Chapter 1035: Chapter 611: Duncan’s Greater Disjunction_3

From that moment on, the sky was the limit for birds, the sea wide open for fish, and no one would ever control him again.

Thus, faced with Five-Willow Overstate Full Form’s swinging Fine Gold Hammer, Gaven neither dodged nor avoided, and was hammered solidly.

Upon the Spirit Soul Naga, Gaven regained his faith in the Fine Gold Hammer. It wasn’t that the lethality of this thing had diminished, but the Lizard Queen’s abilities were too freakish, too restraining.

As for the current state of the Spirit Soul Naga, imagine what would happen if you took an eight-pound hammer to a coiled-up common snake and smashed it: that was pretty much the state of the Spirit Soul Naga, only dozens of times larger.

Blood splattered everywhere, and the long snake body was broken into several pieces on the spot, sticking to the ground, dead as could be, with no second possibility.

A phantom image of the Spirit Soul Naga emerged from its corpse, cackling triumphantly as it slowly faded away. He had waited for this day for a whole century, and today he finally got his wish.

But the next second, the smile on the monstrous face froze as endless streams of strange, ash-green power poured into his body, making him more and more visible, weakening the force that had torn him away until it vanished.

"How can this be? How can this be? Why is this happening?" The Spirit Soul Naga, now in Nightshadow Form, couldn’t believe his hiss, shouldn’t he have been reborn in that secret lair he had chosen himself? Why was he still here?

"Shocked, aren’t you? Stupefied, right? Haha... You’ve escaped the old shackles, but new ones await you here, and this new shackles can’t be cut with a mere Greater Disenchantment, haha..." the Six-armed Snake Demon gloated, enjoying the look of disbelief on the Spirit Soul Naga’s face.

Especially since the other was the epitome of joy turning into bitter sadness, falling from one extreme to the other, resulting in a richer sense of grief and anger.

Gaven’s Undead Vengeance Realm was stolen from a deity’s God Power, capable of severing both Abyssal and Hell Marks and preventing them from resurrecting; let alone a Spirit Soul Naga, whose Fearless Rebirth was, in essence, no different from that of devils or demons.

After death, they use the essence of their souls to absorb Magic Force and reconstruct their bodies.

But if the very essence of the soul was diverted completely, where would the rebirth come from?

Even if reborn, it would be under the will of Gaven, according to his Will.

The Spirit Soul Naga was not truly stupid; after the initial shock, he immediately found the cause: "This isn’t just manipulation of Shadow Power; this is Divine Nature Strength. You’ve stolen the power of an Undead God. Don’t you know that this will invoke the wrath of the gods?"

"The premise is that the god still has this ability," the Six-armed Snake Demon sneered coldly. "You shouldn’t worry about this; what you should consider is how to be loyal to your new master, to prove your worth to him, so he uses you as a useful unit rather than just a foundation stone, my Lord. I suggest this chaotic evil creature shouldn’t be trusted too much straight away; be careful he might bite back. He should be transformed into a foundation stone for Weizemay Manor, to let him reflect in the endless silence and find a new life’s purpose."

When it comes to chaotic, evil playthings, this Six-armed Snake Demon was a classic. She took great interest – particularly in disciplining – those True Wraiths who had recently joined Weizemay Manor, especially the more powerful ones.

She relished seeing them enraged yet having to obey; the more they appeared thus, the more pleasure she found.

In the past few days, her main energy had been spent on Razorback Claw; just as she was starting to tire of him, along came another, likely even two. On the other side was another burning with rage.

"No need; he is still useful right now." Gaven gestured to the Lizard Queen.

"That’s right; before this, you had already completely offended her, sucking up all the Hatred," the Six-armed Snake Demon chuckled.

The Lizard Queen, furious, focused her ire on the Spirit Soul Naga, even beyond Gaven and the others. With an angry roar, she unleashed a fresh round of Strong Acid Breath directly at the Spirit Soul Naga.

Gaven, the Six-armed Snake Demon, and Razorback Claw were each masters of close combat; without a chance to attack, they would consciously create opportunities. Now with the Lizard Queen’s defenses down, how could they let it pass?

The Six-armed Snake Demon went full Speed, directly circumventing to the side of the Lizard Queen.

Razorback Claw sprang to the other side, not out of any tacit cooperation but purely because he’d been tormented by the Six-armed Snake Demon and wanted to stay as far away as possible from her.

Gaven, however, swung the Fine Gold Hammer, again aiming for the Lizard Queen’s short neck, which was relatively easier to strike.

Bang! Sizzle! Sizzle!

The three attacks landed with ease.

Because the Lizard Queen had no intention of dodging their attacks. Her attention was all on the Spirit Soul Naga.

The rage caused by the betrayal in the heat of battle had completely filled her mind. All she wanted was to catch the damn long snake and chew it thousands of times. Only this could quench the hatred that consumed her.

Even without defense, the injuries inflicted by Gaven and the others on the Lizard Queen were relatively insignificant.

Especially for the Six-armed Snake Demon and Razorback Claw, they swung their weapons wildly, leaving a bunch of terrifying-looking wounds on the Lizard Queen, even chopping off a lot of flesh, but comparatively little blood flowed; they hadn’t even broken through the fatty layer of the Lizard Queen’s skin, let alone reached the vital organs wrapped inside.

Only Five-Willow Overstate Full Form saw some effectiveness, scraping off a portion of the fatty tissue and Dragon Scales, revealing the underlying muscle tissue. Yet it was still far from the effect Gaven desired.

But this hammer strike also brought the Lizard Queen out of her frenzy. Dropping the Spirit Soul Naga, she lay down, returning to her defensive stance, unconcerned with the Six-armed Snake Demon and Razorback Claw, focusing intently on Five-Willow Overstate Full Form.
