Chapter 58: 055. The Pacifist Fighter.

A strange situation was now becoming even bizarre. Despite the tension fading as a result of Randa’s spontaneous action, everyone still didn’t fully understand what might happen.

Galih and Johan were instantly serious and their entire bodies were tense, so ready for an unexpected battle. Meanwhile, Farel was grinning and still in a relaxed state but his right hand was twitching slightly as a sign of impatience.

Ignoir who did not understand the situation but realized that this was a dangerous time. She immediately stood up with a very focused gaze.

Jessica looked so scared that she could only sit behind Ignoir, but of course she was more than 1 meter away from the wolf-eared girl, because the only person she trusted was her own uncle.

The big men who controlled the goat monsters were now more vigilant. Their worries could be reflected in the goat monsters that stayed in place but shook like old machines that were forced to start.

Randa lifted the back of Ardi’s shirt like she was lifting a cat she found on the street.

The man’s eyes looked watery as if he was about to cry while his hands were raised up to his chin, both hands clenched tightly and pressed together as if praying that he would not be harmed.

No...

Maybe it’s the other way around...

Randa glanced at the frozen goat monsters as well as the one who got nitrogen overdose who was now sitting up to allow his brain to process properly.

The large, muscular woman glanced at the small man whose height did not even reach her chest if they stood next to each other.

"A... Anu... I didn’t intend to do anything dangerous," Ardi said in a pitying tone.

But that look didn’t affect Randa, and if any feelings were stirred, it was disgust.

Was Ardi doing it out of pure intentions or was it a threat mixed with mockery?

One thing was certain, the nitrogen-controlling man in front of her right now had tremendous destructive potential and right now, he was begging?

"Ckh, you’re disgusting," said Randa who looked at Ardi angrily.

"We... We don’t... need to... fight," said a stammering Ardi.

That sentence made Randa even more mad and she wanted to hit the man with her own hands.

As the muscular woman raised her clenched fist, Ardi’s right hand moved straight toward Randa’s face. A smooth white hand without a scratch that emitted cold smoke around.

Randa’s eyes widened and she quickly let go of Ardi and jumped back.

"Randa, what’s wrong?!" snapped one of the men controlling the goat monster.

Randa’s breathing quickened and so did her heart beat.

’What is he trying to do?’ thought Randa who was observing Ardi that just standing in place.

Pose ready to fight, gaze somewhat serious even though his eyes looked like they were about to burst into tears. Judging from his fighting pose, Randa understood that Ardi was not a beginner when it came to martial arts.

But why...

"Why are you shaking?!" Randa shouted, making Ardi startle and take a step back.

’This guy...’ thought Randa as she tried to contain her emotions. ’With all the skills he has and he’s...’

"I... I... Don’t want to fight you," said a trembling Ardi.

"WHY ARE YOU ACTING LIKE A COWARD?!" Randa’s big scream sent the animals around running in fear and managed to make Ardi fall to the ground in shock.

Randa suddenly walk away and left everyone confused. She went to one of the huts some distance away from the conflict and returned with a long iron chain.

Randa threw one end of the chain at Ardi and held the other end with her right hand.

"If you really don’t intend to do anything dangerous, wrap this around your neck!" Randa demanded.

Ardi didn’t understand at first, but after a while he realized that this was one way of negotiating that could prevent the situation from becoming more dangerous.

Ardi stared at the end of the chain for a few moments as he gulped.

’If you were a man of such great ability and a martial arts expert, you wouldn’t have lowered your pride like this, would you?’ Randa monologued in her own mind while looking at Ardi who looked doubtful.

Without any movement from Ardi, Randa finally smiled. "I knew it, you were bluffing and -"

Ardi wrapped the iron chain around his neck and looked at Randa. "D... Do... Do you believe me now?"

The blood vessels in Randa’s head almost burst as her anger grew.

Randa immediately pulled the chain and treated Ardi like a slave. "Follow me!"

’Damn! What’s wrong with him?! Why am I so upset with him?!’ Thought Randa who was dragging Ardi like a medieval person who had just bought a slave.

The tense situation was starting to ease but Randa’s actions put a big question mark on everyone.

Johan and Galih slowly lowered their guard while Farel laughed.

Unlike Ignoir who did not lower his guard at all.

The men guarding the place began to breathe a sigh of relief and pulled back the goat monsters.

The goat monsters walked into the shadows of the big men and dived straight into the shadows of their respective masters.

The phenomenon was too mystical to be explained scientifically but in the eyes of Johan who had fought Aril and had faced Rama, such mystical things were not something that would surprise him anymore.

---------------------------------------------------

Some shady trees made Reizel wonder, where would Rama take him? Isn’t this not the proper route? Does Rama intend to kill Reizel this time?

Reizel continued to stare at the young man whose height was no higher than his shoulder, but for some reason, he couldn’t lower hisguard.

"There’s no need to tense up like that. I have no intention of killing you," said Rama who did not even turn around to look at Reizel who was walking behind him.

"At least not me," Rama continued which now made the wavy-haired man a little worried.

"Where do you want to take me?" asked Reizel.

Rama immediately stopped his steps and Reizel was immediately alert.

This time Rama turned his body around while chuckling. "I told you, you have nothing to worry about."

"Then why are you-" Reizel’s sentence was cut off as his eyes caught sight of something strange on the ground, more precisely on the ground that Rama stepped on.

No...

Not the ground...

It was something above the ground. Something bumpy and dark in color.

Before his brain could guess, Reizel was immediately shocked by the figure of a goat skull that slowly came out of the ground.

But its appearance was not like something buried in the ground, but something from different dimension.

From Rama’s shadow, a skull-headed goat monster appeared and took a few steps in front of Rama.

A tiny goat monster whose size was probably no bigger than a cat.

Despite its small size, there was a strange aura that intimidated Reizel.

The red light that became the creature’s eyes seemed to stare directly into Reizel’s soul and made the man nauseous.

"R... Ra... Rama... What is this thing?" asked a slightly frightened Reizel.

"What? Did you forget the kalomba’s appearance?" replied Rama with a new question.

"No, Kalomba is not like this. Its shape is very different," Reizel responded swiftly.

"Oh, sorry, I almost forgot." Rama raised the corner of his right lip slightly. "This is the evolution of kalomba that your father wanted to accomplish all along. Great, right?"

That short answer made Reizel recall a memory that made his stomach churn.

Reizel’s mind immediately imagined the figure of a little girl who stood smiling with blood flowing from her head to toes.
