Chapter 1389: Chapter 729 Legendary Constitution Reward_3
This is a typical trade-off of future growth potential for present power. Gaven would never make such a shortsighted decision unless absolutely necessary.
It’s important to emphasize here that the rewards for Transcendent, Legendary, and Divine Attributes are sequentially unlocked. Even if Attribute Points reach the divine level initially, without first unlocking Transcendent rewards, not to mention divine reward options, even Legendary ones cannot be seen.
This is because the options that follow are not predefined but evolve based on the choices made earlier and a range of abilities one possesses.
Gaven’s Strength is now in such a situation. After all, he is not a Warrior in the true sense in this lifetime and rarely uses his own Strength in battles.
Plus, this aspect has always been a shortcoming. Once he slightly caught up, he gained the Pillaging Destructive Arms, which has its own Strength attribute and starts directly at the Legendary level. Naturally, there’s no hurry in this aspect anymore.
The most important thing is that his Strength options have always been ordinary and mediocre, with two general selections that Gaven found unimpressive. He wanted to wait and see if there was an opportunity to gain new abilities that could develop into something more extraordinary.
And indeed, he managed to wait for it.
Shape-Shifting Echo (Special Ability) — Transcendent Strength Reward, when you complete shape-shifting, you can choose to retain the Strength Points of the shape-shifted creature as if it were your own intrinsic Strength attribute. In Strength checks, it is also considered one size category larger until you activate another shape-shift slot.
With this ability, when Gaven returns to the human state, his Strength Points can be retained at 24.
The main reason Gaven chose this ability is that it’s not static; it grows stronger along with his shape-shifting abilities. For now, it only increases Strength by four points.
When Gaven attains Advanced Hyper-state Change and can transform into giant or even super giant beings, upon returning to human form, the Strength Points will increase by at least eight, which is not a negligible number.
As for the legendary Strength reward option, since there was nothing that appealed to Gaven, he habitually set it aside first.
Although various attributes haven’t been chosen, it doesn’t mean Gaven can’t appreciate the splendor of the Divine Constitution.
Attribute rewards are just manifestations of reaching this stage with Magic Power but do not represent everything. At least there are also a series of hidden traits that only emerge after reaching this point, to be explored and felt slowly.
Gaven let out a low Hou, the blue fur on the giant bear began to congest, its ends turning blood-red, and the already exaggerative muscles became even more exaggerative, with an almost explosive feeling.
Endless rage surged wildly within Gaven’s body, yet his mind remained exceptionally clear, keeping everything firmly under his control.
Cognizant Berserk.
This must be the perfect fusion of Gaven’s strong Intelligence, Constitution, and the special ability of Spirit Flesh Integration, allowing his reason to override the berserk impulse generated by the flesh.
This is one of the ultimate pursuits of those Barbarians, to have their Berserk Ability under their control.
Ordinary Barbarians find it hard to achieve this. Only those who have stepped into the Legendary realm have the chance to do so with the help of Legendary profession feat Strength.
After all, they could never have the three powerful intrinsic attributes like Gaven throughout their lives, much less possess such a unique Special Ability.
This aspect, the extraordinary attributes, has already unlocked a series of Special Abilities belonging to other Professionals for Gaven.
Transcendant Body is the ultimate pursuit of the Martial Monks’ legendary ability.
Cognizant Berserk is the Legendary pursuit of Barbarians.
The might of the Ferocious Blue Bear Transformation already rivals most Druids’ Bestial Transformation.
"Is this the transformation ability of the High-level Totem Spirit Blue Bear? Is the Spirit Totem Transformation really this powerful? Just with this body type and the power contained in it, our Legendary Druid’s Ferocious Brown Bear transformation is nothing more than this."
"Ordinary Spirit Totem Transformations shouldn’t be this powerful, at most large-sized. This should be related to the fact that the opposite party is a holder of the High-level Totem Spirit Blue Bear, hence the transformation is stronger than ordinary Spirit Totem Transformations."
"No wonder the evil god Magla dared to risk causing the danger of a Divine War to steal this High-level Totem Spirit from the Father of Battle, it indeed has its unique aspects."
"If we truly could persuade him to present it to the Leaf Lord, our Green Elf Druids’ bear transformations could possibly advance further; reaching this extent might not be impossible."
"Convincing him to present the Blue Bear to the Leaf Lord might not be easy. Although he is a Half-Elf, his blood is already quite diluted. Comparatively, he seems closer to the human pantheon, making the possibility of returns to the rightful owner more likely."
"But without trying, how can we be sure it won’t work? Since he hasn’t done it yet, he must be waiting for the right price."
"Berserk? A Cognizant Berserk that can be controlled by one’s will? This is truly terrifying!"
"If I’m not mistaken, his Constitution has at least stepped into the Legendary, even reaching the Divine level. Even from this distance, I can feel the pulse of his life and power."
"Now I can’t help but wonder, is he the Druid, or am I? In his presence, my Bestial Transformation seems somewhat lacking."
"It seems he has already begun, found the essence of this ritual."
Gaven indeed held the Wild Ritual alone, but in the dense forest, countless eyes were watching his every move.
The result truly shocked these Wild Elves, especially the Druids among them, feeling their years of practice had gone to waste as a non-professional did better than them.
After activating the Blue Bear Transformation, Gaven effortlessly found the key to this Bestial Transformation, the totems around the ritual circle clearly had the effect of delaying the transformation ability.
Even though the Blue Bear Totem Transformation’s duration ended, he still remained in the Blue Bear transformation state, although he could cancel it with a single thought.
However, he didn’t do so. With the thick fur after transformation, he no longer had to endure the cold.
After the Wild Ritual ended, the Blue Bear Totem Transformation underwent a new change—the original duration disappeared.
This means that as long as Gaven doesn’t cancel the transformation, he can remain in the Ferocious Blue Bear state permanently.
This counts as experiencing the allure of an Eternal Transformation in advance.
The benefits, Gaven took them all, but he outright refused to present the High-level Totem Spirit Blue Bear to the Leaf Lord. Trying to win him over with just this little wasn’t nearly sufficient.
He wasn’t even willing to engage with these stubborn, rigid Wild Elves. Once the Wild Ritual ended, he simply greeted their leader, Benaivedes, and patted his back before leaving.
