Fishing Livestream -
Chapter 316 - 316 305 Mutual Respect as Guests
316: Chapter 305: Mutual Respect as Guests 316: Chapter 305: Mutual Respect as Guests Yue Feng shook his head, “My live-streaming style is quality over quantity; if there’s no good content to share, I’d rather not stream at all!
Those who rely on a bit of popularity in their stream to blabber and peddle goods, I look down on them!”
“Why do you look down on them?
Isn’t that how everyone is playing the game now?
Talent shows, PKs, topping e-commerce sales!
And then there’s selling products!
This whole process is very mature now!!” Doll turned her head and stared curiously into Yue Feng’s eyes as she asked.
Yue Feng shook his head again and countered, “Then why don’t you sell products?
It seems like your stream’s room name indicates you don’t take e-commerce, right?”
“I’m not short of those few bucks; I can live quite well on the gifts from ordinary fans alone!” Doll said with conviction.
Yue Feng continued tying hooks without stopping, grinning, “I’m not lacking either…”
“You…” Doll was choked up by Yue Feng’s retort.
When Doll brought up this topic just now, subconsciously, she still hoped her boyfriend would have some influence.
With Yue Feng’s beat-up little car that wouldn’t cost more than a hundred thousand at most, it was sufficient for getting around, but it had no prestige when driven out.
It wasn’t that Doll was disdainful of the poor and in love with the rich; rather, she had already begun to consider their future together unconsciously.
To get past her parents and elders, having one’s own career was definitely a must, and a decent car was the bare minimum.
She couldn’t believe that this blockhead could be so brazen!
If Doll told Yue Feng that she usually drove a big bull, she wondered if Yue Feng would still dare to claim he was not short on money.
A thought struck Yue Feng, and he understood Doll’s insinuation.
Grinning, he said, “I get what you mean, but I’m like you, there are many ways to make money, and I don’t want to choose the one that drinks the blood of my fans.
How come those selling streamers dare to lavishly throw gifts and top the charts in seconds?
Where does their confidence come from?
Isn’t it from the profits made off goods sold to the viewers and fans in the stream?
Many fans don’t have the discernment to know better, and they’re all happy if they get something of high cost-performance.
But what if they buy junk products?
Don’t we, as streamers, bear some responsibility?
It is with these considerations that I choose not to take on this kind of e-commerce sales.”
Rather than that, it’s better to sell some Musk Herbal Wine that I made myself in the stream!
I’m not lying to you, my Medicinal Wine is really powerful, and the market is completely untapped right now.
Wouldn’t it be better to stand on our own two feet and make money with our own skills and abilities?”
Hearing Yue Feng’s confident tone, Doll pouted and nodded her head, reluctantly convinced.
However, in Doll’s view, making a few hundred thousand with this sort of thing didn’t seem too difficult.
But to reach a certain scale and height was not something she could estimate at the moment; personnel, equipment, market operations—every aspect required people to handle it.
A single person going at it alone would definitely not make it.
“Alright, then, give it a try.
I will definitely support you!” Doll fiddled with a towel, her attention seemingly elsewhere as she spoke.
Seeing Doll idly toying with the towel, Yue Feng suddenly remembered something, “Did you pack any Sunscreen Clothing in your suitcase?”
“Sunscreen Clothing?
I don’t fish.
What do I need Sunscreen Clothing for?
No, I didn’t bring any!!” Doll said matter-of-factly.
Yue Feng shook his head, put down the sub-line in his hands, and began rummaging through his meager luggage.
Soon, Yue Feng found a neatly folded set of Sunscreen Clothing from his backpack.
It was the same style as the one he had given Doll before, but since it was his own, the size was visibly larger.
“The forecast says it’ll be over thirty degrees tomorrow, you’ll get damaged under the big sun!
Make do with mine for now!” Yue Feng said casually.
“You’ve given me the clothes, but what about you?
What will you wear?”
Yue Feng casually pulled out another sunscreen clothing from the bag, still in its packaging, and said, “I’ll wear the one given by the organizers!
I’ve also got a sun umbrella, so no big problem!”
The quality of the sunscreen clothing provided for the competition fell far short of the one made from ice silk meant for Doll.
Not to mention the design, the material alone was worlds apart.
Yue Feng had checked it out after receiving it at the sign-in, and even complained to Doll at the time.
Unexpectedly, upon learning Doll didn’t bring sunscreen clothing, he gave his to her and decided to wear this one.
“I can wear the top if I must, but let’s skip the pants!!” Doll had an inexplicable aversion to being wrapped up so tightly and, in her mind, wearing anything other than hot pants in the heat of summer was a waste of her long, shapely legs.
While Doll was saying this, the image of the cheeky, overweight guy hitting on her at the barbecue joint the other evening popped into Yue Feng’s head.
He righteously declared, “You must wear them!
My girlfriend is only for my eyes.
If some smelly hooligans outside get a look, wouldn’t I be at a huge loss?
Be good, listen up, no fussing!”
Seeing Yue Feng being so possessive, Doll grinned, hugged the sunscreen clothing, and turned back to her room.
A few minutes later, Doll returned to Yue Feng’s room wearing the sunscreen clothing that was obviously two sizes too big.
Doll’s pants were hitched up high, and her top was visibly loose, tied at the side in a knot, giving off a rather special charm.
The sight of a girl wearing her boyfriend’s baggy clothes had a pretty strong effect on Yue Feng, especially the knot at the side that perfectly outlined her waistline, making her look much nicer than in a loose T-shirt.
“How’s this?
I’ll wear it like this tomorrow!” Doll turned around on the spot, showing off with a rather vain smile.
“Fine, but make sure to wear a hat, a scarf, and sunglasses.
Full armor!
My only request is that your face doesn’t appear on my live stream.
The hype from a couple of days ago just cooled down, and we really don’t need new issues popping up.
Better safe than sorry!”
“Okay, okay!
I’ll do as you say; I’ll cover up tight so nobody will recognize me!” Doll sounded slightly smug seeing Yue Feng so anxious.
With the sunscreen clothing settled, the two chatted casually.
By nine-thirty, Yue Feng had prepared all the various sizes of lines and hooks that they might need for the competition.
“We have to get up early tomorrow, so go back to your room and rest!
Set your alarm, and I’ll wake you up when I get up,” Yue Feng announced at around half past nine.
“Alright, then I’m heading to my room!” Doll responded, standing up in the sunscreen clothing that resembled a costume robe, ready to return to her room.
“Wait!” Before she reached the door, Yue Feng called out to her again.
“What now?”
Yue Feng walked over to Doll in two strides and planted a firm kiss on her forehead.
“Alright, now go to sleep like a good girl!” he commanded.
“Okay!”
…
Back in her room, Doll’s heart hammered, thump-thump, as if she were carrying a small rabbit inside.
It was that kind of feeling!
