611: Chapter 598 A Great Feast 611: Chapter 598 A Great Feast “Who’s there?

Come in if you need something, the door isn’t locked!” Yue Feng lay on the bed, too lazy to even move a little finger.

Gu Qingtian walked in with the shipworker, Ah Dong.

Gu Qingtian, “Starting to feel your muscles sore, swollen, and uncomfortable?

Just stay put on your stomach; don’t get up!”

Yue Feng nodded, “Damn it, if I had known, I wouldn’t have worked so hard!

It feels like my body isn’t mine anymore!”

Gu Qingtian, “Ah Dong is quite good at post-exercise massages.

Let him work on you and apply some ointment to improve blood circulation, and by tomorrow, most of the symptoms should be gone!

Wanna give it a try?”

Yue Feng nodded again, “That would be great!

I feel so out of it right now, it seems like a hassle even to go out and eat dinner!”

“Then let Ah Dong take care of you, I’ll go see how dinner is coming along in the kitchen!” With a wave, Big Brother Gu turned and left.

“How do I need to cooperate?”

“Just lie there on the bed without moving.

I’ll take care of the rest!”

“Alright!

I’m entrusting my hundred-plus pounds to you for now!”

Ah Dong took out a big-bellied porcelain bottle from a small box he carried and poured some thick paste-like liquid into his palm.

His hands kept rubbing together, and soon the thick liquid became much thinner and oily.

After the ointment liquefied, Ah Dong spread it evenly over Yue Feng’s back, arms, thighs, and other major muscle areas where lactic acid buildup was severe.

It was strange; when the ointment was first applied to the skin, it felt cold like menthol oil, but after a few seconds, it started to heat up intensely.

It was as if those areas were covered with medicinal plasters.

Yue Feng asked uncertainly, “It got cold at first, then why did it start to heat up?

Is everything okay?”

Ah Dong shook his head, “It’s normal!

I’m going to massage your muscles to help the medicine penetrate better.

It’s normal to feel heat during this process; the blood vessels are expanding, making you feel even more of a burning sensation!”

“Ah, got it!” Yue Feng nodded.

Just as Ah Dong had said, after massaging the back, lower back, and the outer sides of the thighs, Yue Feng’s body temperature rose noticeably, as if he had a fever.

The recovery massage was nearing completion when there was another knock on the door.

“Fengfeng, are you in there?

I’m coming in!” Wawa couldn’t help but check on Yue Feng in person.

“Come in, the door is unlocked!”

Upon entering, Wawa saw Yue Feng in his underwear and with his shirt off, while Ah Dong was packing up the ointment.

“What are you guys up to?”

“Big Brother Gu asked Ah Dong to give my muscles a workout and a massage, so I can get out of bed tomorrow!”

Yue Feng endured the burning sensation on his skin and slowly got up.

And truly, the stuff worked wonders.

Although Yue Feng still felt a bit off, he was much better than before the massage.

Wawa looked at Yue Feng with concern, “See if you dare to overexert yourself like that again tomorrow?

You don’t take care of your body at all!

Now you’ve turned into a wooden man!

With the state you’re in, if I film a video of you and post it, will it go viral?”

Yue Feng curled his lips, “How can a grown man admit defeat!

Muscles may ache, but one can’t lose face!

I don’t know yet if the joke will go viral, but someone is definitely going to have bad luck.

Why don’t we give it a try?”

The playful thought bloomed in Baby’s mind, and with a mischievous smile, her right index finger gently poked the area above Yue Feng’s waist where his oblique muscles were.

With his current stiff walking posture, this was a particularly sore spot.

“Ouch!” Yue Feng yelped in pain, nearly losing his balance and falling over.

“Haha, you nasty rascal, turned into a wooden man with stiff legs and still daring to threaten this fairy!

Catch me if you can!

Off I go, time for dinner, I’m going to find Chengzi!” Baby swiftly ran out of the room, quickly disappearing from sight.

Enduring the discomfort, Yue Feng made his way to the dining room, where the East Star grouper sashimi was already plated, and the other main dishes were nearly complete.

“Hungry, aren’t you?

In five more minutes, it will be time to eat!

There’s just the last dish left—a fishball made from giant grouper meat!” Brother Gu said with a laugh, wearing an apron usually used for cooking.

“It smells so good!

Brother Gu, can you cook too?”

“I picked up a thing or two from Old Ma, it’s just passable.

Speaking of professional skills, Old Ma is the real deal here!” Gu Qingtian gestured with a thumbs-up.

Five minutes later, the last dish was out of the pan, and dinner was ready!

East Star grouper sashimi, braised giant grouper head, giant grouper fish balls, yellow-braised fish tail, sweet and sour half fish body meat, and stir-fried giant grouper belly—six main dishes, plus a few greens, truly a full tableful.

“Wow, so sumptuous, I could smell it from afar!

No rush to start eating now; let me take a video clip for Fengfeng!” Baby rushed over, exclaiming while she couldn’t help but use her phone to film the night’s dishes!

“Wash your hands, time to eat!

Everyone, taste the giant grouper that Yue Feng caught, see how it is!”

Captain Tony and Ah Dong also made their way to the dining room, everyone took their seats, and after a brief introduction, they devoured the meal heartily.

This is what true extravagance looks like—a big fish, half of it used, made into eight main dishes, each portion supersized, and yet a table of burly men couldn’t finish it all!

Yue Feng was rather calm about some of the conventional Chinese cooking methods; it was just that the meat was a bit fresher, more tender, and chewier.

He had tasted something similar before when friends who went out to sea would gift him black fish, which he also simply processed and ate.

What truly interested Yue Feng the most was the East Star grouper sashimi on the table.

Sashimi, or fish raw, involves cutting the fish into evenly thick and thin slices, then dipping them in soy sauce, mustard, and other condiments to eat.

Before tasting it, Yue Feng was merely curious without much expectation, as his traditional eating habits had accustomed him to cooked food.

But after tasting a slice, he experienced a different flavor.

The fresh sashimi was delicate in texture, with a faint sweet taste in the mouth and a bit of a chewy texture of raw fish.

Just a light dip in the condiments perfectly suited Yue Feng’s palate.

“This sashimi tastes quite good!” Yue Feng couldn’t help but remark.

“Of course, it’s freshly caught, super fresh!

No sashimi in any restaurant around the world can compare to the freshness of what we’re eating right now!”

Suddenly, Yue Feng thought of something and asked, “Just curious, but there aren’t any parasites or anything in this raw stuff, are there?

After all, it’s all raw!”

“Eat up with confidence!

Marine fish live in seawater, so parasites and the like are rare!

Even if there are any, they wouldn’t survive after entering the human body!

No worries!”
