Chapter 1106: Chapter 635: Rebuilding the New City of Faith_2

As the soul transferred, Lady Strategy and Checkboard Bastion flew higher and fainter until they completely disappeared. Before vanishing, the Goddess of Strategy’s words echoed softly in Gaven’s ears, "The mist over the Far Sea Marsh is no ordinary fog; to plot for that area, you’ll need a more meticulous plan and more detailed intelligence."

Though it was only a few words, Gaven instantly gleaned much from them. The Goddess of Strategy was reminding him that if his chasing troops rushed into the Far Sea Marsh following the defeated soldiers, it could potentially lead to the annihilation of his entire army.

She obviously knew something about the Far Sea Marsh, but due to the constraints of her divine position, she couldn’t speak plainly to Gaven, only offer hints in this manner. Such a cryptic way of speaking wasn’t unique to Lady Strategy; all True Gods acted this way. It wasn’t that they wanted to seem profound, but rather their divine positions didn’t allow it. They could only communicate through riddles or hints, leaving their believers to interpret and puzzle out their meanings—a process which sometimes led to the right conclusions, but other times led to many a misdirection and detour, creating a reputation for the gods that was hard to fathom.

Alert to this, Gaven did not immediately address the situation. There was still some distance before the monster soldiers would be driven into the Far Sea Marsh. Now that the Divine War had ended, without Checkboard Bastion collecting souls, the War Ravager would soon have to take action himself. Gaven decided he would inspect the Far Sea Marsh in person later. For now, the priority was to attend to the aftermath of the battle, and there were still many tasks that needed his direct involvement.

Seizing the moment when all eyes were on him, Gaven, holding the War Ravager aloft, proclaimed loudly: "Rejoice, my people, for I can proudly announce that our immigration has been successful. Though many of us still have a long way to go, no one can pose a threat to us any longer. All that awaits us are glory and flowers. You may all proudly call yourselves Conquerors, for it is you who have tread the Conqueror Path with your own feet. You’ve crafted these splendid victories with your lives and blood. And we have won a Divine War for the great Goddess of Strategy.

These glories belong to the Goddess, to me, and more importantly, to you; they belong to all of us.

Since we now have the Bridge of Faith raised by our beliefs, let us build our own City of Immigrant right here with our hands and convictions. I shall use the power granted by Your Majesty to bless this land, ensuring Favorable Weather, making it the most productive land in Felen. Please, pray earnestly to Your Excellency of Stratagems so that she may grant me greater strength to bless more land."

At the end of his speech, Gaven pointed the War Ravager toward the eastern bank of the Bridge of Human God and unleashed the Favorable Weather Chosen Ability directly at that area.

Suddenly, a force palpable to everyone enveloped the land there, with countless elements converging in that direction. Notably, a cloud—neither large nor small—showed exceptional eagerness, varying in height and direction, giving the sensation that it was not merely a cloud, but an intelligent being.

Gaven clearly noticed the cloud’s unusual nature and even felt a familiar, cordial presence from it. But given the critical moment of casting, and no hostility detected from it, he had no choice but to ignore it for now.

The area affected by Favorable Weather had a direct correlation with Intelligence—the higher the Intelligence, the larger the coverage. As it was a continuous Magic Effect, this Intelligence could not be the result of Special Ability, nor could it come from external Magic Equipment bonuses, but had to be one’s Intrinsic Attributes. Even so, Gaven still held an advantage not possessed by ordinary people. Having just gained six points of Intelligence, he now had 27 points, with an Intelligence Modifier of (27-10)/2=8.5, where 10 points represent the natural wisdom value that normal intelligent life possesses; the extra intelligence is halved to arrive at the Intelligence Modifier. This calculation method applied to the other five Attributes as well, and you could also call it "the Magic Effects of the Attributes that exceed those of ordinary people."

The 8.5 square kilometers of land sounded not so vast, but if converted into the common unit of mu (Chinese acre), it amounted to nearly thirteen thousand mu.

In Felen, with rough cultivation, the yield for wheat per mu was roughly between 150 to 200 kilograms. With intensive farming, this could be doubled, reaching 300 to 400 kilograms.

With Magic intervention, such as the Druid’s third-level Spell Plant Growth and careful farming, this could double again, to 600-800 kilograms.

But for the highest yield in Felen, the increase was not a mere doubling from that basis, but starting directly from 2000 kilograms.

Under the influence of Magic, the crops would automatically adjust their genes, achieving optimal conditions in all aspects—grain size reaching the maximum for its species, quantity at its highest, and even taste far surpassing ordinary varieties.

This was particularly evident with the second batch of grapes from Weizemay Manor. With the first batch as a comparison, the difference was so vast that one couldn’t help but question whether they even came from the same grapevine.
