Chapter 1038: Chapter 612: Final Decision with a Hammer_3
"I’ll go to your mother..." The Spirit Soul Naga almost burst out cursing, one second you’re putting on airs like you’re the shit, the next you turn into a tattletale elementary school kid, what’s that about?
"Then lock him up in solitary for three days," Gaven responded casually.
Before the words had fully left his mouth, the Shadow Power rapidly drained from the Spirit Soul Naga, and a sense of emptiness suddenly overwhelmed his heart. Soon, Alhashan discovered that even his Soul Consciousness was no longer under his control. It was drawn out with the rest and plunged into an Endless Void where there was no sound, no space, no light—nothing but endless darkness and emptiness. It seemed like he was the only one existing between heaven and earth.
Even time seemed to have stopped. The Spirit Soul Naga knew it wasn’t that time had ceased, but that he had lost his points of reference, making it impossible to judge accurately.
And this situation was to last for a whole three days.
Just thinking about this, the Spirit Soul Naga couldn’t help feeling despair. Under these circumstances, three days would feel like three years.
He finally understood why the Six-armed Snake Demon constantly urged the other to use this method to punish him. Surely, that twisted creature had tasted what it was like to be confined here and wanted everyone else to experience it.
Gaven, of course, was very aware of the Six-armed Snake Demon’s sadistic taste but had no intention of stopping it. He was somewhat indulgent, not simply because she was the first in her combat strength under his command, but also because of the special nature of Weizemay Manor.
To put it bluntly, this place was a special prison of his. Except for Estelle and Amanda, who were originally from here, look at who came after—all of them?
Not one is excluded; they were all once Gaven’s enemies.
Daphne, the Six-armed Snake Demon, Razorback Claw, and the others were just jailers promoted from these prisoners to help him manage this special prison and provide him with support for his strength.
Bad eggs need bad eggs to grind. To make these enemies quickly change their attitudes and become jailers loyal to him, there had to be a sadistically inclined individual like the Six-armed Snake Demon. After all, when the time came, the hatred would be directed at her, and he could step back and play the good guy.
Once there was an appropriate outlet, the Six-armed Snake Demon wouldn’t cause him any more trouble.
Seeing Gaven locking the Spirit Soul Naga in solitary, the Six-armed Snake Demon showed a gratified and satisfied expression. She was looking forward to seeing that cunning fellow come out broken, as only those who had been in that environment knew the horror of endless emptiness. There, existence was entirely at the level of consciousness, with no need for sleep, nor any concept of it, because the abundant energy kept the Soul Consciousness unprecedentedly clear.
Of course, that referred to the state of being in solitary. Whether the consciousness was awake or asleep was up to Gaven.
If all Soul Consciousnesses were in an endlessly awake state, those used as foundational cornerstones would surely collapse eventually. Any Soul Consciousness Gaven didn’t intend to tame and employ would enter a deep sleep.
But having sent one away, there was still another.
The Six-armed Snake Demon eagerly turned her attention to the Lizard Queen.
This guy’s life force really was tenacious; his head had been hammered into a mushy watermelon, yet he still hadn’t died. Countless flesh buds writhed madly, seeming to want to repair his head anew. Without question, this was the operation of her special ability over her body taking effect; a regeneration ability of ten points had made her a match for a Troll, allowing her to survive even if her head were decapitated and to grow a new one, for her body was rich in nutrients.
The prerequisite was, her enemies permitted her to do this.
Five-Willow Overstate Full Form stood unmoving, leaning on the maximally enlarged Fine Gold Hammer, firmly pressing it on the crushed head of the Lizard Queen. The weight of the Fine Gold Hammer, combined with the strength of the Five-Willow Overstate Full Form, would be difficult for the Lizard Queen to forcefully escape from even at her peak, let alone now, in her half-dead state.
The True Shadow Brigade moved out.
As Gaven communicated with Weizemay Manor, the readied True Wraiths answered the call. However, they didn’t materialize; instead, they continuously poured into the body of the Lizard Queen, directly beginning battle inside her, severing all her life force.
Gaven also said to Daphne, "Prepare to receive this dragon corpse at Mesnoel. I want you to blast every bit of profit off her body for me."
"Understood." Daphne replied, her figure disappearing as she returned to Mesnoel to prepare. This task was routine for her; after all, it wasn’t their first dragon slaying—and probably wouldn’t be their last.
Even for ordinary people, a Giant Dragon was treasure all over, let alone for the Conqueror Army that possessed Gnolls.
Dragon Blood could be used to concoct Dragon Blood Potions; Black Dragon attributes were the same as those of the Red Copper Dragon, both of the Earth Attribute. Yet there was a subtle difference; the Red Copper Dragon was relatively purer, while the Black Dragon’s was mixed with some Water Attribute. Thus, the Dragonization, Dragon Blood, and Dragon Vein Ability that would be activated in the Gnolls wouldn’t be exactly the same.
Dragon Scales, after special treatment, could be forged into Dragon Scale Armor.
Dragon Bones could be used to forge weapons and armor or to concoct special Skeleton Undead.
Dragon Tendons were the best ropes for Ballista Carts; those made with them were named Dragon Tendon Siege Engines, and their power was sure to surpass ordinary ballistae.
Dragon Flesh, after special treatment, was the world’s most delicious ingredient. Many wealthy individuals would spend a fortune just to taste dragon meat, for in many legends, dragon meat was said to have the special ability of Nourishing Yin and Strengthening Yang.
Whether dragon meat truly had such powers was still up for debate, but their reproductive systems did possess similar effects, making them the darling of Alchemists. They could use them to concoct certain special potions, deeply favored by the wealthy and noble ladies alike.
In short, once it reached their hands, even Dragon Dung had to be bought with gold. Plants grown with Dragon Dung as fertilizer really were different; some particularly special Dragonkin-related herbs could only grow where Dragon Dung had accumulated, as the digestive systems of Giant Dragons were very different from common folk. They were like huge elemental furnaces, providing them with super-strong digestive capabilities; not just flesh and bone could be forcibly extracted for nutrients, but even soil and rocks.
Among humans, "eating dirt" was just an idiom, but in the case of Giant Dragons, it could really happen. They not only ate soil but also consumed large amounts of metals or crystals like diamonds. The former was a particular preference of Metal Dragons, and the latter was a hobby of Crystal Dragons because doing so would further enhance their own abilities.
Produced by such formidable beings, do you think it was ordinary droppings?
