin as the skydiving expert shuffled toward the edge of the plane, his boots steady on the metal floor.

With practised ease, he reached for the handle, gave the couple a sharp glance, and yanked the door open.

Whoosh!

Air surged in like a wild beast, cold and fierce, tugging at clothes and nerves.

"Ahh!" Sarah screamed, shrinking deeper into Henry as if she were about to burrow into his skin.

"Relax, baby...don't be scared. I won't let you go." Henry interlocked his fingers with hers while guiding her slowly towards the exit.

Below them stretched a boundless sea of clouds and sky, with the Earth a distant, hazy patchwork far beneath.

The expert turned back to the couple, his grin calm, eyes hidden behind mirrored goggles. His voice cut through the chaos, steady and charged with excitement.

"Alright, lovebirds, this is the moment you've been waiting for." He shouted over the wind, nodding toward the yawning sky.

"Are you ready to fall in love..." He paused, watching the couple's widened expression. "...with gravity?" He completed his statement with a smirk, playful and reassuringly extending a hand.

Both Henry and Sarah chuckled at his joke.

"Take one deep breath. Trust each other. When I say 'go'....you fly. Okay?"

Henry and Sarah exchanged glances, their fingers tightening around each other.

With hearts racing and feet inches from the edge, they both nodded.

There was a brief moment of roaring silence before the skydiving expert thundered above the wind.

"GO!"

At that same moment, Sarah closed her eyes, her heartbeat synchronising with Henry's as she followed his lead, trusting him, diving with him and surrendering her heart to the magic of his love.

She fell… and yet, it felt like flying.

The roar of the wind faded into a sacred hush in her mind, as though the world itself had paused to let her drink in its wonder.

"Sarah, open your eyes." Henry's voice felt like the soft whisper of the wind. She opened her eyes and the magical beauty beneath her stole her breath away.

Suspended between heaven and earth, Sarah opened her arms to the sky, her hand resting beneath Henry's. She tilted her face to the rushing air, feeling the cold tingling of the wind.

Time seemed to fade away. All her fear and worry melted. Only the feeling of pure love and happiness remained.

Below her, the Earth stretched out like a living painting—vast and breathtaking.

Emerald fields, winding rivers and golden ribbons of sunlit hills, all shimmered like a dream made real.

Clouds floated beneath her like silver islands, and the curve of the horizon whispered the secrets of infinity.

Tears welled in her eyes, not from fear, but from reverence at the wonder and beauty of nature.

And in that peaceful moment when the world around her felt so fragile, so magnificent and so achingly beautiful, she professed her heart to Henry.

"I love you, Henry Gordon."
