Chapter 753: Chapter 519: Who Else Can Be the Best Support If Not Me_2
I am the Abyssal King.
But having my arm severed is an undeniable reality.
The Abyssal King’s tentacle-like arm, even when severed, did not immediately turn into a dead object, but instead thrashed about crazily like a fish out of water, contorting wildly.
Especially at the stump, the blood of the Demon that gushed forth wasn’t crimson but a dark, stinking foul water, with an odor akin to a dry toilet left uncleaned for over a hundred years, a smell intoxicating to the senses.
As the severed limb flailed wildly, spraying Demon blood everywhere, the filth that landed on the flesh and blood corpses all around started to move uncontrollably, gathering together.
Notably, the corpse of King Kodi Koli began to shakily rise, heading towards the tentacle limb.
After the Abyssal King’s tentacle arm was severed, there were even signs that it was attempting to cobble together a new body for itself out of its own consciousness.
At the level of Dimogorgen, sometimes even a single drop of Demon blood could cause minor chaos in the Material Plane, let alone a tentacle severed directly from its body, which could well turn into a monstrous creature in the blink of an eye.
"Control it for me, I have a way to completely eradicate it," Gaven commanded Nightshadow, the Six-armed Snake Demon.
"You have a way to completely destroy it?" Nightshadow’s eyes were filled with disbelief.
This was the arm of the Abyssal King, after all.
How could a fledgling Transcendent have the confidence and ability?
But then again, the powers that this fellow possessed couldn’t be entirely measured by Transcendent standards. After all, it was because of him that she had become this way.
The Six-armed Snake Demon’s blades have always been faster than her brain’s processing speed. Before she finished pondering, the six Serpent Hilt Curved Swords had already been thrust simultaneously into the severed tentacle, pinning it firmly in place, while the other end was being tightly suppressed by six Shadow Walkers, with the severed limb unable to function as it did while attached to the main body.
Only then did Gaven carefully enter the room, prepared to run at the first sign of trouble.
Thankfully, the control of the Undead Vengeance domain was rather powerful, and Nightshadow didn’t betray him. On the other side, the Abyssal King, although furiously roaring, didn’t dare to act rashly anymore. His ability to reach directly into the room was not only due to the remnants of power that connected him to it but also because of the soul of King Kodi Koli, marked with a Demon’s insignia and summoning him.
Reclaiming one’s trophy, a right sanctified and protected by the force of the Multiverse Law Forces.
Now that this trophy had been destroyed by his own hand, it was impossible for him to reach through with his second arm, even though his own severed limb was right there; he couldn’t take it back.
Even if he could reach, he didn’t dare do so impulsively. Who knew if they could sever his other arm in the process?
As he approached the severed tentacle, Gaven’s hand began to glow with a brilliant light—Destroy Evil.
The Demigod Ruptured Palm, the stomach of the Nightmare Serpent.
Both had proven that this ability, even on living material and particularly evil living material, possessed extraordinary destructive power. The more malevolent the nature, the stronger the potency of this ability.
As for the laws it followed, up until now, Gaven hadn’t fully understood them.
But this ability was certainly very effective when dealing with evil entities.
This time was no exception.
In the world, no evil surpasses that of Demons and Devils, and Dimogorgen, the Abyssal King, was supreme among the evil, with his flesh, his blood, and even his breath and existence being synonymous with evil.
When the blazing white light in Gaven’s hand met the severed tentacle, it burst into flames like a spark hitting gasoline, engulfed in a roaring blaze.
Ahhh...
From beyond the Plane Barrier, a horrifying scream of agony once again resounded.
The blood-red vortex, still flickering in and out, burst with a bang and vanished without a trace.
Gaven’s Destroy Evil had severed the last tenuous link between them.
Ahhh...
Not only the severed tentacle burst into flames.
Nightshadow and the Shadow Walkers, who held it down, were also affected, and their cries of torment filled the air.
This pain did not stem from the physical, but from the soul.
Their own sins, their own malevolent obsessions, seemed to become the unique flame’s fuel, making it burn fiercer. Many things that once seemed certain were no longer so, like poison, corrupting their spirits and souls. This in turn caused their bodies to combust.
Instinctively,
Nightshadow and the Shadow Walkers released their grip on the severed tentacle.
Once they were no longer in contact, the bright white flames naturally began to ebb away.
Even Destroy Evil couldn’t truly burn away some forms of evil to oblivion. It required Gaven’s own strength as an accelerant, especially the Force of Destiny extracted from him—it was irreplaceable. Destroy Evil wasn’t simply a power to be used lightly, particularly when dealing with the extraordinary, it would involve Law Force, Force of Destiny, or more colloquially, Experience Value.
This Experience Value wasn’t directly drawn from Gaven but represented the experience he should have gained from the event being consumed in advance.
