Seeing the dark circles under the villagers’ eyes but energetic demeanor, Mo Yan couldn’t help but be torn between laughter and tears. After greeting everyone, she didn’t beat around the bush and directly had Tang Xin and the four supervisors distribute the money.

Each family sent one representative to collect the silver. Every time Mo Yan read out a name and announced the amount of silver that family would receive, a gasp of surprise sounded from within the crowd.

Each person whose name was called thanked Mo Yan before taking the shiny silver in hand and standing in front of their families, sharing the joy with their loved ones.

They even gave their teams extremely "mighty and impressive" names; one was called the Rocket Team and the other, the Aircraft Carrier Team.

Out of the four animals, the Golden Beast was the fastest and Mao Tuan was the slowest. Yet, their cooperation and synergy made their combined might formidable.

By contrast, Little Flower and Dabai, long acquaintances and of the same kind, should have been more in sync. But Little Flower harbored ill intentions toward Dabai. Despite spending over a year together, Little Flower hadn’t "progressed further" with Dabai and took this opportunity to eagerly take advantage of Dabai.

But Dabai was not so easy to take advantage of. Every time Little Flower deliberately rubbed up against Dabai, he quickly moved away. Even when the ball was within paw’s reach, it was snatched away by the Rocket Team due to Little Flower’s interference.

Fed up with Little Flower holding them back and harassing him, Dabai could no longer tolerate it and bit him hard. This bite was real; there was no mercy shown.
