Chapter 104 - 104 104 The Little Mustache's PK Invitation

104: Chapter 104: The Little Mustache’s PK Invitation 104: Chapter 104: The Little Mustache’s PK Invitation Many things are actually just separated by a layer of “window paper”; those in the know might not say anything, and outsiders may guess that there’s something magical about it.

But once the “window paper” is punctured, there isn’t much to learn anymore.

Take baits like Yellow Powder and Yellow Storm, for instance.

Neither the production process nor the technical procedures, nor even the additives like attractants, involve any high-end technical barriers.

Any bait manufacturer with a decent level of technical capability can produce them.

That such ordinary products can stir up quite a stir in the fishing gear community just shows how deformed the development of this industry really is.

“Wow, according to the host, Yellow Powder and Yellow Storm aren’t really that amazing, huh!

But they are really expensive!

A pack costs twenty to thirty bucks!”

“Yellow Storm has been banned in many of our local pits.

It seems that the owners are saying the fish die after eating it!”

“That’s terrifying.

How could something made of grain kill fish?

It must be a rumor!”

Yue Feng grinned and smiled, “Many anglers here use it too, but I don’t sell it in my shop, so I can’t comment on whether it has side effects.

In my opinion, it does work, but it’s not as miraculous as everyone says!

If you’re interested, you can buy some floating grain bait online and break it up at home to use!

Fishing should be about seeking breakthroughs in technique.

Over-reliance on bait and potions is not a good thing!”

“Wow!

What the host said is exactly what a pretty famous fishing expert over here said!”

“Yue Feng’s fishing skills have always stood out.

He was so professional when fishing for big carp in Black Pit a while ago!”

“Can Brother Feng talk about Bubble Ball?

Many people here have been using it to fish for recycled fish and stealth donkeys since last year!”

Once again, the Smart Script automatically captured the keyword “Bubble Ball” and brought it to Yue Feng’s attention.

“Bubble Ball, we can certainly talk about that!

There are quite a few of these kinds of baits on the market nowadays, and different manufacturers have different names for them.

Some call them Golden Crown Grain, some call them Granule Success, and others call them Grain Elements, but essentially, they are all high-expansion-rate floating granular bait!

Here, let me share with you a concept for fishing for recycled fish; these are just my two cents, so please just take it as a reference!

Recycled fish, as everyone knows, refers to fish that have been caught and released back into the pond.

These fish exhibit a few distinct characteristics after being released.

First, they often have injuries on their mouths and bodies to some extent—some from hooks, some from being rubbed by nets, and others from physical harm during the weigh-and-release process.

Because of these injuries, the health of the fish can be worrisome.

They often can’t feed properly, even if they have the desire to bite; they lack the strength, they can’t ingest the bait.

The second characteristic is that recycled fish usually remember being caught and released and are more sensitive to movements at the feeding spot.

They are scared of the “Loose Powder” technique often used for wild fish, hesitant to enter a baited area!

With these two main characteristics in mind, let’s look at Bubble Ball!

This type of bait absorbs a lot of water; some varieties can even reach a 1:1 ratio or higher, making them very light.

What’s the advantage of lighter bait?

As it falls through the water, it has a longer journey and is more likely to be intercepted by fish along the way!

It also draws the fish’s attention more easily!

Especially for fish with weaker suction force, they get a chance to take in the bait.

This increases the chances of catching a fish.

Additionally, Bubble Ball has another prominent feature— even underwater, it doesn’t disintegrate into a powdery form, but maintains its granular state scattered about!

Fish are more assured with this state, not frightened away from entering the feeding area!”

“In our area, many anglers have switched to Bubble Ball at the recycled fish ponds, and it works much better than conventional baits!”

“I’ve been using it for a year or two now!

I used to use versions that required adding Sticky Flour, but it seems there are ready-to-use versions on the market now where you just need to add water, knead a bit, and it’s good to go!”

“Brother Feng’s Grain Elements seem to be that type—ready to use without adding Sticky Flour!

I’ve tried it a few times, and the results were pretty good!”

“Truly insightful, I’ve learned a lot!”

“Learned a lot +1”

“Followed!

The host speaks nothing but the hard truth!”

Yue Feng had only been live for less than an hour, and the number of people in his stream had already stabilized over a thousand.

In the niche community of fishing live streams, this was quite an achievement.

It was clear that everyone was quite interested in the content Yue Feng was sharing.

While the discussion was heating up, Yue Feng suddenly received a PK invitation.

Yue Feng, who was usually quite laid-back when it came to streaming, never hesitated to encourage follows, red hearts, or shares, but he wasn’t keen on PKs, which solely relied on fans spending money.

Moreover, Yue Feng did not know the person who initiated the PK invitation, who was called Little Mustache Outdoor Fishing.

If he wasn’t mistaken, this guy was a fellow in the same line of work as Yue Feng, another host of outdoor fishing live broadcasts.

Yue Feng was in the middle of a conversation and did not want to interrupt it, so he did not accept and casually chose to ignore the invite.

But before long, the invitation popped up again.

Could it be something important?

Curious, Yue Feng casually accepted the challenge.

The live stream split into two screens, and next to him appeared a man in his thirties with a sleazy, round face and a small mustache.

“Hey buddy, you need something?” Yue Feng greeted politely.

“Yue Feng, right?

I heard from my live stream viewers that you’re talking about bait, so I came to have a look!

How about it, up for a PK?”

Little Mustache’s gaze seemed a bit cross-eyed, and he spoke very bluntly, but his number of fans and live stream viewers were not few, even stronger than Yue Feng’s.

Yue Feng shook his head, “Let’s skip the PK, I’m just starting out.

I’m happy just having fun with the brothers.

I don’t think my skills are up to it for a PK!”

Actually, Yue Feng was hinting at conceding.

If it were someone perceptive, they would have taken the hint and backed off, but Little Mustache didn’t seem to have any intention of doing so.

“What’s the matter, buddy, look down on people?

A live stream with more than a thousand viewers, talking about insufficient skills—do you look down on your big brothers in the live stream or on me?” Little Mustache said, his eyes askew.

By this point, Yue Feng’s live stream was in disarray.

“Go ahead and play with him.

Just the way he talks pisses me off!”

“Little Mustache is shady.

I bought a fishing rod from him, and it broke after just one use.

I’ve been trying to get ahold of his customer service for over a month and still no answer!”

“This guy is just unscrupulous.

He was selling blood reed floats that someone exposed as made from sorghum stems!

What a clown!”

“Little Mustache seems to be promoting his own brand of Yellow Storm bait.

Could it be that’s why he came to pick a fight?

Though it must be said, he does have quite a few followers; nearly two hundred thousand since he started streaming early!”
