Chapter 798: Plan in action - Part 2

In the dead of the night, when the entire mansion was covered with a veil of darkness, Jared and his men made their way inside. Glancing at Noah’s men who now lay unconscious before him, he let out a sneer.

’Do you call this security, Noah? Pathetic!’ Jared thought as he directed his men to go inside, and once they did, they threw the knock-out gas tube to render them unconscious like they had done with the guards outside.

Slowly but carefully, they entered the mansion through the windows and noticed the few men lying on the ground.

With Jared right behind them, they led him inside as they started to look for Ivy. They were utterly careful on their way. Noah’s guards were down, not Noah. And then, there were Joshua and Ian who were equally capable as Noah. From his men who had followed the ambulance, Jared knew that Joshua and Ian too had remained at the mansion and with them around, his work would be all the more difficult. So, they didn’t let their guard down even for a moment as they stealthily walked inside.

The dim light inside was enough to guide their path, and they made their way towards the stairs after searching the rooms on the lower level.

Jared more or less knew the layout of the mansion, courtesy to his spy who had failed to escape from Noah’s keen eyes. Avoiding the master bedroom, he ordered his men to start from the other rooms.

Even though his heart itched to enter the master bedroom and end Noah’s life, he wanted to keep the man for last. He wanted to watch him bleed to death. He wanted to hear him beg for his death. But he wouldn’t get it. Not so soon.

Torture. That was all Noah would receive every time he begged for death, and Jared was looking forward to the day when that would happen.

The men halted when they heard the sound of beeps from the other side of the door, and they glanced at Jared immediately. Ivy was here. But that didn’t mean she’d be alone. So, they had to be careful, and Jared gestured towards his men who nodded at him before they took action.

Slowly and quietly, they opened the door and saw the woman lying on the bed. The room was dimly lit, but from where they were, they couldn’t see her face. It was covered with gauze and an oxygen mask, hiding her face from them completely. But they knew it was Ivy, their prey for the night.

Beside her, Ian was fast asleep, and the men instantly rushed inside, making sure to be as quiet as possible.

Jared stood by the door as he stared at his prey before glancing at Ian. What a perfect opportunity! He came for Ivy, but he got Ian as well. Two preys in one night. Amazing!

Jared couldn’t stop rejoicing, and he nodded at his men who approached Ian immediately.

As if sensing someone’s presence by his side, Ian woke up and his eyes narrowed. But he didn’t react, waiting for them to approach him as he took action. However, he coughed twice as he continued to pretend that he was fast asleep.

Ian didn’t know how many were inside the room. So, he didn’t take the risk and waited until the men were near him before he took action. Just when the men were about to knock him out, he pulled out the knife from his shoes and stabbed one while his other hand that held the gun fired immediately.

Taking it as her cue, Aria, who had been pretending to be Ivy, pulled out her oxygen mask, somersaulted out of the bed, and rushed towards Jared before kicking him hard in his chest.

Everything happened in a blink, and Jared’s men didn’t even have time to comprehend what was transpiring. Before they could protect their master, they were shot, and one by one, they fell to the floor.

Jared didn’t have time to defend himself at all. Aria was merciless as she rained blows on him. With a hard kick to his chest, she sent him stumbling back until he fell to the floor, forcing him to lower his hand that held the gun for a moment. And that was all it took for the valiant lady to break his arm.

Stepping hard on his wrist, she didn’t stop until she heard a loud crack. Pulling out a knife from her shirt sleeve, she stabbed him in his thigh, just inches away from his groin, and Jared let out a shriek immediately. His cry was no less different than that of an animal in the slaughterhouse.

Aria glared at the man before him in hatred as she recalled the incident. She recalled how Ivy had been tortured by him. She recalled how he had played with her sister and had almost pushed her towards the Grim Reaper.

With intense hatred, she pulled his hair back, forcing him to look at her. "Hello, Jared. How are you?" Her tone was laced with venom while her eyes were filled with malice. She didn’t care about Jared’s men or the commotion that was happening behind her. Noah’s men would take care of it. She was focused on her target whom she was hellbent on tormenting.

"Did you like the surprise?" She smirked as she pulled the knife from his thigh and stabbed it again, this time another inch closer to his groin, and Jared yelled out again. He tried to break free from her grasp but couldn’t. Aria’s hold on him was freakishly strong that he couldn’t move at all.

For the first time in his life, he was afraid of a woman, and he stared at the devil before him in fear.

Jared attempted to kick her with his uninjured leg. But Aria was quick to defend herself, and she stabbed his thigh again a mere centimeters away from his groin, only this time it was his uninjured thigh.

Jared didn’t know where things had gone wrong and how he had lost. All he knew was that he had to escape from Aria’s clutches and leave before it was too late.

Mustering all the strength in him, he attacked her, and for a moment, he was able to free himself from her. However, Aria was quick to regain her hold on him, and she didn’t allow him to escape. Pulling him by his ankle, she dragged him towards her, and before he could attack her again, she stabbed his manhood, and Jared fainted immediately.
