For example, a one-ring spell slot is used to cast a one-ring spell, a two-ring slot is used for casting a two-ring spell, and so on.

A higher-tier spell slot can cast lower-tier spells, meaning a two-ring spell slot can cast a one-ring spell. However, a lower-tier spell slot cannot cast higher-tier spells.

Because when casting down, it simply results in the dissipation of magic power, while casting up would mean insufficient magic power and the inability to cast the spell. And the idea of combining two one-ring slots to form a two-ring spell slot is also unfeasible.

To avoid wastage, there are special Supermagic Feats that can be used in conjunction with lower-level spells, allowing them to use higher-level spell slots and achieve power comparable to higher-level spells.

Supermagic Feats are primarily divided into nine categories: Empower Spell, Extend Spell, Delay Spell, Heighten Spell, Spell Maximizing, Quickened Spell, Silent Spell, Still Spell, and Spell Extension.

Spell Extension mainly doubles the area of effect of a spell. For example, an extended Fireball Technique would have a blast coverage diameter of 24 meters instead of the original 12 meters, with other effects unchanged. However, after extension, it requires the use of a spell slot three levels higher, making it a six-ring spell.

The extended Complete Repair Technique works similarly.

Normally, a level-ten Anna can repair three cubic meters of an object, but now it’s directly increased to six cubic meters.

Don’t think six cubic meters is small, the object isn’t solid bluestone; it’s three-dimensional. If converted into bluestone walls that are fifty centimeters thick, it becomes twelve square meters, about the size of a four-meter-high bluestone wall typical for buildings.
