Chapter 751: Chapter 518: The Fury of the Abyssal Prince_3
What’s important is that someone dared to tamper with his cake, which is absolutely unforgivable.
The same tentacle arm, wielded personally by Dimogorgen and in the hands of Great Kodi Koli, is incomparable.
After all, the latter is only borrowing the other’s strength, and even though the tentacle arm is grown on his body, it’s regarded as a first-contact otherworldly weapon. To be able to wield it is already commendable.
As for Dimogorgen, he has immersed himself in its use for tens, or even hundreds of thousands of years, honing its techniques to an unparalleled level.
Even the Legendary Six-armed Snake Demon who specializes in close combat is no match for him.
Just one tentacle arm was enough to put the Six-armed Snake Demon Nightshadow in a miserable situation; her usually unpredictable Short-Distance Teleportation became completely unreliable.
The tentacle arm could precisely predict Nightshadow’s teleportation exit, waiting there for her at every Attack.
It looked as if she was deliberately crashing into the Attacks.
This situation was far more dangerous than normal, as Nightshadow had no choice but to use Short-Distance Teleportation again to dodge.
Dancing on the edge of a knife meant that problems would inevitably arise over time.
Sure enough, on her third Short-Distance Teleportation, Nightshadow realized that her transport had become sluggish, as if anchored by a Dimensional Anchor.
Although it lasted only a brief moment, it was long enough for the tentacle arm’s Attack to strike her.
All the Six-armed Snake Demon could do was adjust her stance, crossing her six swords in front of her to withstand the blow.
Bang!
The force of the strike was so great that even Nightshadow was sent flying like a golf ball, her body uncontrollably trembling.
The tentacle arm’s Attack however, was relentless, immediately following up to slap Nightshadow from behind in order to finish her off with a single hit, reducing her to mush.
"You forced my hand," Nightshadow bellowed, her size visibly doubling in a blink.
This wasn’t due to her Special Ability or Spell Abilities, but the magic power of the Serpentine Bizarre Sword in her hand.
She activated Short-Distance Teleportation again, but this time, it wasn’t to dodge, but to attack.
Although the previous hit had done substantial damage to her, dispersing one-third of her Negative Energy— almost forty points of true damage—Nightshadow’s Damage Reduction was ineffective against Dimogorgen’s tentacle arm Attacks, which were regarded as better than +3 Magic Weapons.
But the Withering Attack effect that Nightshadow was most worried about still didn’t occur.
This indicated that even the formidable Abyssal King Dimogorgen was subject to the Laws, obediently accepting their limitations.
If Dimogorgen himself were present, even if she had ten times the courage, she wouldn’t dare lunge at him with a sword, nor would she have the right to do so; he could kill her alive with fewer than four Attacks, without the need for any Special Ability.
But it was just one tentacle arm; she still had a chance to fight back.
She had discovered the tentacle arm’s fatal vulnerability.
The blood vortex.
Although it moved with the tentacle arm, its range was very small, similar to the end of a real human’s arm.
That spot might not be the Attack’s blind spot, but it was the furthest distance from the arm.
But Nightshadow’s teleportation wasn’t directly toward that spot; first to the middle, then to the end, subtly stretching the tentacle out straight without it realizing.
A fully extended tentacle arm surprisingly reached twenty-seven or twenty-eight meters.
From this, it’s conceivable just how colossal the size of Lord of the Abyss Dimogorgen truly was, at least over fifteen meters. Such a size would classify him as a titan.
At that moment, Nightshadow executed a Short-Distance Teleportation, appearing next to the blood vortex, at the root of the tentacle arm.
The moment Nightshadow initiated the teleportation, Dimogorgen realized he had been duped and let out an angry roar, frantically causing the tentacle arm to retract.
But his speed, no matter how fast, could not outpace teleportation.
The reason he seemed faster than teleportation before was due to prediction, not actual speed.
When the bifurcated tentacles retracted, Nightshadow’s six Serpent Hilt Curved Swords crossed at the root of Dimogorgen’s tentacle arm, prepared to sever it just like she had previously planned to do to Great Kodi Koli’s head.
Even though the six Serpentine Bizarre Swords had grown extremely large, placing them on Dimogorgen’s tentacle arm still seemed somewhat insufficient and could not fully close.
With a furious cry from Nightshadow, her muscles bulged, employing Multi-Arm Synergy.
The clean and efficient momentum of a single cut that she had against Kodi Koli’s head did not occur this time.
Dimogorgen’s tentacle arm was incredibly elastic and tough; the sudden burst of strength only managed to cut through half of it, as the six Serpentine Bizarre Swords seemed to get stuck within it, squeezed from all sides with clenching force.
The two bifurcated tentacles reaching back also struck Nightshadow.
But the strike lacked much of the force inside, functioning out of sheer inertia, causing less damage than half of the previous hit.
Although Nightshadow didn’t manage to completely sever Dimogorgen’s tentacle arm, she did impair it at its root, weakening his use of full strength.
"How dare you! I will see you dead! All of you, dead!" the Berserk voice once again filled the entire room.
Wisps of blood mist rose from the corpses around the room, pouring into the blood vortex, feeding the Abyssal King’s tentacle arm.
The previously somewhat listless tentacle arm began to move again, albeit at a greatly reduced speed.
Dimogorgen’s ability to extend part of his body here was greatly related to the desecration Array in the room.
