The place was like a complicated maze, where the corruption power, once arriving, immediately became entwined with a great amount of life energy, which began to slowly consume the power of corruption as if it had a life of its own.

When sunlight shone upon it,

The activity of the corruption power decreased, the activity of the life energy increased, and the pace of transformation and consumption evidently quickened. It wasn’t photosynthesis, but it exceeded it.

Once the decay power within the corruption was neutralized and released, what remained was the purest life force.

Then it was injected into the veins and muscles, entering another circulatory system.

Originally, Gaven thought the Corruption Furnace—like other Special Abilities—was also part of the runic network, directly engraved onto Half-Moon Colt’s soul and flesh.

They sensed the terrifying Corruption Power contained in Luna’s body.

This power was their mortal enemy, even more dangerous than fire itself.

And what shocked them further came next.

As soon as Luna entered the Great Saint Residence, the Holy Light Power there was immediately drawn to her, cascading over her wings, which took on an even richer green hue.

Just as Gaven had previously surmised.

All things come in threes.

Luna’s current unique state was induced by three types of energy.

Only when all three energies are present will her conversion speed of the Corruption Power reach its peak.
