Aiden stared down at the woman sleeping peacefully in his arms, a soft sigh escaping his lips. It amazed him how serene she looked, completely oblivious to the chaos she had left in her wake. She’d reduced him to nothing but a boneless heap, and now she slept soundly as though she hadn’t just turned his world upside down. Even as he held her, his mind couldn’t shake the image of her kneeling before him, gazing up with eyes full of desire, asking him—no, commanding him—to show her how to please him.

The memory of that moment made his chest tighten and he felt himself harden again. Though her position had seemed submissive, he had been the one rendered utterly powerless.
