360: Chapter 349 Reporting (Part 2) 360: Chapter 349 Reporting (Part 2) Yue Feng drove his car to the gate, where the gatekeeper stopped him.

The gatekeeper glanced at Yue Feng’s license plate and asked, “Are you from out of town, young man?

Do you have an appointment?

What brings you to the company?”

Yue Feng answered with a smile, “Hello, sir, I’m here to attend this session of the fishing training camp!

Where do I go to register?

Could you please direct me?”

On hearing that he was there for the training camp, the gatekeeper’s wary expression eased considerably.

Indeed, several others had already arrived today to register.

“Oh, you’re here for the training camp!

Come and sign in!”

Yue Feng followed the old man’s instructions and registered, after which the old man pointed him to a row of buildings not far from the South Gate.

“The first office on your left at the entrance of the White Building on the first floor is where you need to report!”

“Okay, thank you!” Yue Feng expressed his gratitude, then drove his car through the gate.

The infrastructure of Hua School was indeed very beautiful.

After driving along the asphalt road for a while, Yue Feng arrived at the registration office.

Before he reached the office door, Yue Feng saw a young man, not much older than himself, walking out of the office holding a payment receipt, heading towards him along the corridor.

Yue Feng didn’t know the person, and after their eyes met for a split second, they passed each other by.

Reaching the office door, Yue Feng knocked.

“Come in!” A robust voice came from inside the room.

Yue Feng entered and saw a middle-aged man, about forty years old, sitting at a desk.

“Hello, I’m here to register for the 30th training camp session!” Yue Feng introduced himself straightforwardly.

The middle-aged man looked somewhat stern, his face slightly stern as he looked up at Yue Feng and asked, “What’s your name?

Who referred you here?”

Yue Feng replied, “Yue Feng, arranged by Brother Sheng from the guild!”

Hearing the name ‘Brother Sheng,’ the middle-aged man nodded, didn’t even mention the fee, casually took a receipt book from the desk, quickly filled out a form, and then tore off a copy for Yue Feng.

“Take this receipt to the logistics department on the second floor!

Someone there will arrange your accommodation!

Did you drive here?

Park your car behind the dormitory!

My surname is Yan, here’s my card, Xiao Sheng is my friend, you can call me directly if you need anything during your time at Hua School!”

“Okay!” Yue Feng took the card and the receipt, nodding eagerly.

After leaving the registration office, Yue Feng glanced at the business card and the receipt.

The business card was simple: Yan Xuesong, position as the team leader of Hua’s Team, and part-time technical advisor.

The receipt was also straightforward: it was for the registration fee, and in the amount section, it was written 2800, followed by the bold and energetic signature of Yan Xuesong.

It turned out that the cost of studying at Hua School was not as high as Yue Feng had anticipated; less than three thousand yuan, including a set of Taiwan Fishing gear.

Even if he hadn’t arranged it through Brother Sheng, Yue Feng could afford it on his own.

With the receipt in hand, he went to the logistics office on the second floor.

The staff there were considerably older, appearing to be in their fifties, with gray hair and reading glasses on.

“Xiao Ke, take our students to settle into the dormitory, and get them a cafeteria meal card too!” the old master called out.

“All right!” responded the young man named Xiao Ke, who got up and led Yue Feng straight down the stairs to the dormitory building.

“Hey, buddy, where are you from?”

Xiao Ke, who was just over twenty, spoke fairly fast.

He had just stepped out of the office and started chatting with Yue Feng.

“From W City!

Yue Feng here, and how should I address you, young man?

Are you working at Hua’s Company?” Yue Feng also asked.

“Me?

I’m Hu Ke, but you can just call me Xiao Ke!

I’m learning fishing at Hua School, my master is Yang Wenjian, so technically, I’m the old man’s grand-disciple!” Xiao Ke answered naturally.

Yue Feng had heard the name Yang Wenjian for the first time; his knowledge of this circle was limited, but from Xiao Ke’s tone, Yue Feng could tell that the name must have had a high reputation in the circle.

A disciple of the old man—at a not-so-low level!

“How many people are there in this term in total?

Why haven’t I seen many around?

Isn’t tomorrow the reporting day?” Yue Feng continued to ask.

“Yes, tomorrow is the official reporting day!

My master mentioned that this term there seem to be about thirty people.

The usual schedule—if you arrive on the reporting day, you won’t miss a thing.

There are a few who come early, but not many; so far, including you, there are three in total!

But coming early has its perks, like getting to choose your dorm room first!

I’ll arrange a sunlit, comfortable room for you later!”

“That’s great!”

Xiao Ke was quite talkative.

Along the way, Yue Feng asked some basic questions and soon Xiao Ke brought Yue Feng to the lodging building.

This was a small three-story building, reminiscent of the student dormitories Yue Feng remembered from middle school, though not as big.

Xiao Ke led the way up front while Yue Feng carried his luggage, quickly following behind him and soon they were upstairs.

The first floor seemed to be a common room of some sort, and they went straight to the second floor, which indeed resembled the small single-room student dormitories.

The building was somewhat old; the latex paint on the walls was a bit mottled.

“Seeing this dormitory, it reminds me of my school days!” Yue Feng remarked.

Xiao Ke smiled and, pointing inside a room, said, “Our dorm conditions are pretty good, two people per room, with an en suite bathroom, a shower, and even a fan!

The doors that are locked now are unoccupied.

Take a look around, and whichever room you like, we’ll pick that one!”

Yue Feng peeked through the glass on the door and casually chose a sunlit empty room.

Room 206.

“This one it is!”

Xiao Ke nodded, found the key to room 206 from a large bunch, and then unlocked the door.

The room was pretty clean but had a slightly musty smell as the windows had been closed for a long time.

The first thing Xiao Ke did was to open the aluminum windows to air the room out.

After a while, it was more comfortable to stay in.

While the room aired, Yue Feng surveyed it; the furnishings were simple with two bunk beds, two small desks, a folding table against the wall, and two chairs.

There was an old ceiling fan overhead, and nothing else.

“You can place your luggage on the top bunk.

Once settled, we’ll go get the bedding!”

There wasn’t much to settle.

Xiao Ke handed Yue Feng a key and then led him straight to a storage room near the easternmost side of the floor.

Upon opening the door, the racks inside were filled with neatly stacked bedding, sheets, pillows, and such—one set for each person.

Yue Feng picked up his set and turned back to the room.
