Chapter 1103: Chapter 634 High-Order Artifact War Ravager_2
The blinding light enveloped both the Fine Gold Warhammer and the Red Knight’s Incarnation, making it impossible to discern the situation within.
Everything happened quickly and vanished just as fast. In only a few minutes, the light dissipated, and Lady Strategy handed the Fine Gold Hammer, which had undergone another round of subtle adjustments, to Gaven, saying, "Inject a bit more Undead Divinity, and everything will return to Balance."
Taking the Fine Gold Hammer, Gaven followed her instructions without hesitation.
As the Undead Divinity was infused, the Fine Gold Hammer flew from his hand, floating in the air. Its size began at super micro and grew to super giant, then shrank back down to a normal medium size. This single spectacle made Gaven swallow nervously because he understood the significance it represented. It meant that the Fine Gold Hammer’s Size Adjustment had undergone another round of expansion, encompassing all nine Body Types.
At its smallest, it was less than one centimeter, lighter than a feather. If you weren’t bothered by the discomfort of a foreign object in your ear, you could carry it like the Monkey King by tucking it into your ear.
At its largest, the size exceeded twenty meters, with a terrifying weight of 1,200 tons. Its weight alone could induce Fear. For a moment, Gaven couldn’t think of a comparison; after all, a semi-trailer truck loaded with heavy materials like iron ore weighs just over fifty tons, including the vehicle itself. It would take more than twenty such trucks to match its weight. Gaven surmised that no one in this world could wield a hammer of such weight, at least not at the mortal stage. Often, there was no need for combat; by merely changing to its largest size, it would demonstrate destructive Strength. For instance, upon a ship or within the body of certain special creatures (Divine Root or Legendary Carrier Bug).
The most significant external change was the engraving of "Whore Slayer" being replaced by "War Ravager," while the other side now bore Lady Strategy’s Holy Emblem, declaring to the world the origin of the Warhammer. As for vanity and gathering faith, of course, people had to know. Aesthetic-wise, it shifted from a style of Undead Fear to the dignified solemnity of the Goddess of Strategy.
Gaven paid more attention to Attributes adjustments. Sure enough, the capability for Size Adjustment expanded yet again in an unthinkable way. It was no longer merely a Divine Artifact but had become a High-Order Artifact, treated as a +8 Fine Gold weapon. By wielding it to strike an enemy, Gaven would inflict an additional +8 damage, enough to compensate for any shortfall in his professional damage. That said, when the War Ravager’s size became immensely terrifying, it was purely a contest of Strength. Any damage calculations became meaningless, as the enemies would be crushed unless they were extraordinary beings with little chance of survival.
Artifacts are classified in hierarchy: sub-divine artifact, divine artifact, high-order artifact, supreme divine artifact.
A sub-divine artifact indicates that the weapon has breached mortal limits, possessing unimaginable unique Abilities. However, compared to a true divine artifact, it lacks a bit as its powers remain within mortal limits but are just top-tier.
The Fine Gold Hammer was at this level when it first took shape. The incomplete Insight Gemstone was in this category, as was the Death Roar ability before Philancy’s assistance in extraction. Now, both the freshly acquired Pillaging Destructive Arms and the Combat Armor enhanced by the blessings of Lady Strategy had entered this tier.
After a thorough inventory, Gaven could be considered clad in half-divine gear. His opulence exceeded most Legendary figures, many of whom might never acquire even two sub-divine artifacts in their entire lives. His strength mostly came from these equipments; no matter who wore them, they would possess incredible power.
A divine artifact implies that it has been endowed with more Divine Nature, unlocking powers only Gods possess. The Fine Gold Hammer became this tier after its second Enhancement. Soul Siphon was a power exclusive to Gods.
A high-order artifact possesses multiple Divine Natures and Abilities. Not just mortals, but many True Gods lack such an item. Its specific powers depend on the artifact itself, but each would be capable of altering the dynamics of a nation or even the entire world.
The supreme divine artifact is the most powerful weapon known to mortals. Each is not just unique but also sole in all of time and across all Planes. Their creation is rare, often coming into existence alongside the upheavals of the world. For example, the Destiny Tablets that provoked Ao’s wrath and triggered The Year of Upheaval are of this caliber.
Another example is the Hickric Scripture that Shylock is currently forging. Upon completion, it will also be of this tier. Even Shylock, as the Creator of this artifact, fell into madness after perusing the text, which can only hint at how terrifying it actually is.
In fact, Gaven carries such a supreme divine artifact—Tears of Sulun, a gift from the Moon Goddess Sulun that has already circled his Soul twice for protection, albeit having suffered catastrophic damage and currently convalescing within his Soul. Whether it could recover remained uncertain.
The Sound of Mad Sacrifice, Whore Slayer, Vampire’s Touch, Undead Vengeance Realm, Chain Anchor Assault, Indestructible, and Shadow Coliseum underwent no changes, whereas the Divine Nature Space was adjusted, now more spectacular in size and capable of accommodating a thousand people simultaneously, organized internally like a castle barracks, with rooms designated for individual occupants.
