Chapter 818: Chapter 539: Specific Treatment_2

These two giant trees were not treants, but ordinary trees driven here by natural spells, used as markers for the north gate of Mesnoel—Mesnoel’s original gate markers had been destroyed by the Divine Root.

Gaven didn’t want to turn them into treants, it was just that their size exceeded the capacity of the Enlightenment spell, and to enlighten them, a legendary druid would have to take action personally.

Yeshandalah soon discovered that this was just the beginning of their shock; the layered treehouses of Mesnoel and the towering, crystal-clear Tower of Dominion shattered their understanding, including the forest and followers of the Ranger Goddess Melikai, such as Fan Ruina.

She had only followed the part about the goddess rangers, not the forest part, as there were no such conditions around the Giant Dragon Coast; this was her first time venturing into the primeval forest.

In these treehouses, no longer empty as when Gaven first arrived, many had been renovated and had new occupants who were elves and Fae Race, all native residents of the Mir Forest.

For these residents, Mesnoel currently maintained a hands-off governance; not to mention the freedom to come and go, they were completely left to live according to their own desires.

Firstly, they were used to this lifestyle; tightening their ropes from the start would likely scare them away.

Secondly, Gaven’s current need for Mesnoel mainly lay in the Tower of Dominion; these Fae Race and elves were not as useful as those under the control of the True Wraith in the Tower of Dominion; his industrial arrangements here had been completed by the True Wraith.

The biggest role of these natural races was to bring a bit of vitality and life to the resurrected city, not to be a dead city.

"Dwarves Elf?"

"Six-armed Snake Demon?"

What truly made Yeshandalah and Fan Ruina swallow their saliva were the two figures that came to meet them.

Either one was a notoriously infamous existence; put together, what kind of top-tier combination was that?

Had they entered an elven city, or a den of demons?

But from their respectful demeanor, it seemed they were also subordinates of the young conqueror.

The two most focused on were the Six-armed Snake Demon, who definitely possessed legendary strength; on the battlefield, she was absolutely a death harvesting machine.

So, it was no wonder that after hearing about Arms’ strength, he still appeared unfazed.

"Ms. Ophelia, are you adapting well to life here?" Gaven asked with concern about the Six-armed Snake Demon’s situation.

She wasn’t in her Nightshadow Form now but was using Ms. Estelle’s Phasing Transformation ability to change her material state.

Now, the shadow control quotas under Estelle and Amanda had been cleared, leaving only Daphne and the Six-armed Snake Demon.

Because it’s registered under their names, any Transcendent automatically gains the Special Ability of phasing transformation.

This had become an important reward mechanism, not something just anyone could receive.

"Better than I had anticipated," the Six-armed Snake Demon affirmed, her three pairs of arms crossed in front of her chest, her haughtiness fully apparent.

This place was not just a little better, but rather a dreamland beyond her wildest dreams.

A stable and safe home allowed her to relax completely, without worrying about greedy, scrutinizing glances from all directions.

A stable source of souls, freely accessible to her for fearless hunting without inciting any wrath—she might indeed be restricted to Mesnoel and Weizemay Manor on the Material Plane, but in the Shadow Plane connected to Weizemay Manor, she faced no restrictions. Here, there were plenty of bizarre prey for her to test her blade, hunt, and devour.

What was forbidden territory for ordinary people was a playground for her.

Most of her time was spent in the Shadow Plane, not the Material Plane.

Most importantly, from Daphne’s mouth, she had learned more about the man before her, understanding how quickly he operated and just how much potential he possessed.

That meant frequent opportunities for her to battle, harvest more souls, and enhance herself.

One day, it wasn’t impossible for her to emerge from here and go on a rampage across the Material Plane.

"As long as you’re satisfied, madam," Gaven said, unafraid of ambitious, lawful evil beings like Daphne. As long as you show them the hope of obtaining great power and benefits, they could temporarily restrain their desires and not stir up bizarre incidents.

But dealing with chaotic evil demons was different; they acted solely based on personal likes and dislikes, paying no mind to long-term interests and pursuing immediate gratification.

This trait was partly their nature, partly influenced by the chaotic will of the Abyss. Departing the Abyss would slightly improve this condition, yet they still resembled unstable bombs, ready to explode at any moment.

Fortunately, the Six-armed Snake Demon was exceptionally competent in all areas, smarter than most demons. Knowing the preferences of someone like Gaven, she envisaged making her future life more comfortable—she had been used as a cornerstone for Weizemay Manor’s construction, silently imprisoned for days.

In that state, she could clearly sense the passage of time and, albeit vaguely, some existence of matters in Weizemay Manor.

Yet apart from a slight perception, all her other powers were completely stripped away.
