“Zhang Lin just called me, the two record certifications we applied for in the United States have been publicly approved by the World Fishing Association!” Yue Feng casually shifted the topic in response to Doll’s question.

Yue Feng nodded, then shook his head, “You’re only partly right! Promoting the American’s brand is just the first step; more deeply, I’m thinking about researching domestic competition reforms!

We took a trip to the United States, you saw the competition atmosphere and public engagement there! Then look at our smoggy Taiwan fishing competitions, I feel if we handle this direction well, there’s huge room for growth!”

Doll knew about the previous incident where Teacher Hua helped contact the Industry Association Alliance, so naturally, the conversation drifted towards this topic,

Doll was right, in such matters, Teacher Hua, whether it be connections, prestige, or relationships with national units and top leaders of the National Fishing Association, was incredibly close.

In the current Taiwan Fishing circle in China, the most recognized and authoritative competition is the Guangwei Fishing King Cup, held biennially. Yue Feng had participated in the competition starting from the selections, and he had basic knowledge of the situation.

Apart from the Fishing King Cup, there are four types of competitions held across the country.

These four types of competitions are led by local Fishing Associations with approval from the Chinese Fishing Association, featuring prize money and competition points, with at least hundreds of events held nationwide each year.

The usual competitors with athletic titles of Third Level, Second Level, First Level, and Special Level Competitive Fishing Masters obtain points through these competitions. With enough points, they advance to higher-level master competitions, achieving the highest nationally recognized professional Technical Level of Special Level.

These four types of competitions, and even three types of competitions, basically occupy over seventy percent of domestic Taiwan Fishing events.

Beyond these competitions are events related to the domestic fishing TV channel Happy Fishing.

Ftt, China’s Fishing TV Live Elite Competition. This event is co-hosted by Happy Fishing and the Chinese Fishing Association.

Then there’s CCF, Happy Fishing, Black Pit Challenge, which is a similar event but more inclined towards competitive competitions close to commercial Black Pit, extending sports competitions.

Objectively speaking, these TV-led fishing competitions fall under commercial competitions, yet they have been authorized and approved by the Chinese Fishing Association and also included in the national competition rating system, with the majority being four types of competitions and higher-level finals being three types.

In the big framework of competitions, domestic Taiwan Fishing has a solid foundation; however, in terms of influence, compared to almost universally known competitions in the United States, the influence of domestic Taiwan Fishing competitions still remains within a relatively small circle and most ordinary anglers haven’t participated or even heard of them.

Having understood these facts that should’ve been recognized earlier, Yue Feng had an initial understanding of the domestic industry conditions, and began to jot down and plan in a notebook.

Fishing competitions in the United States are organized by state, with a comprehensive entry mechanism and different levels of competition, which, in this respect, is similar to the domestic system. However, the difference is that abroad there are pure professional anglers.

These anglers make a lucrative living off fishing competitions!
