The Village Head snorted coldly, “What’s the use of me meddling? Do you expect me to beg the Qiao family for their forgiveness?”

The Village Head’s words were clear and direct—he had decided to watch how things would unfold. If Mrs. Liang could not sincerely apologize to Madam Liu’s children and appease her anger, she had no hope of anything else.
