First Demonic Dragon
Chapter 1015 - 1015: An (Un) Equal Exchange

Priscilla blinked as she looked at the picture being shown to her on a cellular phone.

It was of two children. Both of them golden-colored, and lined with a cute and necessary amount of baby fat.

She paid special attention to their multicolored eyes.

When she was calm like this, it was difficult to recognize her as the manipulative party girl from before.

"...You're telling me these two chonkers are your children?"

Aubrey and Sabine were getting flashbacks to the names Satan called their kids.

"Yes, and we made them on our own." Sabine snatched her phone back.

Priscilla looked down at the girls' pants like she had X-ray vision.

Aubrey and Sabine were tempted to slap her.

""We're both girls!!""

"Can I chec-"

""NO!""

"Booo..." Priscilla made a pouty face that was insufferable in it's cuteness.

"It's simple. If you tell us the names of the witch clans supplying you with drugs, then I will tell you the ritual that will allow you to make children with anyone you want."

Priscilla made a gleeful sound. She shed fairy dust from her wings in fistfuls.

In the blink of an eye, she was fully dressed again and looked somewhat dignified. "Alright then, my curious little individuals. You have yourselves a deal."

Courtney let out an internal sigh of relief.

"Need a pen to right this down?" She winked at Mateo.

"I'll remember. Just spill."

"So moody~"

Priscilla hummed to herself as she reached in her pocket for a rather colorful bag of pills.

As she started popping them one by one, she finally began assisting the group as she had been asked to do.

"The Martin Coven of Salem. The Yevgeniva Coven in Kazan. The Alarie Coven in Gevaudan."

Mateo pulled out his phone and began dialing up old contacts without a word.

As he turned away from the group, Aubrey and Courtney followed him without a second word.

"Alright, I gave you what you needed. Now don't keep me in suspense~" Priscilla rubbed her hands together like Birdman.

Sabine really didn't want to do this. Not for a sickening woman like the queen of the fae.

However, she wasn't a backstabbing woman. Oaths were oaths, and they were to be kept at all costs. Lest she go around soiling her family's good name.

Sabine raised a finger to Priscilla's forehead, and the queen let out a cheerful screech of anticipation.

But just before she could touch the queen and transfer what she knew, Nubia grabbed her by the wrist to stop her.

"Wait just a moment. We need to talk about what you heard."

Priscilla scowled. "You're not being fair, princess! If you want to make a new deal, then let's do that, but don't go around infringing on our old one!"

"I'm afraid that the importance of family supersedes any other concern of manners or decency."

The queen's scowl deepened as her blood temperature rose. She no longer thought Nubia was all that pretty.

"Everything you heard about my sister- forget it. Because if a single word of what happens here today leaves your mouth, then you won't be able to make enough children in ten years to replace the ones I will kill in a day."

Priscilla clenched her fists. "I thought we left rampant acts of destruction to the boys in your family?"

For a moment, a flash of anger flashed across Nubia's face.

Her red eye glowed brighter than it's green twin.

"Perhaps you will learn very quickly, Priscilla. We are all my father's children."

-

Exiting the fairy realm, Nubia, Adeline, and Sabine rejoined the others.

When they stepped back onto the grounds of Central Park, Mateo was busy on the phone getting the exact locations of all three clans. He had already gotten the first two.

While he was busy getting the third, Nubia went to go stand beside her sister, who was dangling upside down from a tree.

"You know it's not good for you to let all the blood rush to your head like that?"

Courtney tilted her head. "Even for dragons?"

Nubia blinked a few times as she realized her mistake.

"It seems I'm still treating you like you're human... I apologize."

Courtney smiled bashfully. "No biggie... I'm still getting the hang of this whole dragon thing to begin with."

She looked at her legs wrapped around a tree branch. "...No pun intended."

Nubia chuckled. "Then, in the spirit of getting the hang of things, let me give you a bit of advice."

Nubia leaned over to whisper in her sister's ear.

"You'll need to learn to get your new temper under control sooner rather than later. We can't get angry and start saying things that blabbermouths like the fae don't need to hear."

Courtney's cheeks turned red and she covered her face with her hands. "Ah, shit... I'm such a fuck up."

"No, no, you're not. Believe me, we've all made plenty of mistakes in this family, and yours doesn't even begin to crack the top ten. There's no need to loathe yourself for it. Just be mindful and make better choices. That's all any of us can do."

Courtney slowly lowered her hands and nodded.

Nubia pressed her forehead against her sister's before giving her a kiss on the cheek. "Now come down. Godfather is about to get the last location."

Courtney held out her arms.

Scoffing, Nubia helped pull her sister down from the tree like she did when she was still a child.

"Couldn't Apophis have found all of these covens fairly easily?" Courtney suddenly asked as her sister put her down. "Y'know, with the whole magic-god mojo?"

Another thought dawned on her in the very same breath. "Wait, am I going to get like god-puberty? Like getting my own divinity and stuff?"

Nubia was astounded at just how quickly her sister's mind could work. "No and hell no."

"Wait, why??"

"Which one are you asking me about first?"

"The important one." Courntey answered like it was obvious.

The two of them sat on a rock as Mateo finished his phone call. "Our brother isn't like our mother. He hasn't touched his divinity of magic for so long now that he's out of practice.

He never really worked at it anyway, he wanted to be like our father and study weaponry. His divinity is no doubt a result of which of our mothers actually pushed him out.

For the past few thousand years, he hasn't really done much with magic outside of supplying his magic power to a few cults in Egypt. And they don't use one-way summoning, since it's deemed barbaric."

There was silence for a long time afterwards. Too long.

Nubia turned ot her sister and found her staring at her with a blank look.

"So... I'm not getting divine power?"

"..."

Nubia flicked her sister on the forehead.

"Ow!"

"Done!"

Mateo stuffed his phone back into his pocket and walked over the girls wearing the thickest coat they had ever seen.

"So, who's coming with me to Russia?"
