Chapter 1328: Chapter 1328: Teaching You How to Get a Man to Drink Alcohol
Sylvan Cheney laughed still, his arms wrapped around her waist.
Her waist was very slender, just enough to encircle with his hands.
"Jasy, do you know how well-behaved you looked the first time I scolded you? At that time, I thought I had brought home a rabbit, but it turned out to be a wild cat," Sylvan said calmly, "Back then, you didn’t dare to talk back when I scolded you, but now, for every sentence I say, you can contradict me ten times. I really spoiled you too much."
"Are you regretting being so indulgent with me?"
"I’ve never regretted it."
His faint breath fell on her face, Jasmine Yale looked at him, her eyes growing more intoxicated.
He just missed that girl who kept her head down and didn’t say a word, listening obediently to his lectures.
Jasmine Yale fell silent.
"I’m telling you, it’s not that I became wilder, it’s clearly you who became more and more unreasonable over time, and that’s why I started talking back," Jasmine Yale complained, "When I was in junior high, you started being totally unreasonable. Really, very unreasonable. It wasn’t very obvious at first, but after I entered high school, it became clearer."
"There was a time when I was afraid to talk to you, fearing that if I misspoke a word, you would scold me."
Sylvan Cheney frowned, "Nonsense."
"I’m not talking nonsense!" Jasmine Yale clarified, "You would question me if I came home late, if I received gifts, and even if I talked a bit more with boys. It’s fine to ask questions, but you didn’t trust me and always suspected me, thinking I was dating someone. I wasn’t young anymore, and it would have been normal if I was dating, but I wasn’t."
"So now you are accusing me, huh?"
"Not at all." Jasmine Yale denied, "I’m just giving an example of when you were being unreasonable. Haven’t you ever thought about it?"
"What is there to think about?"
"Wronging me, doesn’t your conscience hurt?" Jasmine Yale rolled her eyes.
Those years, the phrase she heard most was, "no dating allowed."
She wasn’t interested in early dating; the boys at school weren’t bad, but none of them could compare to him.
She simply didn’t have such intentions; the person she liked was him.
Sylvan Cheney laughed.
After a while, Jasmine Yale’s expression grew indifferent again.
"The past is in the past; there’s nothing more to say," Jasmine Yale reached for the stemmed glass on the table, "You might as well taste my feelings. I can’t take the wine with me, and it would be a waste not to drink it."
She brought the glass to his lips.
This position really looked like she was feeding him.
"Will you feed me the wine?" Sylvan Cheney asked.
Jasmine Yale shook her head, "No."
"Never fed Yukon Carbon?"
Jasmine Yale sobered up a bit, "Do I need to tell you that?"
"No need to tell me," Sylvan Cheney said calmly, "Jasmine Yale, let me teach you how to feed a man wine."
"Mr. Cheney is truly a businessman, used to the scene, knowing even this," Jasmine Yale laughed, "Is it often that women feed you?"
"Jealous?"
"Just curious," Jasmine Yale’s eyes twinkled, "In certain business settings, can you see anything? Like something rated..."
"Too bad there’s no future opportunity, otherwise, I could take you there once. After you go, you’ll know what a business setting is."
"That’s quite a pity," Jasmine Yale sighed deliberately.
Though she was a bit tipsy, she held the glass of wine steadily, careful not to accidentally break it.
She just didn’t expect to talk so much with Sylvan Cheney that night.
