Chapter 586 - 586 573 The Cutest in History

586: Chapter 573: The Cutest in History 586: Chapter 573: The Cutest in History “Baby, look, what is that?” While talking to the baby, Yue Feng also adjusted the drone’s camera, directing it straight to the position by the water opposite them.

Baby: “Wow, capybaras!

So cute and dopey!”

The live stream chat also exploded.

“The legendary creature, the capybara!”

“The largest rodent on Earth!”

“Look at those adorable and dim-witted little eyes, so amusing!”

Yue Feng: “Guys, what you’re seeing in the camera now is one of the Amazon’s mythical creatures, a capybara.

Let’s try to call it over with some biscuits!”

Yue Feng and the baby had seen a video of a tourist feeding a capybara before; the little creature wasn’t afraid of people at all, which naturally sparked the idea in Yue Feng’s mind to feed the capybara.

Yue Feng grabbed a couple of biscuits and, crouching down, walked to the water’s edge, waving his arm toward the opposite capybara: “Come here, I have some tasty treats!”

Whether it was the scent of food that attracted the little fellow or not, its wet nose sniffed gently, and its squinty eyes actually looked towards Yue Feng.

“Holy shit, can this magical creature understand human speech?

Those little eyes are clearly interested in Brother Feng!”

“If it really responds to the call and swims over, the live stream is going to be epic!”

“I doubt it, it’s a wild animal after all.

It’s definitely going to be wary of so many people!”

“+1 to the above!

Despite the capybara not being very prominent in the Amazon, it’s an important source of meat.

If it were that bold, the locals would have slaughtered them all by now!”

Seeing the capybara looking their way, Baby also squatted by the water’s edge about a meter away from Yue Feng with several biscuits in hand.

“Hey!

Cutie, come here for some biscuits!” Baby called out to the capybara gently.

The next second, something miraculous happened!

Baby had called out without any real hope, but the little capybara across the water seemed to truly understand and plunged into the water, swimming towards Baby on the opposite bank.

“Holy crap!”

“What the hell!”

“Is this even possible?

Maybe the capybara likes pretty girls too!”

“Tsk tsk tsk, society is beyond saving.

Even capybaras are lecherous now.

Who can cope with this?!”

“Incredible, defying all logic!

It can only be concluded that the capybara is lecherous!”

Yue Feng and the others were also taken aback by the capybara’s actions, but Barbaro, with his experience, gestured to everyone with a downward pressing palm motion to stay still.

Everyone stopped their actions and quietly waited for the capybara to swim over.

After about a dozen seconds, the capybara quickly swam up next to Baby.

It hesitated for a moment and then without looking back, clambered up onto the bank.

It seemed to have a kind of grease on its body and after shaking off the water from its fur, most of the wetness was gone.

Its nose twitched, and it quickly eyed the biscuits in Baby’s hand.

“Wow, Fengfeng, look!

The little capybara really came to eat the biscuits!” Baby was incredibly excited but didn’t dare to speak loudly, afraid that a loud noise would scare the little one away.

The capybara tried the biscuit and seemed to like the taste, so it calmly started eating.

Its two large buckteeth were very conspicuous, crunching on the biscuits unreservedly.

The biscuit was swiftly gobbled up, but it seemed to want more and sniffed at her hands before looking up with hopeful, expectant eyes.

Not just for her, even Yue Feng couldn’t resist such an innocently charming and unguarded gaze.

She immediately took out another piece of biscuit, feeding it while carefully scratching the capybara’s forehead with her other hand.

After finishing another piece, an even more unbearable scene for everyone unfolded.

The little guy seemed to really enjoy being scratched on the head; it lay down on the spot, exposing its round, chubby belly.

The message was clear, the head scratches felt good, now it wanted some belly rubs too!

Seeing this, the live stream audience completely lost it.

“Holy shit, is this even real?”

“Can someone tell me how this species has survived till now?”

“Isn’t this just shameless?

Mooching off food is one thing, but a massage too?

Those are Fengfeng’s delicate hands—this capybara really knows how to live it up!”

“I remember these creatures are known as the social butterflies of the animal kingdom, the peace ambassadors.

Even crocodiles won’t attack them easily!

They get along harmoniously with little ducks, birds, and other small animals!”

“I love this, I want to keep one!

This seems even more fun than a husky!”

As Fengfeng scratched the capybara’s belly, the creature blissfully closed its eyes and dozed off, completely unguarded and visibly enjoying it.

Fengfeng was utterly charmed by the capybara’s adorable stupidity, catering to it with biscuits and belly scratches.

Some people pet cats, some pet dogs, but Fengfeng was petting a capybara and it made for perfect show material.

Seeing the capybara had no fear, the others began to loosen up too, eating and drinking to replenish the energy they had lost during the morning’s trek.

After playing for about half an hour, the capybara’s fur was mostly dry.

Having eaten and drunk its fill, it lazily got up from the ground, shook its butt, and returned to the water, making its way back to the opposite shore and soon disappearing into the depths of the jungle.

Since arriving in the Amazon, apart from browsing local handicraft shops, Fengfeng hadn’t been very active during other times.

Yue Feng enjoyed fishing, but Fengfeng had come purely to accompany the prince to study, and hadn’t found much else that was fun for her.

But today, the capybara’s performance had truly been a rewarding experience for her.

It was a trust from an unfamiliar animal, which to Fengfeng felt even more precious!

After watching the capybara disappear, Fengfeng returned to the group to continue eating.

With their stomachs filled and no special activities in mind, Fabio took out some mosquito repellent that he had brought along, sprayed it around, and everyone sat down under the shade of trees, waiting for the legendary troop of monkeys to come and drink water.

We didn’t see any monkeys, but before long, a flock of green parrots came flying in together.

These parrots were much smaller than macaws; Yue Feng couldn’t name them, but he was sure he had seen them before back home.

A huge group of parrots descended onto the water like locusts, lining up to drink.

Once done, they stepped back and made room for the second row of their companions to drink.

After all had quenched their thirst, they chirped away and landed on some low trees.

In a matter of minutes, one bird took the lead and the entire flock took off, disappearing into the jungle.

Clearly, Puddle Pond in the valley was a watering spot for nearby animals.

In less than an hour from the time they had finished eating, at least three waves of birds had come to drink water, and Yue Feng spotted a few scattered small animals.

Just as everyone was getting a bit lazy, sitting in the shade and sipping on drinks, the treetops in the distance suddenly stirred.

Yue Feng was the first to notice something amiss and he alerted everyone; they all quieted down and looked towards the trees.
