Chapter 235: Chapter 189: Subduing the Dragon Girl_4
This time, Gaven did not use the power of the Dragon Oak Mother Tree to control her; instead, her body reacted instinctively.
The Black Dragoness had fled!
Their leader had fled without a fight!
Without the Wyvern to hold them back, what would they use to fight against the Red Copper Dragon?
"The leader’s gone, we can’t beat them, run for it!"
"Run woof..."
"Follow the leader woof..."
The Gnolls were the first to react.
The intelligence of most Gnolls and Goblins was on par, neither of them particularly bright.
This gave them a trait of blind obedience, particularly high towards those with dragon bloodlines.
As Sha’no, their leader, flew away, they did not hesitate to drop everything in hand and fled.
Some Goblin fools, seeing the Gnolls running away, stupidly followed suit.
These two species accounted for over half of the Monster Tribe, and when they ran off in a rush, only a few Hobgoblins, Orcs, and Jackalweres were left uncertainly floundering, not knowing whether to run or stay.
To run meant that victory was within sight, with piles of goods awaiting them, some of which had already been exposed—shiny weapons and armor, exceedingly tempting.
To stay meant that their leader had fled and much of the cannon fodder had gone; a group of ferocious Hobgoblin Wolf Cavalry pounced like wolves and tigers with no intent to reason with them.
It didn’t matter whether they were Hobgoblins, Orcs, Jackalweres, or the humans from the merchants’ caravans like Coachmen and guards; anyone who dared to raise a weapon was cut down without exception.
By the time the Hobgoblin Wolf Cavalry had broken through a third of the caravan, the rest of the Monster Tribe could no longer muster the courage to resist and silently turned to flee, quicker than on their arrival.
Seeing that he had no chance to join the fray, Gaven turned to Hobgoblin Warlord and said, "General Blood Claw, I leave this place to you. Whether human or monster, if they do not resist, drive them off, clear the battlefield quickly and withdraw with the goods to avoid unnecessary complications. I’m going to meet an old friend."
Because of the existence of Undead Necromancy and Resurrection Magic, there was little point in completely exterminating these people; any Transcendent Mage could obtain the information they wanted from the bodies.
With a single Fairy Step, Gaven leaped onto Aivensa’s back.
Without needing his commands, the Young Red Copper Dragon understood and chased in the direction the Wyvern had fled.
They had only crossed three mountain peaks when Gaven and his companion overtook the now-transformed-back Shanoba.
Perhaps she guessed that Gaven would surely follow and knowing she couldn’t escape, she simply stopped to wait for him, saving Gaven the effort.
With another Fairy Step, Gaven leaped down from the Young Red Copper Dragon and said to her, "Stand guard behind me, and if you notice those monsters following, inform me immediately."
"Okay." Aivensa’s recent attitude had been surprisingly proper; she did whatever was asked without question, meticulously, as if under some influence.
Gaven was pleased with this, as it made her much easier to handle.
As Gaven landed, Shanoba had already knelt down, saying respectfully, "Shanoba meets her master. I have failed to fulfill the master’s mission, please punish me."
Whether intentional or because the transformation had been too hasty,
Shanoba wore only a loose garment, not even properly fastened, which slipped down as she bowed, revealing her smooth back with faint patterns of Red Copper Dragon Scales that not only did not detract from her beauty, but added a unique charm with an enticing scent.
Especially in her current state, there was no hint of ferocity or bravery, only vulnerability and helplessness. Her words and expressions conveyed a willingness to be at one’s mercy—to be at Gaven’s mercy.
"Really, any punishment?"
His voice carried a huskiness, unable to conceal his malice.
Seemingly picking up on the subtext of Gaven’s words, Shanoba shivered involuntarily, her heart racing uncontrollably, not with fear but with a longing, as if the Giant Dragon bloodline within her was boiling.
Shanoba felt her entire being ignite with excitement at Gaven’s words.
But to Gaven’s eyes, she appeared trepidatious, a blush spreading from her face and even tinting her smooth back, making the dragon scale patterns seem deeper as she replied in a trembling voice, "Any punishment will do."
Gaven’s gaze flickered as he sat on a nearby boulder, tucked in his Combat Armor, and patted his knee, "Come sit."
"As you command." The responding Shanoba didn’t walk over but crawled.
It wasn’t that she wanted to humiliate herself in this way; her legs were simply too shaky from excitement to stand properly.
This unintentionally further stimulated and fueled Gaven’s wicked desires, his male instinct of control overpowering him.
When Shanoba finally settled into Gaven’s arms, the garment that barely covered her had already slipped off, revealing her delicate figure trembling slightly in the air.
As they came into close contact, Gaven realized,
Not only had Shanoba’s body turned a shade of rosy red, but it also radiated intense heat.
After she entered his embrace, she needed no hints from Gaven, as Shanoba knew precisely what to do.
Both of them sighed in unison.
