Chapter 1372: With Him by Your Side
Chapter 1372: Chapter 1372: With Him by Your Side
A string of various, dense data, she thought... well, watching TV is better.
During that time, Jasmine Yale was like a jubilant rabbit, running here and there, everywhere.
She brought over the cake, and while Sylvan Cheney was working, she would fork a piece of cake to feed him.
He had always neither refused nor actively accepted sweets.
Jasmine fed him, and he happily accepted it and ate.
"I can’t be the only one getting fat, if we get fat together, you won’t disdain me," Jasmine muttered.
"Do you think I will get fat?" Sylvan said lightly.
"Um..."
Jasmine admitted, this man led a very regular life, with fitness and morning runs, it seemed difficult for him to get fat.
She liked how he looked when he was working; she could watch him all day without getting tired.
Sylvan’s side profile was deep and resolute, with clear-cut edges, a taut chin line, and his cool, focused eyes gazing at the computer screen.
His sleeves were slightly rolled up, his figure slender, exuding a commanding presence.
Jasmine spent her time alternating between eating cake, watching TV, playing games, and chatting with him.
Such peaceful days were not the least bit lonely.
With him by her side, everything was wonderful.
"Honey, what are you watching?"
"You wouldn’t understand."
"You could still tell me about it; I might understand if you do."
"..."
"What’s wrong, do you disdain me?"
"Yes," Sylvan lifted the corner of his lips slightly.
"You’re so annoying," Jasmine complained, "Let’s watch a movie, turn on a movie, and we can watch together."
"I’ll do it after I finish my work."
"Oh."
Jasmine didn’t cling to him, and she went upstairs on her own.
His study had a section of her books; she picked out a few magazines from the pile and took them to the bedroom to read.
They weren’t just any magazines – they were the indescribable magazines that Joe Heath had squeezed into her bag before.
Later, she just randomly stuck them back into the pile of books, and it seemed Sylvan hadn’t noticed.
Now, feeling a bit interested, she began reading one.
The heating was turned up high, and as she read, Jasmine’s face flushed red with heat.
This...
She knew Joe Heath was up to no good; what was all this stuff?
But... it was quite interesting?
Jasmine quickly finished one comic book and then started flipping through another.
Her heart was pounding uncontrollably as she read, her face so red it could bleed.
When Sylvan entered, she was so engrossed and smiling as she read, completely unaware of Sylvan’s presence.
He stood beside her, his eyebrows furrowed, a cold chill on his stern face.
He reached out and pulled the comic book out of her hands.
"Hey!" Jasmine’s face reddened further, "When did you come in?"
"Since when are you interested in these?" Sylvan’s lips curved with interest, his gaze on the comic book.
"Just... taking a look occasionally."
"No need to just look, I can teach."
With that, Sylvan Cheney leaned over and began unbuttoning his shirt.
His warm lips sealed her crimson ones, not giving her a chance to speak.
Jasmine, already stirred up by the comics, began craving him as he drew closer.
He kissed her, and she responded.
Jasmine closed her eyes, hooked her arms around his neck, and was lost in the moment.
Love starts unknowingly, but then it deepens.
Jasmine indulged in his tenderness, completely defenseless.
The once timid Little White turned into a sultry wildcat, clinging to him, wrapping around him like aquatic plants.
