Chapter 1413: Chapter 737 Half-Ogre Troll_3

This time, no one backed the Half-Ogre. All the tribal leaders retreated faster into the distance, fearing collateral damage.

"It seems the Blood Claw General is genuinely intent on facilitating this alliance. I was overthinking it. I’ll return them to you."

Wuerkrna casually tossed the half-mangled Troll Chief and the completely unrecognizable Orc Chieftain, whom he had trampled, back to Blood Claw, indifferently sitting back down. He said to the surrounding tribal leaders, "Why run so far? Do you really think I want to eat a Troll? The flesh is tough and hard. I’m just probing the Blood Claw General’s true intentions for you. He indeed wants the alliance to succeed. We can afford him a degree of trust."

This guy’s actions exemplified cunning deceit, possessing a craftiness incongruous with his massive frame.

No one believed his action was mere probing. If Blood Claw hadn’t reacted so strongly, he would have devoured the entirety of the Troll Tribe and Orc Tribes.

Now, he’s turned into a good guy instead.

Blood Claw reached out and caught the broken bodies of the Troll Chief and Orc Chieftain. Waving his left hand, the regeneration necklace on his chest flickered, first casting a regeneration spell on the Orc Chieftain, followed by several healing spells.

He forcefully dragged both back from death’s door, and then unceremoniously tossed them aside.

As long as no further harm was inflicted upon them, given their formidable life force, they would recover significantly within a short time. Transcendent vitality is no joke.

Everyone’s gaze involuntarily fell on Blood Claw’s regeneration necklace, filled with unconcealed envy and greed.

The legends seem true; the Conqueror Army has fully utilized the Troll Kingdom’s regeneration gems, crafting them into even more potent magic equipment.

The Hobgoblins in Blood Gorge City benefited as well, not only Blood Claw bore a regeneration necklace, but the five Blood Oath Warlords armed to the teeth behind him did too.

Their terrifying combat prowess was now augmented by Cloud Giant stature, Troll-like regeneration ability, and Priest healing spells. How can such foes be resisted?

Just the six of them could massacre most tribes.

This time, it was Blood Claw’s turn to coldly gaze down at the Half-Ogre, warning, "This sort of affair will happen only once. If there is a next time, no matter the cost, I’ll take you down first."

"No need for this useless posturing," the Half-Ogre nonchalantly waved it off, "let’s officially begin! Whatever the case, east of the Conquest Path, north of Giant Peak, all the pastures and lands belong to our Beast Demon Tribe. I’ll give you ten days to vacate. Ten days later, whether they’re part of the alliance or not, I’ll turn them into slaves and sustenance."

Wuerkrna bared his fangs directly, opening his mouth to swallow a quarter of the Human Plains.

"King Ulkruna, you’re being far too domineering."

"Doing this is destructive to the alliance."

"Our alliance seeks ways to cohabit peacefully, not to expand your territory."

Before Blood Claw could voice objections, several tribal leaders burst into uproar. At least three or four tribe territories lay partially here, with over half adjoining.

The aggressiveness displayed by the Beast Demon Tribe now was not weaker than the Hobgoblins of Blood Gorge City and infinitely more brutal. From the Half-Ogre devouring a Troll alive, one could glimpse this; they definitely consume meat without sparing the bones.

"An alliance without the strength to uphold it is a joke. In this world, it’s always survival of the fittest. If I eat you today, it’s because you’re too weak. Someday, if you grow strong enough, you’re welcome to eat me back."

The Half-Ogre’s response was as blood-stained as his teeth. He couldn’t care less about those tribal leaders’ reactions, staring intently at Blood Claw, "Let’s stand in the sunlight and speak plainly."

Don’t treat others like fools; who doesn’t know what you have in mind?

Recently, you’ve been devouring too much, too quickly, and suffering indigestion. You need a peaceful digestion period.

Then show some sincerity, give others some benefits.

The one who can become the king of the Human Plains, let’s finally speak with our fists."

This Half-Ogre didn’t want to follow Blood Claw’s script but prepared his own.

Blood Claw contemplated briefly and surprisingly nodded, saying, "As long as you pay the specified amount of tribute, we’ll do as you say. Even if they’re slaves, as long as they belong to your tribe, they’ll count as one person."

His mindset had been influenced by Gaven, regarding growth speed, he hadn’t feared anyone yet.

The Half-Ogre wanted to compete on this front; he might have miscalculated and would ultimately aid them in succeeding.

This strong display by King Ulkruna had another advantage too; it helped Blood Gorge City deflect some attention, pulling focus from many Monster Tribes onto them.

Sure enough, Blood Claw’s nod startled the other tribes.

"Blood Claw General, you can’t do this. That is our tribe’s location. If it’s ceded to the Beast Demon Tribe, where will our tribe settle?"

"Regarding this matter, I think we should discuss further and not rush."

"We should unite against external threats, not scheme internally."

"I’ve already given you an opportunity, you just didn’t cherish it."

"We agree to pay tribute, but the Blood Claw General should also fulfill his duty to protect us."

With the Half-Ogre’s disruptions, the stalemated Giant Plains alliance actually started to move forward, only now the situation transformed from a standoff between two armies into a three-way melee, each striving for its own advantage.
