Chapter 792: Chapter 536 Conqueror Gaven_2

"As you wish," responded Shanoba, who did not walk over but crawled instead.

It was only when they came into close contact that Gaven realized.

Not only had Shanoba’s entire body turned rose-red, but it was also emitting intense heat.

Gaven felt a tingling sensation at the base of his shoulder armor, as if something was about to grow out from there.

"What are you two doing?" The Young Red Copper Dragon, lured by the sound of a dragon’s hum, had returned.

Fortunately, Shanoba’s black dragon wings were large enough to tightly cover the junction of the two bodies.

Gaven grumbled in response, "Nothing, you go on guard. I’m examining her recent changes; her wyvern transformation seems to have undergone new changes."

"Really?" Aivensa was somewhat skeptical, questioning the need to hold her in his arms to examine her body.

"Really!" Gaven replied earnestly.

"What’s with the dragon shadows on you two?" This was what the Young Red Copper Dragon was most concerned about.

Their dragon shadows had not dissipated and were still entwined, appearing like a faint mist.

They varied in appearance, and the one emerging from Shanoba was clearly the wyvern form she transformed into.

The shadow that emerged from Gaven was much blurrier, merely the outline of a giant dragon, making it hard to discern which kind. To Aivensa, it looked more like a red copper dragon, and she was very fond of the aura it emitted, feeling a sudden urge to rush over and play.

"It’s a blessing from the Dragon Oak Mother Tree," explained Gaven, attributing everything to the Dragon Oak Mother Tree.

The truth was indeed so: his soul and body had formed a close connection with the giant dragon, beginning with the first golden Milestone of Destiny, where he had formed a mysterious link with the Dragon Oak Mother Tree.

"Then, when you have time, help me examine it too."

"Alright." Gaven exerted great determination to deal with the pestering youngster, "You go and scare away any clueless creatures trying to come here. Tonight, I’ll tell you the second half of the tale of the Heavenly Palace."

"All in one go? Without stopping halfway through?"

"All in one go, and if you keep nagging, I might just change my mind."

"Fine! Fine! Fine!" The Young Red Copper Dragon, whose attention had been shifted, walked away singing the common tongue version of "Monkey Brother" with great enthusiasm.

Amid their intense battle.

The dragon shadows that were originally like a thin mist became increasingly dense, enveloping the two completely, making them completely opaque from the outside.

Shanoba, like a cheetah, with her agile yet strong body, suddenly froze, and exclaimed in disbelief, "I’ve unlocked my professional template!"

The timing of this unlocking was a bit peculiar.

Yet, feeling the intertwining dragon shadows, it seemed somewhat normal.

Gaven asked, "What professions can you choose from?"

"Magician... Dragon Vein Sorcerer... warrior... Barbarian..." Shanoba replied.

"Barbarian!" Gaven didn’t hesitate to say, "Your main strength is your wyvern transformation, and your profession should also revolve around enhancing this ability. Although a warrior will have many additional feats later on, most of these feats are designed for humanoid form and are less useful after transformation. But a Barbarian’s Berserk State is usable both before and after transformation."

If these options were presented to a Gnoll, Gaven would have them choose a Dragon Vein Sorcerer or Magician without hesitation.

But for Shanoba, these two seemingly powerful professions were quite lackluster.

Because she was naturally endowed with thirteen Life Dice, this meant that the Experience Value she needed to unlock a professional template was as much as what a level thirteen Professional needed to advance one level.

Subsequent level ups would become exponentially more difficult.

For her to raise her Caster Level to beyond Transcendent was almost as difficult as advancing from Transcendent to Legendary; each level up was measured in years.

Two or three Caster Levels would be of marginal benefit to her.

But Barbarian was different; one Professional Level significantly bolstered her combat power immediately.

Special Abilities like Fast Movement would increase her speed, including the flight speed of her wyvern form, as these abilities became infused into her body and affected the transformation.

There was no need to mention Berserk; with Strength +4, Constitution +4, even in her humanoid form, the improvement was significant. Not to mention in her wyvern form, it would bring both her Strength and Constitution into the Transcendent level. By then, not only would her melee capability increase, but she could also spit out one or two more Strong Acid Breaths each day.

The number of Dragon Breath attacks she could make each day was closely related to the strength of her Constitution.

Roar!

Shanoba confirmed her choice through action.

Her blood surged, her eyes turned red, her muscles swelled, and her height seemed to increase by a few inches.

She had entered Berserk State for the first time in her life.

She took the initiative once again, unleashing a ferocious assault on Gaven.

Gaven instinctively checked her Attributes.

Profession: Level 1 Barbarian

Life Force: 160 (Life Dice: 13D10+1D12+84)

Attributes: Strength 17+4, Dexterity 14, Constitution 14+4, Intelligence 12, Perception 16, Charisma 19

Even in her non-transformed state, her Strength had entered the realm of Transcendent.

The significant increase in Strength and Constitution caused her muscles to tense up in an instant, giving Gaven the false sensation that she might break him, almost causing him to surrender right then and there.

He could only struggle through her frenzied attacks.

Gaven had extensive experience fighting Barbarians and knew that this state would not last long: as long as he withstood the initial onslaught, she would soon enter a state of fatigue.
